Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Giantpaw shuffled his paws awkwardly. What was wrong with this she-cat?? There had to be an issue somewhere in her bloodline making her so crazy. He was irritated with himself at this point for getting involved, especially with a cat with such mussed up genes. Regardless, he'd put himself in the middle of this and it was too late to back out. Sighing, Giantpaw looked down at the warrior. His name fit his physique, and he commented dryly, "Actually, I'm fairly certain I could drag you. You might as well just get this over with before Flamingstar gets irritated." He looked over at his leader for confirmation.
Flamingstar perked her ears and looked down at the apprentice when Giantpaw looked at her for confirmation. She gave the apprentice a curt nod, appreciating his support. "Giantpaw is right. I'd love to watch him drag you out of here."
"Well that's the only way I'm going anywhere near a raspberry bush so that's just what he's going to have to do! I never want to go by raspberries and I wish you could just not be so fixated on perfecting me all the time," Creampuff pouted, still lying as dead weight on the ground.
The family drama here was hitting close to home. Giantpaw was beginning to realize his own family may not be the most dysfunctional after all. The apprentice looked from Flamingstar down to Creampuff. He wasn't actually going to have to drag her, was he? "Creampuff," he started, gritting his teeth so he could maintain a friendly enough voice. "Why don't you make up some song about the berries to calm you down?" The tom had absolutely no idea why she had been singing earlier like a maniac, but he was willing to try anything to get her to come along with him.

Turbulentsea
NightClan Medicine Cat
The Conflicted
Turbulentsea watched the display, the only sign he was even observing was the slight twitch of his tail "You are wasting your time Giantpaw" he snapped turning towards the incline that lead out of camp. No amount of force was going to make her face her fears, it was a decision she needed to make on her own. For a moment it seemed like the tom was just outright disobeying his leaders command again "Creampuff is a afraid of raspberries, so she will never get to find the hidden treasure that Flamingstar wants us to find" he shrugged his shoulders as he began walking upwards to the top of the cenote "Now come along Giantpaw, this is going to be a dangerous mission and only the bravest of cats are allowed to accompany me. Clearly Creampuff isn't ready"
Creampuff sniffled, "Tr-tr-treasure?" She stifled, her voice just barely forming words, but the fear inside of her seemed to grip her gaze once more, "Okay then just go already!"
Flamingstar was impressed by Turbulentsea's method and it almost seemed to work. "Are you telling me that Your not brave enough, Creampuff? Hmh. Fine. I suppose I'll just have to strip you of your position as a Loyal Guard. Clearly your not cut out for it. The Loyal Guard is Only for brave and elite warriors." The expecting queen shrugged, hoping her daughter would take the bate.

Turbulentsea huffed "Fine stay, I'll keep the treasure all to myself. Or perhaps I will will find someone special to share it with along the way" he turned this time actually leaving the crest of the cenote even though his pace was slow.. If Creampuff wanted to come along then she would have to catch up. He would leave the rest in their paws, if she didn't come then he would just collect the herbs he had been planning on fetching anyway. If she came along, then Creampuff could help him carry them back. Really a win-win for him either way the situation decided to go. It wasn't like Flamingstar could sa he hadn't tried, at the very least it would get the annoying queen out of his fur for a while.
Creampuff only rolled over cuddling into herself, "Then go ahead, but truth is... When I was a really young apprentice I had this dream from StarClan and it clearly warned me to never go near any raspberries. It was more like a nightmare than a dream!" She got to her paws standing up, "So if I have to lose everything then that's what was meant to be. I know my guardian angel wouldn't lead me astray..." Her cheery nature resumed back like sunlight exploding through a thunder storm, "Besides! I have the best title of all, being your daughter," Creampuff said sweetly to Flamingstar before waving at Turbulentseas, "And you're my BFF, so do what makes you happy! Also if their super special like they can do a backflip please bring them back I KNOW it's possible!"

After coming into camp from a hunt, Nightsky had noticed a commotion going on by the medicine den. She saw their leader, medicine cats, Creampuff, and Giantpaw engaged in what looked like a heated conversation. Curious as to what was happening, she came closer to hear what was being said. After listening for awhile, the tortoiseshell stepped forward and dipped her head to Flamingstar. "I'm willing to go along to help."

Flamingstar sighed, accepting defeat. She couldn't argue with her daughter after she had been so sweet. "Fine." She mumbled at last. She turned her pearly turquoise eyes on Nightsky as the she-cat spoke. "Very well. Your welcome to go along as well. The more, the marrier. Take baskets with you. I want a lot of raspberries and any other edible berries you can find."
As Turbulentsea requested, Giantpaw began to follow. He threw a glance back as Creampuff and Flamingstar spoke, but continued walking with the medicine cat. The apprentice stopped again as a warrior entered the picture. Nightsky was offering to accompany them. The gray Persian retraced his steps so he could help the she-cat grab some baskets.

Turbulentsea
NightClan Medicine Cat
The Conflicted
Turbulentsea sighed "suit yourself. While your collecting raspberries,I will be collecting herbs" he flicked his tail as he grabbed his own basket that he had made just for gathering herbs. It was a little woven backed her could wear around his neck with special organizing compartments to keep her herbs separate and his paws free. Luxkily there would be an abundance of herbs close by the raspberries, so that they could acomplish both tasks. "I'm not going to waste my time gathering something so useless" his tail lashed as he lead the other two cats out into the territory towards the raspberry fields.
The black and white tom settled himself down under one of the raspberry bushes to look for words when a sharp bark reached his ears and a dog came rushing out from the undergrowth. Knowing he was to far from a tree to reach it in time, he crouched den pressing himself further into the bush as it caught it's sent. The mongrel lifted its head letting out a long loud howl as it caught their scent and headed straight towards them
The barking was so loud, it echoed into the cavern. Flamingstar had settled herself on her throne, her growing belly buldging out on both sides. As soon as the barking reached her ears, Flamingstar immediately became alert as her heart leaped into her throat. Dogs! "Dogs!" She shouted, shooting to her paws. "Creampuff, Tigerlilly, Echomelody. Follow me!" The leader attempted to rush toward the exit of the cavern when she was intercepted by Echomelody.
"Wait! Flamingstar, I advise you not to go out there and put your kits at risk." Her round, green eyes pleaded the Nightclan leader not to do it.
Flamingstar was about to object but deep down, she knew it was a terrible idea to face dogs while pregnant. With a sigh of defeat, she waved on her warriors, hanging back in the cavern and watched them disappear up the winding path.
Giantpaw's blood ran cold when he heard the howl. He dropped his basket and took a reflexive step back. The apprentice looked around him. It was just him, Nightsky, and Turbulentsea. He felt true fear for the first time in his life, but this was no time for cowardice. Giantpaw clenched his teeth against his emotions and moved in front of where Turbulentsea had dived under the bush, standing in front of it protectively. He wasn't trained enough for this, but he confidently turned to Nightsky. "Should we sent Turbulentsea back to camp to get more warriors? We could stay and distract the dog." Giantpaw was unaware that more cats were on the way, and he was running on pure adrenaline now.

"No, dogs like to chase running creatures," Nightsky replied. "It would charge after him." She looked at the bush. "Get under here with me. We can defend this opening." She wanted to make sure they protected the medicine cat. "If it comes too close, swipe at the end of it's nose or it's eyes. Those are very sensitive spots for dogs. But watch out for it's teeth." She backed under the bush so she could face outwards. She felt light scratches as she crawled under. "These sharp thorns will help us too."
Giantpaw copied Nightsky, paying close attention to the warrior's advice. He scooted himself under the bush as far as he could but he still stuck out quite a bit. Nose and eyes, he repeated to himself. Swipe at the nose and eyes. And please, he begged fate, don't let the dog bite him. Giantpaw was extremely tense and he held his breath, waiting for the worst to happen.
Echomelody led the small party of warriors to where they had heard the dogs barking. "Quick! It sounds like it's coming from the raspberry patch! That's where Giantpaw, Nightsky, and Turbulentsea went!" The black and white she-cat called over her shoulder to the other warriors. "We need a plan when we get there! Any ideas?" She panted as she continued to run.

"How about if we fan out and surround the dogs?" Rainfrost asked. "That way we could attack from all directions." She knew that could disconcert an enemy and make the attacking party look bigger.
Nightsky smoothed out some of Giantpaw's long fur that was stuck in a few thorny branches. "See if you can move in farther." Then she moved forward so the apprentice wouldn't be so vulnerable to an attack.
Creampuff's amber eyes widened at the sound of the hounds and lurched after Echomelody, "They couldn't have gotten far," She said, although it wasn't meant to be comforting. Turbulentseas, Nightsky, and Giantpaw had only just left, which meant the dogs were far too close to camp. She closed her eyes and took a moment to breathe. Think, where is the nearest raspberry bush that you avoid. Her eyes flashed open as she turned and ran in another direction, "They're this way!"
Creampuff wasn't incredibly strong and given her reaction in camp she wasn't exactly the most endurable type to take on hard situation, but she did have an unbelievable amount of speed in her. "Turbulentseas, Giantpaw, Nightsky!" She called out as she headed in the direction of the raspberry bushes.
