Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Senescence stayed on top of Jetclaw until her struggles stopped, and she stepped up, sniffing at the she-cat as the stench of death rose to meet her. If there was pulse the initiate said nothing. "I'll give the body to the crows." She mused, picking up Jetclaw's limp frame as death hung heavy in the air. "And, since it seems things are starting to die down, I'll get the body out of the way." She didn't wait for approval before hauling the corpse up onto her back, blood easily dripping down her sides as she did so and headed out. "I'll grab whoever else's body I can on the way."
Balancedkit didn't really heed Ferventkit's prayer, but he did follow to snuggled into Skipstep at the call. Nothing would ever be the same. But he knew, now more than ever, he had to keep watch, no toes out of line.
"Yeah poppa, it's always darkest before dawn someone said!" Resilientkit meowed nuzzling in close with her father and her siblings.
Skipstep tried not to break down as his daughter prayed, instead pulling them closer. "I want you all to know that whatever happens, your momma and I love you so much. You're all wonderful. You're all precious to us both and we love you, we love you so so much." He stressed as he wrapped himself tighter around his children. Trying to bury himself in his love for his children like by keeping them close and just loving them as hard as he could they'd be safe. HoneystormJadieracer
The stench of death reached his nose and despite himself he lifted his head a milimeter and saw his sister hanging from Senescence's jaws and his heart cracked, tears forming in his eyes as he gazed at what he assumed was his sister's corpse.
"Jetclaw." He whispered unable to stop himself the grief overwhelming him, he bristled as Senescence spoke of throwing her body to the crows but... shamefully rather than get up and fight. He did what he knew his sister and Littlestar would've wanted, he pulled his kits in closer and braced himself.

The she-cat turned on the other warrior quickly before realizing who it was. Her eyes shone sympathetically for a brief moment as she looked away from Goldengrace. "All cats have a weakness... even Bloodyrondo. He is not invincible..." Shadeflower had said softly. She looked back up and curled a lip watching them take Jetclaw's body away. "He's betrayed everything... But I took an oath to defend Sunclan when I became a warrior... I can't just abandon that. It makes me no better than him." Jetclaw
Goldengrace's eyes misted over as Senescence casually carried around the dead body of Jetclaw. Her aunt who had always been so passionate and tough dead and about to be fed to the crows made her throat tighten. "Bloodyrondo's weakness isn't exposed now," She said softly. "Jetclaw's a good warrior, stronger than me, and not even she could do anything. Singedwolf was my mother's ardent protector and he was shredded by that monster." She hissed tears coming to her eyes. "Shadeflower I beg of you if you want to help your clan, go and find kits and get them out to safety. Get the weakest cats out. You try taking on Bloodyrondo you will lose," She said hoarsely. Nova
"You're both moons older than me but you don't get it." Wolfpaw laughed, wiping a tear from his galaxy blue eyes. He didn't explain his thoughts, though, it wasn't really the time or place. He didn't think they would get it anyway. Those with big hearts and noble ambitions would never see the same picture that he did, "I for one am going to stay and see how this place plays out. Now that my parents ditched, I think my life is about to get a whole lot better." He purred then realized one of the she-cats he was talking to, Goldengrace, was Littlestar and Skipstep's daughters. Oof, "Oh, sorry about your parents though, really sucks." NovaJetclaw
"On it!" Ruined purred sweetly to Ryn before bounding off to go stop some cats from getting to the exit. Her tone making her want to gag herself. She hated being nice to him, even if she was faking it but, she had to play nice for the time being if she wanted to stay alive. And unfortunately that also meant putting herself between the frantic fleeing cats and their only means of escape.
Earthpaw gently sat Sunny down by her sister, breaking his vow to never touch Articsong, by gently removing them from her face and pinning them firmly under his large paws. "Stop it, you're hurting yourself." some lingering fury still blazed in the young cat's gaze but none of it was directed at his kin. "You're stronger than this." strawberrycupidFaith
Shadeflower glared at Wolfpaw. Sometimes she really wished the apprentice would speak with more restraint. "Someone has to stand up to him... all it would take is one cat... Goldengrace, I'm so sorry about your loss... I know what it feels like.'' The tortoiseshell took a deep breath before she continued. "But Sunclan will always be my home. If I fight him alone then I fight him alone. He doesn't frighten me. And you may call me foolish, Wolfpaw, but so be it. I stand where I stand." JadieJetclaw
Goldengrace shook her head. "Shadeflower, Jetclaw, Singedwolf and others have stepped up to him. Heck even Foxbane opted to do nothing rather than fight him. We need to see the writing on the wall. This is the new reality... we need to deal with it..." She spotted Arcticsong smacking herself and Earthpaw trying to help her. "My sister needs my help," She said softly and she turned and made her way over to Arcticsong, Sunnysmiles and Earthpaw. "If you want to do some good then help those that are suffering already rather than throw your life away." Nova
Perfectkit couldn't pretend to be hopeful like his siblings were, but he bowed his head in prayer anyway, strengthened by his father's words, "Well, if the Sun God is supposed to come back when he's needed, then I hope he hears us and gets here really quick!" JetclawHoneystormracer

Shadeflower let Goldengrace's words sink in. The warrior was right, she had even witnessed the efforts of those that tried to stand up to him. The she-cat pinned her ears flat against her head, and with a heavy sigh nodded. "Fine... I will go help those in need of it. But I will pray that justice is done... traitors never prosper..." She hissed. With her tail lashing the tortoiseshell made her way through the crowd, weaving her way between the cats as she tried to help whoever she could Jetclaw
"She's so noble, I may just fall in love." Wolfpaw snickered as Shadeflower padded away. He stood up and went the other direction, careful to avoid any fighting although for the most part it had died down. He didn't have a scratch on him and was very pleased with himself for avoiding the worst of it. He just hoped nobody would make him help clean it all up.
