"It doesn't seem like two-legs would do something like that." Desertkit said trying to reassure the older she-cat but not sounding completely sure of what he had just said, but hoping it was true.

"I was the one that asked you about it. It's my own fault for bringing bad memories." he said apologetically.

"That's true." Desertkit said with. "I know you haven't been here long but what do you think?" He asked curious what a newcomer and outsider to all clan practices would think about the clan he'd been born into.

"Yeah. Everybody is family even if you aren't related by blood." Desertkit said proudly.

"It's good that he found you and you were able to make it to SummerClan." Desertkit said with a smile. "So do you know who your mentor is going to be?"

''So many new cats join the clan without having any prior knowledge of how a clan works they have to be patient and understanding. Or at least that's what I've heard." he said. "I wouldn't know for absolutely certain since I was clan born and am still a kit but my parents were non-clan born and they always said they were treated well and taught well when they first came to the clan."

"We're known as one of the most friendly and accepting of outsiders but still also able to put up a fight and defend ourselves." he responded, taking a moment to think about it. "Our neighbors are SpringClan, who are known for being similar, WinterClan, who are known for being somewhat cold hearted, and then FallClan, although nobody has heard from them in a while apparently. But there are more clans than that."
