Bloodyrondo continued to weep as his god's body turned to ash at his paws. He was covered in the stuff now, it stuck to his paint almost like a glue, he felt filthy but also warmed by the holy embers. He stayed like this for a few long minutes as the cats of SunClan milled round their fallen High Priestess behind him. She was in good hands with Foxbane, although he couldn't find it in his heart to care either which way. He would have prayed for her, but...
The ginger tom stood up abruptly and hoped down from the ledge where the rest of the leaders milled. He cut right through the assembled crowd, taking the fastest route back to SunClan and a leisurely pace, leaving his Clan standing there to decide if they'd follow after him or stay loyal to the God Killer. He didn't even know where he stood on the topic but right now he was just done.

SUNCLAN "Flamingstar, if you don't back away now, you won't have any lives to spare. I don't care if you're pregnant, if you take one more step, you will die." Foxbane's voice darkened to dangerous levels in an instant, shifting to block the leader from accessing the Priestess. The fox feline wasn't kidding either. "So shut up and bring it up a different day, I don't really fancy killing yet another queen, in front of Glowstar no less. That'd be rather rude." For once, her and Skipstep were on the same page, and that was was protecting Littlestar at all costs.
DAYCLAN Fia sat herself next to Goldenphantom, silently wrapping her tail around her mate's body in silent comfort, though her paws were covered in ash, having taking a moment to kick the remains of the now dead deity. Lovepaw wasn't far behind, and he nosed Golden gently. "Everything's going to be okay, mom." He assured, though he had no clue what was wrong in the first place.
Flamingstar bristled back at Skipstep and Foxbane, drawing her lips back into a snarl. She was surprised to see Bleakwind at her side, trying to talk her into giving it up for now. "I came for answers! I didn't intend for this catastrophy to happen. If someone doesn't tell me where Turbulentsea is, there will be war!" She shot an extremely spiteful glare at Skipstep and Foxbane, one strong enough to cut through flesh.

SUNCLAN There was a resounding SMACK as Foxbane spun, claws extended to slap Flamingstar hard across the face. "I told you to leave. Get out." She stepped closer, nearly nose to nose with the NightClan leader. With Bloodyrondo gone, and Littlestar out of action, it was only natural for her to simply take the reigns, as she was used to. "Or do you want to end up like the god on the ground, dust and ash that no one will remember?"
Foxbane's face was twisted into rage and darkness, but love shone in it as well, the instinct to protect her daughter at any and all costs. "If you want war, I will bring you war. And I don't need SunClan behind me to make your life hell."
SunClan Skipstep growled moving to put his body between Flamingstar and Littlestar, standing behind Foxbane teeth barred. If Flamingstar pushed it.
NightClan “Enough!” Bleakwind got between Foxbane and Flamingstar. “This is not over Foxbane,” he said firmly, then to Flamingstar, “Let’s go home,” He said softly, “think of your kits, the loyal guard can pick this up at the border another day.” He urged her
Flamingstar was knocked off her feet from the slap. She laid awkwardly on her side as Foxbane towered over her, nose to nose. Undeterred by Foxbane's aggression, Flamingstar rose to her paws, struggling from her round belly. "Then war it shall be" she snarled, lowering her head and continually glaring at Foxbane. "You've made yourself a powerful enemy, Foxbane. Your reputation of being the most dangerous living being in the forest is over. Time for a new monster to arise." She flexed her claws, tearing her gaze away from Foxbane to look down at Littlestar. "This isn't over, Littlestar. I will prove that you are nothing more than a thief and a kidnapper. Your not worth protecting." With a flick of her tail, Flamingstar departed, heading for the exit. "Nightclan, move out!" She was grateful for Bleakwind being there to help her but she didn't need him to fight her battles. If she was constantly hiding behind him, what kind of leader would she be?

SUNCLAN Foxbane didn't even flinch. "You have no idea who you're dealing with, Flamingstar." She didn't care who cursed her, who hated her, who wanted her dead. She would protect those she loved with her life, even if it meant ending the life of another.
Firetooth watched silently as the Sun God turned to ashes right before his cold, unsympathetic eyes, his fiery pelt brushing up against Autumngossamer's the entire time. When it was all over, a leader had fallen and one of the most powerful creatures in the forest was no more. Seeing how Littlestar channeled Selene's spirit to purge the evil god, it reminded him of a story his father had once told him about Blakeystar, back when he was a kit...
But Autumngossamer and her family were finally safe, and that was half of what he came here tonight to accomplish. As the whole of Sunclan sans Bloodyrondo rushed to their leader's side, he took the opportunity to make his move. He turned to face the now former-Soothsayer and her mate with a triumphant smile, giving them both a curt dip of his head before pushing into the sea of confused and frightened cats, until he reached the one he wanted to see this entire time.
"Windskip," Firetooth breathed in relief, standing nose-to-nose with his mother for the first time in seasons. "It's- it's over, mom. I've done it; there's nothing to be afraid of anymore...Breezestep...." Tears beginning to well up in the corners of his eyes, he lunged forward and buried his muzzle into her fur, taking in her comforting scent. "I did it for you, mom. I went to hell and back, risked my life several times over...I did it all for you. To make up for the Shadow Era...for all I've done... Breezestep, Dorsalray, Ripplewish...please come to Swiftclan with me. Take whoever else you want, I don't care. But please...come home with me."

again rogue that has permission from stark to be here because he is future moonclan but no one knows that yet Subaru's eyes grew wider as the scene continued to escalate. There was blood, ash, falling leaders, losing a life?, anger and snarling, whacking, and random conversations of love on the side. "Wowee, that's some drama." He snickered softly, whiskers twitching in amusement. His lightning eyes flicked from each leader threatening and snapping at one another until his gaze fell on what he assumed to be the Moonclan leader. "Curious." The tug in his chest seemed stronger looking at that cat and his clan. "Heck, it seems like a terrible idea to join this insanity, but my life could use some chaos. Why not?"

DAYCLAN Fallpaw sat in the crowd beside of her sister, trembling. It was all to much, far to much. The tears her mother was shedding, wait not her mom... She remained still until Littlestar fell, but then she shot out of the crowd tears streaming down her face. Where she was headed was anyone’s guess
Lovesmitten purred rubbing up against his mate, they were finally free! “I did say I would marry you any where any time” he joked “if that is what your heart desires than so be it”

Dayclan
Goldenphantom attempted to slow the hiccuping that kept plaguing her. But as each cat approached her, another dam broke. Glassy, tear-filled brown eyes looked to Princepaw, Fairytalepaw, Lovepaw, Fia, the fading silhouette of Fallpaw and finally at Autumngossamer. Even if she was brought on to solve this mystery, even though she suspected this for so long, the truth hurt more than she could have imagined. Her mind raced with everything, anything she could to make it right, take blame. It all broke her heart. "Everyone, I'm so sorry. I'm sorry you were separated from your birth mother because of my selfish wish for kits." Goldenphantom finally said, voice bubbling over as more tears forced their way down her cheeks, staining her face.
Moonclan
Nereus dipped his head to Littlestar before beginning to groom her fur the opposite way to hold the heat in. He let the world disappear, let Flamingstar and Foxbane have their argument. It was none of his business.
Divinepaw had taken her time to approach Goldenphantom and Fia. She had expected to see her siblings were there already, and they were, kissing, comforting, doing everything sweet little kits aught to do for their parents. For her mothers' credit, they raised them with love. She always had everything that she needed and almost everything that she wanted... But she couldn't quiet the fire in her heart, burning stronger than ever before.
"So it's true, then? You stole us away from Autumngossamer and Lovesmitten?"
Her voice was cold as ice, same as her mismatched honey amber and silvered copper eyes. Her fur was shorter than Autumngossamer's but now that her parentage was known it was impossible to deny the likeness she bore to the former Soothsayer. She cocked her head as she so often did as a kit, "I always thought that you two were the good guys. I mean, you are both part of the Immortal Council, and have very high classes. I looked up to you. Wanted to be like you." Her voice began to raise with a fury all too familiar to the cats of the gathering, "I guess I was wrong! I don't know how you two sleep at night knowing that you robbed a mother of the chance to raise her children. A cursed, suffering she-cat, disregarded, abused by her God... A God that she went and got killed... because of something you did to her!"
Divinepaw took a few breaths. Her paws were trembling.
"I will never stop loving you, but that doesn't mean I have... or ever will... forgive you."

DAYCLAN Fia nuzzled into Goldenphantom, "You aren't the one who took them. You have nothing to apologize for, when I didn't even tell you where they came from." The Immortal Council member assured, her voice soft as she turned to address their kits, particularly Divinepaw. "I won't apologize for taking you, SunClan is a cruel place, and they've hurt their own far more than they've helped. I won't regret taking you away from the likes of Foxbane and Littlestar. But, if you're going to get mad at anyone, get angry with me. Goldenphantom had nothing to do with this, it was all me." She wasn't going to apologize, because she didn't regret what she did. She'd given them a far better life in DayClan than they ever would have had in SunClan, at least in her opinion. So, there was little to be sorry for, except for feeling guilty for upsetting them.
"I'm happy she took all of you. Look at everything I had to fight for just to give my clan basic rights, I wouldn't have wanted you to live through that the way Sweetpaw and Harvestpaw have. The Sun God cursed both of your siblings, they weren't raised by me, I wasn't allowed to nurse them. Maybe Fia shouldn't have the instinct to steal, but this life you have in DayClan is better than what you would have had in SunClan. I'll be a part of your life as much as you want me, but I doubt I'll ever have the bond you and your mothers have," Autumngossamer said honestly, but teared up at the sight of them. Yes, she never wanted the pregnancy, but she always wanted kits. Finally after everything she was able to actually feel her emotions instead of push them aside, "It's so good to meet you."
DAYCLAN
Fairytalepaw nuzzled Divinepaw, his head rubbing up and down the side of her face to her shoulder in comfort. Just like Divinepaw he could see over Autumngossamer's shoulder Lovesmitten, they did look so much alike. His eyes widened with worry hearing about Sweetpaw and Harvestpaw. He looked to Divinepaw and Princepaw, "We should go save them from SunClan before any angry SunClan cats hurt them." He couldn't process how he felt about his parents, but he did know he cared about their siblings, all of them.
Glowstar's tail lashed side to side watching Flamingstar leave before turning back to Foxbane. She wasn't going to lecture her now, but hitting a pregnant she-cat in front of her clan was unnecessary, she could have easily ignored her. For now she left the subject alone, Foxbane had... Surprised her today to say the least.
NightClan Bleakwind stuck at Flamingstar's side, only when they were a ways away from the others. Did he turn and give her smacked cheek a gentle lick to soothe some of the sting. "Are you all right?" He asked softly, the rest of NightClan was far enough behind them he wasn't worried about being overheard.
SunClan Skipstep let out a huff. After taking out the Sun God war would be tricky but seeing Foxbane standing protectively before Littlestar, taking charge and putting the fear... of well herself in Flamingstar was rather satisfying. Definitely among the reasons to stay on Foxstar's good sign. But Skipstep didn't dwell on it, turning back to begin rasping his tongue over Littlestar's fur as the MoonClan medicine cat had suggested in order to help his mate. He hoped she would open her eyes soon and show some signs of recovery. Though she was not caught in the clutches of death her state didn't seem that much better.
Divinepaw's fur was unruffled but clearly she was making an effort. She felt like she was not being taken seriously by Fia which only made her angrier, "Any Clan that can steal kits---" She began but sensed another cat at her side, doing a double take as she realized it was her biological mother.
Maybe Fia shouldn't have the instinct to steal, but this life you have in DayClan is better than what you would have had in SunClan.
Divinepaw's stomach was in knots. Autumngossamer had forgiven them, in fact, she even seemed happy that she had had her children robbed of her. She had three mothers and not one of them seemed to be on her page... No one understood her... She was not an emotional cat but she found herself fighting back tears. She tensed when she felt Fairytalepaw brush against her but for once did not pull away from touch. It was a welcome distraction and snapped her out of her funk.
"I..." What more was there to say? Divinepaw wasn't stupid, a part of her knew she was being a little unfair to her mothers, but she had all this anger and no outlet, "... I just want to go home..."

DAYCLAN Fia glanced at Autumngossamer, nodding her head slightly. It was funny, they had been such rivals in younger moons, and yet somehow, here they were. It was strange. "Then let's go home. All of us." She leaned into Goldenphantom a moment, though her gaze remained on the ex-Soothsayer. "You need any help getting Sweetpaw and Harvestpaw." The ashen feline paused. "For that matter, you keeping Autumngossamer, or going back to Heather something or other?"
Lovepaw lifted his head, smiling at Autumngossamer and waving. "I'm Lovepaw." It was a simple greeting, but it said a lot. Accepting Autumngossamer, for one, but clearly, his name was no coincidence.
Once, watching her god burn would have changed everything for her. Today it meant nothing. It was what came before that changed her world, and even if the Sun God was gone, even if they tried to explain themselves away, Windskip could never forgive what Autumngossamer had been forced to go through. After all the trauma she had seen queens endure, after everything she and her kin suffered, she did not have a forgiving bone left in her body for enabling cats.
"Selene as my witness; I will never stand idly by if a Queen is facing injustice...no cat should ever have to suffer like my mother did when I was promoted too young."
There was a lump in her throat at her son's words. She had struggled with Firetooth since he was made an apprentice, fought against his bitterness and resentment even when she felt the same, placed every bit of her soul into holding onto him despite every effort to take him away. She thought she had lost him so many times - when he was made a medicine cat, when their clan broke apart, when the Shadow Era collapsed, when he disappeared for moons only to reappear in a foreign clan - that she had nearly given up hope, but here was validation that her son had believed in her as much as she did him.
And when he stood before her, it took all of her strength to stand before him and listen to what he had to say. When she saw the tears in his eyes she was trembling with the need to comfort him, and the moment he came to her couldn't have come sooner. She cradled him against her chest and her purrs filled her entire body. "My son, you never needed to make it up to me," she murmured fiercely in his ear, "I never needed you to repent, I just needed you home with me. But what you've done here... I'm so proud of you. Your father would be too. You've done something incredible and nobody will ever forget it. I will never forget." Her voice was shaking, overwhelmed. He hadn't just slain a god, he had saved Autumngossamer, and that meant more to her than everything else. "I would be honored to return home with you, Firetooth."
Catching sight of the embracing pair, the inky black tom slipped over and tackled Firetooth, nearly knocking him out of Windskip's grasp. "Firetooth, you're insane! I always knew one of us had to turn out great but to be honest I was pretty sure it was going to me. Honestly, it's not cool to show me up like this, what am I going to do now? Murder an entire clan bare-pawed? That still doesn't compare!" Ghostcrown laughed, long and loud, but when he finished he was unusually sober. "Really, it doesn't matter anymore. I've been looking for you all day. I have great news. I'm a father now, Firetooth, I've got five little kittens to look after. they all think I'm the uglier cat they ever saw, but they'll change their minds. I'm going to be just as good of a father to them as Creekghost was a mentor to me, I swear I'll do him justice," he meowed solemnly.
Flamingstar flinched away from Bleakwind's lapping. As much as she appreciated the tom and trusted him, she couldn't be seen as weak. Especially in front of her clan mates. Foxbane had already humiliated her, she didn't need Bleakwind to baby her. Even though Kotori was technically her mate, Bleakwind had been her first love. A part of her almost wished she had chosen Bleakwind but Kotori was a powerful cat to have on their side. He had powerful connections. She couldn't afford to lose his affection toward her. Besides, he was sweet and the father of their kits. But no matter what, Bleakwind would always hold a special place in her heart and for that, he was the only one she could show her true emotions around.
She let out a defeated sigh, "I can't let the clan think I failed. If I give up on the search for Turbulentsea, they will think I don't care." She really could care less whether Turbulentsea was found or not but if she revealed that to her clan, they may turn against her. She was finally winning over her clan, she couldn't lose them. "But if your referring to my wound, it's fine. She didn't even break skin. It'll bruise but nothing to fuss over. I just wish I wasn't pregnant. I would have given Foxbane something to remember me by. May not have made it out of that clearing alive but at least she would never forget that I ruined her good looks."
NightClan Bleakwind nodded pulling back. He couldn't deny that a part of him hurt deeply that she'd picked Ratnest over him. But... Bleakwind was used to loving something so deeply and getting nothing in return. StarClan had given him other ways when the path to medicine cat never opened for him. He'd taught Turbulentsea and a few others before Turbulentsea came into his own.
He loved Flamingstar. That would never change, and if he had to be patient, and sit in her shadow rather than at her side he was fine.
It hurt.
But it was fine.
"You have not failed. You could not predict this madness," Bleakwind assured her. "If anything if you rally the clan when we get back we can come up with a plan to deal with SunClan. It was just the gathering was a poor time for it. The clans had just seen Littlestar receive a blessing from MoonClan's god, and she'd slain a god. And we already know DayClan's connected to SunClan. Had a fight broken out, I fear the other three might've come together against us since in that moment they were all unified against the Sun God. Come tomorrow the dust will settle and we can begin looking for a way to get the information."
