Jetpaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Sweet
Jetpaw stumbled forward, to where her father had only been moments before as she finally came to a stop with a big goofy grin on her face "Well have the Sun God catch my tail on fire you beat me again dad" it seemed like no matter how hard she tried she could never quite catch him off guard. Sure she could work on her stealth, but it wasn't any fun if she didn't announce her attack ahead of time. Besides it wasn't the only trick she had to show him. She moved forward pressing her nose to his cheek "It's good to see you dad" she slowly rubbed up against his side, her long tail slowly sneaking up around his and gently caressing his before wrapping around it more firmly
She leaned in letting her breathe gently tickle the fur along his neck, a move that she had paralyze more toms than one giving him a gentle lick behind his ear and nibbling at his neck seductively just like she had seen Mistyrose and Sparrowflight do, just as she got Skipstep close enough she used her backlegs aiming to knock them out from under him while using her tail as further leverage to get him on ground
Skipstep chuckled, "You did very well, you'll get there eventually-" He let his daughter in close, and was then startled when she knocked his backlegs out from under him. The tom grunted as he wound up on his side looking up at Jetpaw, blinking gray blue eyes at his daughter.
Then he let out a mrrow of laughter, "Well! Now where did you learn that?" He meowed. "I'm impressed!"

Jetpaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Sweet
Jetpaw couldn't hide her pure joy as he father praised her, a purr rumbling in her throat as she leaped onto her father's stomach as he laid on his back.laughter filling the air as she did so "In the middle of a lake..." she responded honestly blinked, "but I guess that is a story for another time" she licked his cheek proud that she had finally been able to get him off his feet with the new moves that she had been learning
Littlestar stepped to the side as Jetpaw and Skipstep started their rough housing, stay out of it due to her unborn kits. She wanted to watch, but Bloodyrondos comment caught her attention, eyes snapping back to couple "I wish you had waited, but a little to late for that now. HMMM?" she replied striding forward and put her paw on Satinlight's stomach "You really don't know what is in here?" she chuckled, as it slowly turned into a laugh "Bloodyrondo, I guess your time in DayClan did cause you to miss your lessons on queens , but I am still surprised you haven't came to the same conclusion that I have. I suppose I should start your remidiation lessons immediately. Satinlights is pregnant"

Foxbane, of course, wouldn't miss this. The she-cat, though not blood to the present cats, was as much a mother to Littlestar as the feline really had. The ex-Priestess had practically raised her, and in her own way, she showed she cared, especially lately. Even with her own pregnancy, occasionally, the Priestess would find that her nest had a few extra feathers that Skipstep certainly hadn't brought, or some of her favorite prey laying next to her nest before anyone woke up for prayers.
She never did specifically say they were from her, but that was the point, she supposed, trying to show she cared occasionally, in a way that wasn't trying to control the she-cat. It wasn't much, but it did prove that Foxbane was trying. The pregnant fox feline arrived quietly, though even now she carried with her an air of danger, and mischief wrote itself across her features. Two feathers hung from her right ear, the hope feather Glowstar had given her, and the engagement feather she'd made for herself, Funk, and Glowstar to all wear. White swirled across her fur like a raging wind as she swept up, thick coils of the color wreathing up black legs like smoke that faded into darkness.
The she-cat didn't say anything, really, just sat nearby to Littlestar, content for the moment to simply watch, though she doubted she'd go unnoticed for long. Then again, as she heard Littlestar's announcement, she supposed she might be ignored a tad longer.
"I'm what?" Satinlights flinched away from her mother's touch. She hadn't let anyone touch her there since Bloodyrondo treated her after Aconite's kitting. Fresh scar tissue streaked her under belly and occasionally, she could still feel the pain of being ripped open, and she wasn't ready for anyone to touch her there anytime soon. It did make a little sense to her, the strange fluttery feeling in her stomach she felt on occasion but, there was nothing that had tipped her off to the fact that she was expecting kits, and so soon at that. "Haha mom, very funny." There was no humor in her tone, her voice coming out very hoarse. She tried to swallow past the lump in her throat but her mouth had gone dry. She didn't look to her mate, she couldn't. She didn't want to see his reaction good or bad. Her skin burned under her pelt and she could hear her heart pounding in her chest as her mother's words sunk in. "You must be mistaken." the words came out as a plea, a little louder than a whisper.

"No, you're definitely pregnant." Foxbane drawled, finally piping up as her ivy gaze drifted to Satinlights. "Littlestar isn't joking." She shrugged, glancing at the Janus and giving her a single look, up and down, before a small, almost unnoticed nod where she seemed to confirm her statement to herself, if she wasn't already confident before, which she had been.
"Now, Littlestar, can you please tell Tinymutiny that she's pregnant. She'd rather in denial that it's all a setup. Clearly, SunClan has a trend of not believing their own medically trained parents." She mused.
"Yes, Littlestar, you must have made some mistake. If Satinlights were pregnant, I would be the first to know," Bloodyrondo said stubbornly, putting his paw on Littlestar's forearm and pushing it away from his mate. Satinlights didn't have any obvious signs of pregnancy. Her stomach wasn't swollen, her smell was no different. Sure, her mood was a bit spotty but she was still dealing with Aconite's tragic death so it made sense. She was perfectly perfect. He couldn't have gotten much closer to her if he tried she he gave her shoulder a few comforting licks, "It's ok---"
The Priest Promised hadn't noticed Foxbane presence until she went and confirmed Littlestar's statement. That's what tipped the scale for him. He could deny one healer, but two? Bloodyrondo was stupid but he wasn't stupid. He drew his muzzle away from Satinlight's shoulder and looked at her directly. She had the most stunning arctic blue eyes, they were the most beautiful eyes in all of SunClan, no, all of all of the Clans, and coincidentally they belonged to the more beautiful she-cat. His mate, "Satinlights...." He began, not wanting to be pushy here, but it was hard to mask his building excitement. Finally a smile broke out across his face as he failed to hold back, "I think... we are going to be parents! For real!" Unbridled joy didn't come easy to him, but there was no other way to describe the way he looked at his mate.
Arcticpaw watched the entire scene unfold, but as usual was half in her world and half listening. She looked up at her mom, "I'm bored, I'm going to back to my nest now."
She stood up, for once her fur seeming perfectly straight and sleek and began to walk away. For a long time there was hope that Arcticpaw was going to have a growth spurt, but at this stage it was clear she was not going to grow any taller. She was small like her mother and because she had stubby legs it made it easier for her belly to look chubby.

Sanguinerose relaxed as soon as she caught Lionpride's scent, but his rush of words instantly rocketed her back to anxious. "Mousekit is still feeling under the weather?" After the frightful awakening the other night because of the sickly little she-kit, Sanguinerose was on edge and hearing about it again only served to make her more guilty about leaving. "Maybe I should just go back. I mean, this is your family, Lionpride," she added in a whisper, not wanting to offend any of the assembled cats. "I don't really belong here and you know it. Here, let me just go back to the kits and you can relax and have a good time with your family." Her voice was strained, and it was clear that she was uncomfortable. Unconsciously, she leaned against Lionpride, as though absorbing some strength from him despite his more frail appearance after his time in the prison.

Littlestar
SunClan High Priestess
The Peace Keeper
Littlestar chuckled as the two cats began talking, remembering the first time she had told Skipstep that she was pregnant. She glanced over at Foxbane "fair enough, I will try to talk to her later this afternoon" she padded over to her mate and nuzzled his cheek knowing that this news might come as a shook to him as well. It would be his first biological grand-kits being born. However before she could say anything else, everyone's eyes were drawn to the bushes that had begun to rustle....

Lionpride
SunClan Warrior
The Loveable
Lionpride could tell that she was uncomfortable, and honestly he just wanted to get back to his kits. It was the longest he had left them since being reunited and he felt on edge with Mousekit being so sick "I understand, how about we both go? Im worried to death about Mousekit, i'm sure mom will understand" but before he could make a move, the bushes began to rustle, his muscles tensed

Silverpaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Poised
From the bushes emerged an all to familiar pelt to the little family, her long silver fur and golden eyes a clear indication that she belonged in this gathering. Her fur was fluffed out and groomed to perfection, the intricate designs painted on it had taken hours of pain staking work, probably the reason for her lateness. However, she wasn't alone. At her side was another cat not part of this family, but one that would be well known to them anyway. She walked with her head held high, striding directly over to Littlestar without giving the other cats in attendance so much as another glance "Mother, myself and Sorrowfularia have a request"

Jetpaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Sweet
Jetpaw looked up from her father, as he sister came sauntering into the family get together with Sorrowfularira at her side. She felt heat rush to her face, as she struggled to maintain her composure. What in the world was Silverpaw and Snowfularia doing here? She had thought that what was going on between Snowfularia and Silverpaw was a secret... Surely they were not doing what she thought they were doing...right?

Yellow roses, from the darkest marigold to the pale pastels were drawn in elegant fashion across the blank white canvas of their pelt, a rarity among SunClan, thin and dark gold 'vines' connecting each flower to the next, as painstaking as Silverpaw's. What could only be described as sparks were written across their cheeks, sparkling as they caught the light in a way the normal paints didn't. But Sorrowfularia wasn't about to reveal the secrets of their beauty.
Their gaze slipped to Bloodyrondo for only the briefest heartbeat as they swept forth with natural grace at Silverpaw's side, eyes shifting to Littlestar with a breezy, calm and carefree sort of smile. Light and contagious, though respectful to the Priestess as they dipped their head in greeting to the she-cat. "That we do." They agreed, their voice, deep and melodic reverberated through their chest as they spoke. "I have found that I enjoy Silverpaw's company, and I know that she feels the same way. However, we do not wish to leave you in the dark, that would be neither right, nor would it make us happy, to just sneak around."
There was no way he wasn't speaking to his brother's own actions, though his gaze never left that of Silverpaw's mother. But it seemed this particular littermate had genuine intent to go about things the right way. "Silverpaw and I request to pursue a relationship with each other, if you would allow us to do so." Certainly, the warrior was eloquent, if nothing else.
"Absolutely not," Bloodyrondo growled with conviction, abruptly getting to his feet much to Satinlights's dismay. This was going to be Bloodyrondo's new family. His new siblings, new parents and, soon, children. He'd never had a good sense of familial connections. He had always disagreed with his father and litter mates on deeply moral levels, so much so that he couldn't even have a healthy relationship with a single one of them. As much as he butted heads with Littlestar, he really did think of her as a mother, and he only felt feelings of fondness toward her family, yes, even Arcticpaw.
The news of Satinlights's pregnancy were still dissipating in the air and yet here Sorrowfularia was, ruining the moment. Bloodyrondo was not going to let them steal his thunder or his newfound family, "Do you even know anything about Silverpaw? I've never even seen you together. Besides, she's just an apprentice, it's not allowed."
"Excuse me" she dipped her head to Sorrowfularia, before turning his gaze on Bloodyrondo "but I don't remember asking you for your permission" she countered maintaining her composure and poise
"We asked my mother, the High Priestess, to give her permission before I seek out a relationship with another. It is the proper thing to do, both as her daughter and as a cat of SunClan" leaving little doubt that she had meant every word of what had been said she returned to Sorrowfularia's side, their fur brushing but still at a respectful distance
"As for it being against the rules, we are simply asking to be allowed date. Unlike some other cats that we know, we would prefer to spend the proper time getting to know one another before becoming engaged"

"I'm disappointed in you, that you're still not over your blind date with Silverpaw from moons ago. It's rather disrespectful to Satinlights an Silverpaw both, isn't it, that you seem to be trying to lay claim to all of Littlestar's daughters." That light smile never left Sorrowfularia's face, as they turned slightly to Bloodyrondo, before glancing back to the Priestess with an almost apologetic glint to their eyes. "Ah, I'm sorry, Priestess. I was hoping that my brother wouldn't try and start an argument, I shouldn't feed into it."
"I swear to Sun God I am going to skin the two of your alive if you keep spouting such nonsense," Bloodyrondo hissed, visibly enraged. As much as he hated to leave Satinlights's side after such a major revelation, he had totally lost his composure and couldn't not approach Sorrowfularia. Each pawstep he took toward his sibling was so, so dramatic, full of that textbook Bloodyrondo flare that was as endearing as it was annoying. In many ways Sorrowfularia was more difficult to deal with than Moonlitnocturne ever was and that was because they played dirtier and smarter.
"Satinlights is my betrothed and no one else even comes close to her beauty and grace. Don't you dare try and plant false ideas in her head. She's pregnant and sensitive and I will not have you bring sorrow into her life. Not now, not ever. So, if you know what's good for you, get out of here and quit trying to play prince charming. You can only wear that mask for so long before everyone realizes how ugly you really are. And Silverpaw," Bloodyrondo turned her celadon gaze to his future sister-in-law, "Stay away from him if you know what's good for you."
If she wasn't hungry before she certainly wasn't now. Any joy or excitement that she had allowed herself to feel regarding the fact that she was pregnant was tarnished as soon as Silverpaw opened her mouth to address Bloodyrondo. The retort may have been said at his expense but. It was directed at her too. She'd taken her punishment for breaking the rules, and lost a part of herself in the process. It was obvious to any cat who knew her that the janus hadn't been herself since Aconite's kitting though she was trying very hard to be okay. Now it felt as though she could never really atone for the mistakes she had made. If her own sister could still hold them over her, what was stopping her clan-mates from doing the same. Whatever light that had been in her eyes was now gone as she offered her sister a genuine smile. "Congratulations Silverpaw, I hope everything works out." She turned to dip her head respectfully to Sorrowfularia and then to her parents. "If you'll excuse me I'm not feeling very well." Her voice was hollow as she spoke, not giving anyone a chance to reply she got up and headed, not towards her and Bloodyrondo's shared den in the main camp, but to her private den in the janus camp.
