JetclawFaith FOXBANE IS JOINING DC. GOOD LUCK! You're free to have Bloodyrondo supporters who ran out chasing Foxbane off SC territory. OR have cats who are leaving SC join up with her. Or your DayClan cats reacting that Foxbane is joining them, their worst nightmare. xD ))
Foxbane raced across SunClan's territory at a dead sprint, undoubtedly having a group of cats behind her. Friend or foe, she didn't know, but she still wore the crazy smile on her face, the sort of thing that suggested she, uh, maybe wasn't quite in her right mind. Or maybe she was simply enjoying this far too much, thoughts of revenge lighting up her eyes. Littlestar would not have gotten out unscathed, and for that, she would kill Bloodyrondo. She wouldn't claim to be innocent in all this, she cultivated this system. But she also would be the first to put anyone down who hurt the she-cat she raised.
That was her one regret in all this. Realizing she couldn't save Littlestar, and the thought made the smile slip off her face as darkness overtook it. He would pay. And he would regret ever living.
She hardly even paid attention to the landscape now as it rushed by and the border came into sight. A few tears blew away as she ran, the bloodshot look to her gaze accentuating the ivy as her gaze dried and only vengeance remained.
The gaze of the ginger she cat that ran after her wasn't quite as dry, truthfully the she cat had lost control of her emotions once she and her children had left the heart of SunClan's territory behind and tears blurred her visions as she ran. Using the blurred view of Foxbane up ahead to guide her and her children to DayClan's border, heart in her throat.
She'd had Radiantpaw, Vibrantpaw and DAncingpaw with her from the moment of their birth. And still she'd failed to save Dancingpaw from falling into the clutches of the cult mindset.
Just when she felt there was something ahead... it was all dashed.
Then she saw Vibrantpaw running a few steps behind and she swallowed tightly, forcing her emotions down. Even though she'd failed Dancingpaw, she still had other children to worry about.
She spotted the border up ahead and quickened her pace to catch up with Foxbane.
Nightshadeintuition wasn't far behind either, carrying Smutryekit in his jaws as he ran, soon catching up with Summersolstice. He brushed up against her silently, knowing she was there by smell and touch rather than sight. He didn't dare to speak, lest he drop the kit, but that was alright. He was there.
Foxbane glanced back only after a heartbeat, noting Summersolstice and Nightshadeintuition. She offered a nod to them, but that was about it for the moment. They needed to get to DayClan, then they could truly discuss. Not to mention, her lungs were already burning, she wouldn't be able to get more than a gasp out anyhow.
"Okay okay, but then I was like, Selene, can you make him tell the truth and she said yes," Autumngossamer grinned.
"NO!" Sweetieheart said, completely enthralled in the story.
"YES! It was wild, oh my God, he said everything. And everyone was like, oh my gosh, I had no idea that he was evil and Littlestar legit slayed him. Like damn, what a night. So yeah I'm having my wedding there for sure," Autumngossamer said as she nodded along with her words.
"Hey... What are those little specks in the distance?"
Autumngossamer peered over Sweetiepeach, "There's a lot of them."
Dawningpaw raced harder than she normally would even given the situation. She was carrying two kits in her jaws and her neck was killing her keeping them above the ground. Accompanying with her was Insightfulpaw and Flawedperspective, her brother and mother respectively, they were also each holding kits.
Cleaverstrawberrycupid Gotta love a crowd coming to greet someone, right? If only this was for greeting purposes, however. There indeed was a crowd of cats. Foxbane, Smutryekit, Nightshadeintuition, and Sydney was quickly catching up. Not to mention Summersolstice, Dawningpaw, Ebonygold, and more, all streaming for the clan. Honestly, the closer they got, it almost looked like a war party. Well, if not for cats carrying kits.
Foxbane ran straight for camp, not wasting time mincing words when a cat or two shouted to know what they were doing. Funny, that she was leading the charge in running away. Well, almost leading, Summersolstice was at her side. Once in DayClan's camp, she skidded to a halt, her paws burning as she did so. "Glowstar, you're going to need to get nests ready."
Doctoredheart was close behind his mother, Foxbane, like a shadow he followed her never letting the distance between them change as they raced across Sunclans territory. He was uncertain about the future but what he knew for sure was he would always support his mother, he regretted nothing in his decision to leave the clan he had known his whole life. He came to halt just behind Foxbane as they entered Dayclans camp and for the first time since they left let his eyes take in his surroundings
Insightfulpaw lifted his head higher as he ran to make sure Skullcapkit was clear of the ground that was speeding by beneath them, with his sister in clear view he focused on her as they grew further from what a few moment ago was their home.
Radiantpaw was trotting alongside Nightshadeintuition Witchkit clutched in her mouth, the ginger and white apprentice having snagged the kit when she'd saw Nightshadeintuition trying to grab up his mother's kits as quickly as possible. The little kitten mewling in distress.
Summersolstice stood by Foxbane, heart in her throat as she looked around. This was going to have to be home for now.
Soaringbird emerged from the nursery at the sound of all the commotion the gray tabby's eyes widening at the sight. "Great StarClan! Why are all these SunClan cats here?!" She said. Then she saw her sister. "Burnings-" She trailed off unsure what to call her, and instead switched for. "Sister!" She cried immediately going up and rubbing her cheek against her sister. "Oh my dear sister! Are you all right?! What's happened?" She glanced towards Vibrantpaw and Radiantpaw. "Is that one of yours? I didn't know you were having another litter."
"No, that's one of Mountainsounds," Summersolstice meowed. "SunClan... to put it simply has fallen apart."

"You could have given a head's up if you were going to bring a whole party here, babe." While he strolled on over to see Glowstar, seeing Foxbane was a nice surprise. Though the rest of them, he was a bit unsure. Funk was one thing and it was conveniently where he needed to be. Or not, he didn't know. So he walked up to Foxbane, looking over the crowd. Some of them had a similar bengal pelt. He'd address it later if he had to. "What's the situation?" He put his nose to Foxbane's as a greeting before stepping away and cocking his head. Honeystorm
Skullcapkit was a decently sized kit too. He pulled his hind legs up to help Insightfulpaw as much as he could. "Thanks for the lift." He purred. Phantom
Insightfulpaw smiled around the tom and a returning purr rumbled in his chest, it wasn't until they entered into Dayclans camp behind the others that he lowered the tom to the ground and released him. "You're welcome." He let out a deep rooted chuckle, ruffling the fur on the kits head with a gentle paw. "Don't wonder off okay?" strawberrycupid
He looked around as cats gathered to investigate, his eyes stopping on the Bengal coated Funk as the tom approached and spoke to Foxbane.
Foxbane took a breath, but even she couldn't bring a smile to her face this time. She looked tired, maybe a bit worried, though that was more for Littlestar and Tinymutiny than anything else. "Well let's sum it up. I got exiled, Littlestar may be dead for all I know, Bloodyrondo took over, and anyone who hates him and isn't fighting in this mini uprising that Bloodyrondo will probably win is here, or near to it."

"Ah... you sure know how to make my life look boring." Funk chuckled, looking out again as more cats stumbled into camp. "Hopefully there's enough room here. If not, you might be able to rest here for the night before coming down to PI. We at least have enough room." It was a bit of a sticky situation, but Funk was on Foxbane's side. Trying to get on Bloodyrondo's side would be fruitless anyway, so may as well defy him.
Dawningpaw set down Heatherkit and Snakerootkit, her gaze scanning DayClan's camp for Insightfulpaw and her foster siblings Sweetpaw and Harvestpaw.
Harvestpaw was quick to notice the madness happening in camp and quickly came out to find Dawningpaw and Insightfulpaw there. When he was born his mother wasn't allowed to nurse him so instead he grew up next to Dawningpaw and Insightfulpaw until his mother was able to care for him again. After that he didn't really spend too much time with his two foster siblings. Especially since the gathering where his mother Autumngossamer moved his family to DayClan.
"Are you both okay?" Harvestpaw asked to Dawningpaw and Insightfulpaw.
After hearing Foxbane's words she immediately moved forward to go to SunClan, but stopped. She was leader of DayClan, everyone came here for a stable home. Rule one of survival skill was shelter, she couldn't leave her clan and possibly new clanmates without forming stability and safety. She looked out into the crowd, she didn't see Azura or Senescence, but the somber feeling never touched her, she had to be there for those who were here.
"Alright, alright," Glowstar repeated firmly, her paw stroking against Foxbane's side before moving past her and onto the sharp rock for an announcement, "Everyone who can catch their own prey is needed. Please gather as many nesting materials as you can and make nests for our guests. They are all welcome to our prey. I want all Titans to be looking out for these SunClan cats, no SunClan cat can leave without a Titan or Bright Brigade member present with them. Additionally some of us are going to stand guard by the SunClan. Any new SunClan cats that want to come to DayClan will be taken to cat and questioned, but no one is to be turned away."
This wasn't DayClan's first rodeo, they've had to protect SunClan run aways before, but nothing like this.
Glowstar looked back at Foxbane, but didn't know what to say, "I'm glad you got out." That was the only positive thing she could say before shaking her head, "Actually back when you kidnapped me into SunClan you erased my scent so no one could figure out it was SunClan. Whatever you did we have to do it again."
"I also swore to kill him if he hurt Littlestar, and considering he refused to exile her while I was there that's basically a guarantee. So, if his body ends up in a river or on a spike, I claim credit." Foxbane answered easily, not at all bothered by the declaration. In fact, the she-cat had a dark edge to her face as she mentioned her daughter that suggested Bloodyrondo had probably messed with her just tad too much. Glowstar would know the look well. It was Foxbane's revenge driven expression, one that had tainted everything no matter how hard she hid it before the apocalypse. The sort of expression that once one saw it, stated even StarClan wouldn't be able to sway her.
She took another steadying breath. "I'm here to join DayClan, and I expect the rest of these are too. I assume you won't turn them away, Glowstar?" She wasn't SunClan leader anymore, but Foxbane was clearly speaking for these cats. Funny, that, being able to bring SunClan cats out of the clan merely by getting exiled, though she would hardly say she was the actual catalyst. "If DayClan doesn't want me, I can leave for the League."
The ex-Priestess nodded at Glowstar's comment however. "Of course. DayClan will be the first place he looks. Covering our tracks as best we can is best."
"I will help in anyway I can," Summersolstice added stepping up. "I would also like to join DayClan, and..." She paused glancing at her sister, then at Nightshadeintuition and her kits. "I would like to be called Burningsummer," She meowed. "Though SunClan is no longer the clan I want to be a part of. Littlestar gave me the name Summersolstice... and for what Bloodyrondo has likely done to her. I'd like to keep part of it in her honor." She said softly.
The Bengal apprentice stayed close to his sister, but smiled happily when Harvestpaw found them. "Look how much you've grown! We are okay, things are just a little crazy." He reassured their foster siblings. "Where is Sweetpaw?" He asked looking around for the she-cat. Faith
Honeybun skipped out of the warriors den at the commotion and smiled widely his white teeth showing between his lips, quickly he pranced up to the Sunclan scented cats and began to greet them happily. "Hi, I'm Honeybun! Welcome to Dayclan!" The boisterous tom had the appearance of a young apprentice despite having been a warrior for some moons now.
Snakerootkit huffed as he was placed on the ground but sat complacently.
Her eyes still half-closed with sleep, fur scuffed and unorderly, Sweetpaw stumbled from the apprentice's den. "Harvestpaw, what's going on?" she yawned, looking around. She quickly grew more alert when she spotted all of the SunClan cats and she unsheathed her claws. "Are they here to take Mom back?" FaithPhantom
Ebonygold looked around the new camp hesitantly. He had never seen DayClan's territory before, and if it wasn't for everyone else at his side, he never would have considered coming here. If it wasn't for his kits, he never would have left either, but he had to keep them safe and SunClan was no longer a good home for them. His needs came second to theirs now.
After Foxbane had dragged him out here, Deal had chosen to spend a few days in the camp, though he was quickly learning to regret that choice. It was strange being around so many others once again. When he spotted all the incoming cats, he had no desire to stick around any longer, until he spotted a familiar dark coat. His eyes brightened as he bounded past Soaringbird to greet Ebonygold, butting his head softly against the older tom as a low purr rumbled in his throat.
Heatherkit squealed in protest when her paws touched unfamiliar ground. It was colder and more dusty than the sandstone she knew back in SunClan. The scents were all wrong too and she started to shake, "Up! Up!" She cried, waving her head around as she tried to find Dawningpaw, her sightless lilac gray eyes cast upward at the sky.
*I'll reply with more characters tomorrow it's bed time xD
Dawningpaw listened in on Foxbane's conversation, visibly grimacing. She didn't have the horror of witnessing Littlestar get held down, publicly humiliated, beaten, and broken. She hadn't even realized it, but her paws were shaking by the time she looked up to see Sweetpaw, "He..." She swallowed hard as she looked at her foster sibling, blinking a few times she spoke again, "Autumngossamer was right, the Sun God disrespected she-cats and now it's given everyone else permission to disrespect she-cats in power or otherwise. Anyone who opposes is being forced into submission, the Sun God was a lie... AND FOXBANE KNEW IT!"
Her eyes teared up as she rubbed at her face, "One hundred lives in the balance of a false prophet and only now when one of us speaks out do we know the truth... That was my home, but now everything just feels fake."
"Aww, welcome to the club," Harvestpaw said with sarcastic compassion before looking at Insightfulpaw, "It's good to see you too," He said honestly. Looking down he noticed Heatherkit and poked her forehead as though it had an off button for her pleading, "You're staying on the ground for now."
Glowstar looked among the crowd, "They're accepted, but when something like this happens we need to observe carefully that no ones returning back information to SunClan endangering anyone genuinely trying to stay away."
She turned and nodded to Burningsummer, "Of course, but right now likely only DayClan cats can help cover up the tracks with their own scent."
She exchanged a look with Funk E'tan as she thought about Foxbane's earlier comment about moving to the league. Truthfully she felt Foxbane would love the league far more than the fun loving peaceful DayClan, but in no way was she opposed to Foxbane living in DayClan. "You'll be fine," She reassured her mate with a lick to the forehead. But her emerald gaze slipped over to Dawningpaw, she saw what happened and so did everyone else. Foxbane was going to find out, "When you inevitably know what happened to Littlestar I'm here if you want to talk, but the city between DayClan and Primal Instinct is yours to take your anger out on," She said as a quick ground rule for the public safety of everyone here in case Foxbane went into a rage. But typically from what she had seen Foxbane's first emotion wasn't anger, it was sorrow.
HoneystormJadieFaith Burningsummer nodded in understanding. "I understand," she told Glowstar. "In that case I'll try to do what I can here." She said.
Her ear twitched as she heard Heatherkit's squeaky cries. The ginger she cat turning and spotting the little kit.
She hesitated then she turned from Foxbane and Glowstar to go over to Heatherkit, Dawningpaw, Harvestpaw and Insightfulpaw. "She must be cold, little kits like her can be very sensitive," she told Harvestpaw gently.
She crouched down, "Heatherkit do you want to ride on my back?" She asked Heatherkit gently. Her heart still raw from failing Dancingpaw she wanted to do better by these young cats who had been able to leave.
FaithCleaver Insightfulpaws heart dropped at Sweetpaws worry of losing her mother but he managed to pull himself together enough to answer the she-cat. "No, we are here in hopes of having a new home." His voice cracked, but it wasn't until Dawningpaw spoke that the little strength he had left faded, every word she said was the truth and with that he could feel the warmth of tears in his green eyes. "Don't cry, Dawningpaw, please." He brushed his side against hers, trying to hide his own tears.
