Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
If the clumsy kitten were to get hurt, that probably would be not so fair news. Kerrigan would be unhappy at best if one of the kittens she'd taken under her wing ended up bruised, but, alas, Lua would look up with big eyes and say that's what happened being a kit! There was something charming about the loopy way that she spoke, it made you want to hug her. But, then again, most kittens did that; they were too much trouble not to be cute.
If it was possible to light up further when the she-cat suggested the game, Lua did. At this point, it seemed like her whole body was trembling with anticipation. Most kittens didn't have much to do with her other than her sisters, as most feared that getting on her wrong side meant getting in trouble with the Tsar. (Fortunately for most, Lua didn't have a bad side.) This meant the games she played were mostly kept to her siblings, and, well, they weren't the most fun. " Yes!" she squeaked, before racing off in that direction. It was only when she got half way through the distance that she looked back. "Do you wanna hide er seek first?"
Momo had watched Lua quickly bond off without a moment's hesitation after Momo's suggestion. The creamy she-cat couldn't help but laugh at he podarok's enthusiasm. Momo found herself wishing to be younger again, not that she was old, to begin with, but to have the boundless energy and be overflowing with excitement and wonder. Her whiskers twitched as Lua looked back at where Momo was still standing. Momo tilted her head as she thought about the question that Lua had posed. She started walking as she thought about her answer. She didn't think Lua would care which answer she picked, the viony was very confident that the poda was just happy to have someone else to play with. But, a lo fear softly burned in the pit of her stomach at the idea of Lua hiding and someone how getting lost or worse. Momo hummed softly to herself as she finally reached Lua as she also reached her decision. "You can hide first" The viony figuring that Lua would know well enough to stay in the area that Momo had pointed out and she wouldn't wander off. "I'll sit a few tail-lengths away from the hiding area, close my eyes, and count to ten fat mice while you hide. Okay?" she asked as she looked down at the kit.
"Ten fat mice is a lotta fat mice!" she purred, before nodding at her. "Ten fat mice," she repeated one more time, as if commiting it to memory. She then began to let her gaze wander around the area that Momo had marked off as a place to play. "Ready?" she then asked. However, the kitten didn't wait for an answer and soon took off. She looked back a time or two to make sure Momo had actually closed her eyes. Her nose twitched, before she found a small bush in the area. Under it was a small hole in the ground, one just big enough for the kitten. She'll never find me here! the kitten thought to herself, before pulling herself into a tight ball in the hole.
Momo had softly laughed at Lua's exclamation about the mice. She'd watched Lua look around the area scoping it out. At her question, Momo had nodded her head but Lua had already bolted. The viony laughed once again before she closed her eyes and began loudly counting down from ten fat mice. "Three fat mice, two fat mice, one fat mouse. Ready or not here I come~" as she reached the end of the countdown she reopened her eyes and rose to her paws. She approached the hiding area slowly her gaze trained on the bushes and ground searching for the kit. She circled the area a few times being extra careful so she didn't accidentally step on Lua in case Momo didn't see her. Around her second tie circling the area, she'd caught onto Lua's scent coming from a small patch of bushes. A smile forming on her face as she resumed circling the area and playfully calling out for Lua. As she circled she walked closer and closer to the bush Lua was currently using as her hiding place. She stopped just in front of the bush fairly certain that Lua would be able to see her from the position. "I wonder where Lua could be? I've searched everywhere!" she called out as she obviously looked everywhere /but/ at the bush where she knew Lua was hiding under.
The kitten twitched in anticipation. Part of her wanted to yelp out for her friend to tell her where she was. However, the kitten in her also wanted to win! Of course, she was still too young to understand that Lua was just doing what any adult cat would do for a kitten, letting them think that they were three steps ahead. Lua didn't yet understand that the older cat had probably just sniffed the air and found exactly where she was. Suddenly, her cover was blown by a big sneeze, one that seemed far too big for her small size. Her eyes widened in surprise at the sneeze, she hadn't been expected it, before her lips twitched downwards. Now Momo was going to be able to find her! Oh no!
Now while Momo new the general vicinity of where Lua was hiding. She didn't know the kit had crammed herself down into a small hole under the bush. The loud sneeze that Lua had made caused Momo to startle, her body tensing as she took a small step backwards. After it had passed, she pursed her lips. Trying her best to contain the bubbles of laughter that tried to escape. She hadn't been expecting that. She let a few moments pass before she quickly dropped herself to the ground so she could see under the bush. Her blue eyes shining as she came face to face with Lua. "Found you~" she exclaimed with a little giggle. She noted the small little frown that Lua had on her face. The viony quickly chiming in, "You had such a good spot! I would have never found you! You're a hide and seek natural, Lua!"
