Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Lamb stood frozen for a moment, she couldn't believe that this newcomer was also related to their leader. It was being to seem like half the clan was. Unconfident in her position in the clan and her skills, the she-cat kept her eyes low but thought of what her mate would say. "He'd...he'd take Chimerastar's side..I think at least. You are the...the leader and he respects tha-that." She hoped that was the right answer, it was what she'd learned about belonging in a clan. That you respected and followed the leader. Beestripe had taught her much about the life of a clan cat but so had many others within said clan.
Chim nodded to Lamb, acknowledging her support, as hesitantly as it came. He was certain Beestripe would listen to him, though admittedly he didn't know the tom well at all. That was half the reason he had chosen the tom. Well, more than half, it was the main reason.
"Great, glad that's settled. Now stop coming up with ideas and just go make your nest," he told Steepfall briskly.
"Stop coming up with ideas, he says... they aren't exactly mine. More like common sense. But sure, dear leader, I'll listen to your command and go make my nest now," Steepfall was too tired to argue any longer. If Lamb's hesitant reply was any reflection on her mate, he was seriously worried about the future of SwiftClan, sheep led by more sheep. It could not end well but that wasn't his problem. He'd lived as a rogue all this time and could do it again when push came to shove. To be honest, SwiftClan life didn't seem all that different to him.
He padded off toward the nests, did exactly what he said he would do, and fell into a very deep, restful sleep.
