It was weird having Amberbird hang out by the yard all this time. When she went in that first day and told Honey about it, she just rolled her eyes and told Berry it was another fast-talking outside cat. But Berry wasn't really sure. Since Honey spent most of her days sleeping indoors, it was mainly Berry that went outside to talk to Amberbird. Some days she wanted to just curl up with Honey and sleep, but something kept bringing her outside. Even when it was chilly, and Berry hated the cold. But she never really felt it when she was with Amberbird. But she couldn't put her paw on why.
The house had been fitted with a doggy door that led outside, though it was more of a kitty door. And while her owner had done a good job of sealing up the gated area for them, she found the one loose corner in the mesh and slipped out. Not that she ever left the backyard. Of course, Amberbird was already there and she could feel her face heating up. Was she getting sick? That wasn't good. "Hey Bambi." She called out, an affectionate nickname she came up with when her tongue tied itself.
“Goo-good Mo-mor-rning!” His face was just as red as hers, though he could blame it on the cold a little easier than her. Thinking of the cold, his eyes glanced towards the door she exited everyday. He wondered what it was like inside of there. Was it as warm as his den back in FallClan? He shuffled on his feet trying to keep them warm. All around them leaves we’re starting to fall form trees and a chilly breeze was rolling across the yard. Some leaves landed in his fur and stuck pelt. Even now, he was force dto shake one off as it landed on his head. How embarrassing.

Berry's eyes narrowed for a split second. What was the problem? He didn't usually stutter, but it had gotten colder the more the months went on. And she tended to forget that it even was until she stepped outside. Another harsh breeze shook the tree above them, and a couple leaves danced above before falling to the floor. With a little caution, she put her paw to his chest. "Gods, you are freezing." Berry wanted to see Amberbird, but was already beginning to miss the warmth of her house. What would her human think if he got in? Would he care? The worry made her brow furrow for a moment before she let it go. "Hey, let's go inside. We got this new bowl that makes things appear than disappear. You'll love it."
She....she was inviting him inside? Not once had that seemed like a possibility but now it was happening. The large den had seemed a mile away each time he gazed upon it and yet, he was being invited in today. Hesitantly, the tom followed her inside. He was curious about what awaited him and what all he would find, but also a little terrified of it all. Ambersky had been born and raised out in the woods. First in EarthClan and then in FallClan, the inside of a kittypet nest had always been something of a mystery to him. The cat flap she disappeared and exited from each day was a struggle for him, and once he managed to get through it he found himself sprawled out on teh floor from tripping coming inside. Embarrassed, he kept his down for a moment and tried to scramble back onto his paws in hopes that she hadn't noticed his failure.

Berry led him through the broken mesh and through the door. She definitely saw him trip, but held her tongue. Though it wouldn't have been hard for Amberbird to catch her laughing under her breath. The house was mostly hardwood, so it made sense he fell. There was nothing for him to grip onto. It was something Berry didn't even notice. Completely used to it. There were some rugs strewn around, as well as several cat trees. More than enough for two cats. In fact, everything here looked like the twoleg was used to having more. Multiple brushes and types of food. The tv was playing the bird program Berry liked. "Go slower, otherwise your paws will slip out from under you again." Honey was probably in another room, sleeping in front of the heater. Which was good, she didn't wanna explain why she let the stray in.
strawberrycupid so I'm gonna have Ambersky stay if your good with that? He's gonna leave behind the life of a kittypet. We can still have some of their kits or all of them end up in FallClan because Seablossom is gonna come looking for her brother and that could be when they say "oh by the way take these with you."
Ambersky nodded his head, face a flame in his embarrassment. StarClan above, he couldn't believe he'd done that! Such a clutz, he was! In the background her could hear birds chirping, and his curiosity won out causing him to lift his head and gaze about. It is the first tome he's ever been in a twoleg's nest and really hadn't known what to expect, but all the trees and bird noises was not it. Did her twoleg encourage her to run away? Or was this their way of bringing the outside world in for her? He perked up once more when he heard the birds, his paws automatically drawing towards them. Did she have some inside? Were they for prey or just for play hunting? He'd caught a bird once, back when he'd been a warrior apprentice for EarthClan before the Great Flood happened and then his change in position in FallClan. Maybe...maybe he'd try again, show off a little about what clan life was like. Was she curious about that though? He searched around, ears up and still he found no bird. Just where were they coming from?

(i'm okay either way with them having kits or not. i would think Berry would be fixed, but eh, she doesn't have to be)
"Go ahead and look around. Just don't wake up Honey. No matter how many times our claws are filed down, she sharpens them immediately and will scratch you if you wake her up." Berry settled down on one of the rugs, though it was more of a flop as she rolled around on the soft fabric. Paws playfully batting at the air, she caught Ambersky in her peripheral and watched him search around curiously. Like he wasn't purely exploring, more like he was looking for something. Her eyes widened as the birds tweeted above her, and even when lying on her back, she wiggled her rump like she was going to jump on them. "What'cha looking for?" Berry asked, but she stopped paying attention to him.
(ok so change in plans. he's gonna go to winterclan and be a prisoner long enough for Roseshade to learn how to be medicine cats. then he'll be released and come back to live as a kittypet. Escorted back at that. So my thoughts are that when Seablossom comes looking for him, she finds that he's happy where he's at as a kittypet, but then when she goes to the gathering and the fact he's not there others learn he's now a kittypet. WinterClan hears this and take him from his home, willing with threats lol, so he'll train their new Witch and Pupil. So maybe we don't do kits? He can have a litter while in WIC cus I just wanted him to have some kits. They'd be ones he doesn't know about but he'll come home to his new home with Berry and live there happy with her. Sound good? Or do you wanna do something else?) strawberrycupid
