Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Phantomkit crept out of the nursery at the first light of dawn. She squinted her eyes as they adjusted to the morning light before leaning into a stretch. She let her gaze sweep around the camp as other cats began to wake up as well. After giving everything a quick scan she sat in a particularly nice ray of sun before she began to give her fluffy grey coat a wash.

Pearkit woke up with the early-risers of the clan and glanced over at his siblings. They were all sleeping but he wasn’t sure how long that would last. Wanting some time before they could wake and steal his attention, he stepped out of the den. He could use without the loud buzzing of his sisters for a while. Pearkit’s ear twitched as he noticed another kit already out of the nursery.
“What are you doing up so early,” he mewed, walking up to the she-kit cautiously.
A dark ginger she-cat had been laying there awake, enjoying being curled up with her siblings. Then there was movement as one of them moved to leave. Briarkit let out a pouty sound of protest and opened one eye to see Pearkit leave the nursery. She stretched out and bounded out, refusing to be anything but the center of attention. "Morning," she said cheerfully. A big yawn left her mouth.
Phantomkit cast her glance towards the she cat that had just appeared. Phantomkit recognized her immediately, as she shared sleeping quarters with the kit. "Good morning Briarkit. How are you?" Phantomkit mewed before sitting up. She finished grooming herself and gave her fur a shake.

At Briarkit's appearance, Pearkit turned his rounded eyes to her. He was surprised to see her up, but then again... he should have known she was awake. Or maybe he'd made too much noise leaving the nursery. Even with his initial hope ruined, he was happy to see her. "Morning, sis," he muttered quietly as he waited for her to respond to the other kit.
"I'm okay, but somebody woke me up early," replied Briarkit to the other she-kit, throwing a playful glance her brother's direction. He seemed awfully mopey, and naturally she had no idea that her penchant for attention could pull it away from him so rudely. She went to softly bite at his ear. "Mornin' Pearkit. Why'd you leave us? The nest got cold without you. Unless ya thought Phantomkit needed help grooming!"

Pearkit ducked his head, feeling embarrassed from the teasing. "I just wasn't sleeping very well," he stammered. "I'm sorry for waking you." At the mention of grooming Phantomkit, his head shot back up. "Actually, I think you're the one who needs help grooming!" And with that, the ginger tom playfully threw himself at his sister, tackling her to distract Briarkit from running her mouth.
Briarkit opened her mouth in fake astonishment. "Me? Need help grooming? Never!" Before she could come up with a slick comeback, Pearkit was launching himself at her. They rolled onto the floor and over into Phantomkit. Briarkit was laughing.
