Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
PLEASE READ: In this gathering Glowstar announces that the forest clans woods are enchanted. For some context, Sun, Moon, and Day have had many supernatural occurrence plots, so members of these clans are likely no stranger to believing it, however Night has not experienced these things. It's your cats job to react and take stances as the leaders discuss, they can also gossip to other clan cats.
This is a trial run that will last for two in a half months, afterwards there will be a vote on whether to keep it.

Unlike most gatherings where the leaders slowly filed in with their clans each forest clan met at the same time to the gathering. The gathering place wasn't appealing, the grass was dry and dead and the earth had large cracks that kits could fall through and the trees surrounding were either all burnt to a crisp or were burned on one side. It was damage from the apocalypse between SunClan and DayClan when they were attacked by the Sun God's creations, Bluejay and Pandora. They had burned everything down and any traces of water in the gathering space weren't pure, but gunky and polluted.
There was no socialization as every leader had leapt up onto the tree. It was no secret that the ForestClan cats held more clan rivalries than MountainClan's or Revolution Group's. DayClan vs NightClan and SunClan vs MoonClan, but tonight there was a strange calmness in the air. The DayClan leader looked over the crowd and stepped forward on her branch with some uncertainty. The trees wood was rotted and all it would take was one bad storm for their tree to become a fallen one.
"Members of ForestClan's I have gathered you all to speak about the supernatural occurrences that have been transpiring rampantly. We have all known about the Sun God and Moon Goddesses power, but I believe that because these deities have more followers than ever that their power is growing and it is affecting the entire forest. Not only this, but the affect it has on us cats. We have always known that some cats can see ghosts, but in the Forest Clans? We have cats who have been experimented on by two-legs and have enhanced senses and skills, we have cats BORN with an innate gift. I call cats like these Elementals and they're more common here than in any other clan group. Cats who are gifted, who are elementals, they need to be contained, we need to work together and cover ground rules," Glowstar said firmly and looked out hopefully into the crowd hoping that no one would think she's crazy. Glowstar stirred her paw with uncertainty, "Who's with me!?" She cried out enthusiastically as though she were organizing a pep rally.
DAYCLAN "How about no?" Wanderingwight usually didn't show up to gatherings. But by now, why did she care? Funk hadn't killed her for being both a League Proxy and a DayClan Bright Brigade cat, and even he wasn't stupid enough to not notice that. Especially now. "Since when are you the rule maker anyway? How about we just sit back and watch what happens." As per usual, the heavily scarred feline drawled out her answer, looking rather bored as she spoke to her mother. She usually wasn't the type to speak up, but hey, she was bored enough for it today. Besides, what better way to start out a Gathering than a disagreement? Maybe it would turn out interesting.
SUNCLAN Foxbane, of course, was going to agree with her fiancee. Then again, the ex-Priestess was the queen of making rules restrictive enough to assert control, but with more than enough loopholes for her to weed through. "What kind of rules are we talking?" She shouted back to Glowstar, a devious sort of smirk written across her features. Naturally, the rules would be intended to contain cats like her, well, like her when she'd been Priestess and wielded the Sun God's power ruthlessly. She'd shown no sign of keeping any remnant of those abilities now that she'd stepped down, but then again, did she ever really need them?
Bloodyrondo couldn't help but feel partially responsible for all of this. After all, he had upset the fragile balance established after the Apocalypse by stealing both Pandora and Bluejay's powers for himself. It was also true that the Sun God's followers had exponentially grown over the past several moons so he had to admit Glowstar had a point as well. It was impossible to tell, however, if he was one of the affected cats seeing as his present God status was borrowed. Perhaps the amulet around his neck was some sort of amplifier that strengthened what already existed within him? He sure hoped so, as much as he wished it to be true he know this necklace would not be his forever.
"How these Elementals, as you call them, should be handled is each individual Clan's decision. While some Clans may encourage these abilities to be used with little restriction or consequences," He gave Glowstar a hard look, he didn't believe for a second that she was actually going to enforce any rules, let alone these new ones she herself was proposing, "other Clans, like SunClan, will be in total control of theirs. If a DayClan Elemental acts up then that's DayClan's problem."
An elegant, yet, powerful figure emerged from the shadows wearing a pelt of fire and a pair of intense pearl-like turquoise eyes that swirled like waves on the ocean. A leafy crown was wrapped around her head, making her look majestic and royal. She followed the other leaders, keeping her head high and her eyes narrowed. She climbed her way up onto the precarious burnt tree. Seriously? This was where they were meant to meet? As she took her place, Glowstar took the lead in the announcement. As the Dayclan leader went on, a look of confusion and amusement crossed her expression. A chuckle came from behind Glowstar, interrupting the opinions of the other clan, echoing throughout the clearing and making the crowd of cats silent. "I believe Dayclan has sniffed too much catnip recently." The Nightclan leader spoke. Though her voice was full of humor, there was a slight edge to it.
"Glowstar, has Sunclan finally got into your head? This is a load of mouse dung. Your telling me that you think the forest is magic? Okay, now we know leadership has finally done you in. You've officially lost your marbles." Her eyes went from Glowstar to the rest of the crowd. "This is crazy. I can't believe I was called all this way to discuss something so preposterous. It's even more shocking that some of you believe this!"
Dayclan
Windchaser had attended the gathering. She tried to convince Glowstar that having a discussion over this was not going to end well. She didn't want to see her leader be seen as crazy but Glowstar had insisted. As Windchaser listened on, she heard some uncertain whispers in the crowd but before she could hear anything that indicated that some cats might agree, Flamingstar spoke up. The ginger and white immortal council member bristled as Flamingstar began to belittle and humiliate Glowstar in front of all the forest clans. Had Nightclan really been so blind and sheltered to not see the powers that other cats were being possessed with? It blew her mind that Nightclan would be so oblivious to the rest of the forest. It made sense, though. They lived their lives in darkness and fog and rarely associated with the other clans unless it was battles and wars.
This wasn't the introduction to the other forest clans he had been expecting but, he supposed it was good as any. Killing two birds with one stone sort of thing... or three in this case. The white and black tom sat on his branch, the one lowest to the ground, trying not to look nervous as his claws drug into the bark as tight as he could manage. Despite being absolutely terrified of being in this darn tree he kept his usual smirk on his face, his amber eyes glistening. Cats seeing ghosts was something he was more than familiar with but, the rest was news to him. "Slow down.... Greenstar? was it? I'm sorry If I got your name wrong but, what's the issue here?"
SUNCLAN
Satinlights was sitting as close to her mate as she could without looking like a terrified kit. She didn't take kindly to being exposed under the light of the full moon. The Janus couldn't help but feel as if this could be some kind of trap, she wasn't sure how but she couldn't shake the feeling of uneasiness that washed over here as she was bathed in the light of the full moon, making her white pelt seem to glow. Ignoring the flippant comment made by her priest promised, she just watched with wide eyes as the other leaders started speak up.

Unlike her daughter, even in the darkness of the night Littlestar stood like a raging inferno looking out over the gathered cats from her perch. The magnificent painted designs on her pelt specifically design to accentuate her features under the moonlight, and take advantage of her naturally silver long fur to outline the flames that swirled up her legs peaking in a fire symbol emblazoned upon her forehead. She had remained quiet through Glowstar's speech, but as Flamingstar criticized Glowstar she stepped forward to speak her own opinion "For those of you that have doubts in what Glowstar has spoken, take a moment and look around you. This land is a clear example of what could happen when an elemental looses control" she allowed her gaze to float over to Flamingstar, challenging her to try and refute the evidence that surrounded them "SunClan will deal with our own elementals, but I do agree that ground rules between the forest clans should be established. If these powers continue to grow, mere borders won't be able to stop them"
"So, it must be you, Littlestar, filling Glowstar with all these fantasies. Or perhaps, by pure coincidence, you both have gone insane." Flamingstar mewed with a casual slow blink as she tilted her head toward the Sunclan leader. "I do not care what 'evidence' you all have mustered up. This is too much crazy, even for me."
"I mean I think it's an improvement, but y'know, when do I get thank-you's?" Bluejay mumbled, after all she was the one that desecrated the ForestClan gathering space.
Fuzzyheart rubbed his temples listening to MoonClan leader, "She said the forests magic and we should make rules," The DayClan warrior said simply, although in his head was wondering how the guy managed to tune out the entire introduction of what this meeting was about. First tip of being a slacker is the most important information is at the start and end.
Glowstar's gaze was cold, it looked right through Bloodyrondo, Bluejay, and Senescence like for the first time they weren't misunderstood angels. But the darkness that swirled in her icy stare it was darker than death and colder than space. Instead she turned away, looking into the shadowy horizons responding to Littlestar and ignoring Flamingstar, she was invited out of moral decency and little else. "An element that is out of control is every cats problem. A leader will of course will be the first to try and control the situation, but if an element is too powerful and has gone rogue it is every cats job to eliminate the threat or it will consume all of us. Bluejay and Pandora attacked DayClan and SunClan and it took all of us working together to stop it. I propose that if an elemental becomes too wild for the leader to handle we all must unite to stop the threat."
NIGHTCLAN
Tigerlily's entire jaw had dropped open in shocked pity for the DayClan leader, enchanted forests?
Ratnest/ Kotori mouthed wow before grinning at Flamingstar, "Honestly I just feel sorry for Glowstar at this point, clearly her poor clan is too charmed that they get their way as is and don't want to force her into the elders den. Although Littlestar's no surprise, we always knew the rest of our neighbors were brainwashed cultists."
DAYCLAN Pandora narrowed her eyes at Glowstar's expression. Generally, she preferred the she-cat over Foxbane, but she didn't like the way her mother was looking at Bluejay one bit, and she stepped in closer to her sister. "Maybe we should even it out." The she-cat suggested, glancing at the trees that weren't destroyed. "Perhaps they don't appreciate the lack of symmetry."
Senescence, for her part, simply raised a brow at her mother. The Proxy had no disillusions of her own darkness, and she didn't particularly care what her mother thought. Or at least, if she was affected by the cold look, it certainly didn't show. She found it rather interesting that Glowstar was proposing these ideas, however. The queen of chaos, proposing rules to keep cats in line. No matter what she came up, she'd be hard pressed to have Wanderingwight following them. It simply wasn't in the Eerie's nature to bend to any rules except when she was too lazy to bother breaking them.
NIGHTCLAN Ahava Vairocana leaned back, watching this with amusement, but offering nothing. If Flamingstar wanted to believe that such things didn't exist, that was her prerogative, and the Medicine Cat Apprentice wasn't about to go breaking her view of things by announcing she was wrong. She'd find out soon enough. Really, the she-cat was more concerned with watching Senescence while the DayClan she-cat wasn't paying attention. After all, Cana would know her own mother anywhere, and based on her attitude, it seemed that the source of her powers was likely inherited, if she had a guess. Interesting, and perhaps she'd mull it over later.
SUNCLAN Faith @samiam racer Bloodyrondo felt Satinlight tense up against him and rubbed his cheek against hers to help calm her down. He was used to sitting with the rest of the Clans's leadership but this was Satinlights's very first gathering as a Janus. There was also the fact that this gathering dealt had to do with the scariest thing of all, the unknown. He was no stranger to these unique abilities and had been dealing with them in DayClan for the last few weeks but it was easy to forget how scary this could be to a cat who didn't have a background in them, "It'll be okay, I'll protect you from all of this, you don't need to worry." He said quietly to his mate before raising his voice in response to what Glowstar had said. Like flipping a switch, he went from a warm kindling to a blaze, "Oh, so you want to know you have the rest of the Forest Clans at your beck and call to come save your tail when one of you kits loses control and you don't want to be the one to resolve the issue?" The look he gave her was stern and read: Just like I have to do in DayClan already? "If SunClan has to deal with one of your problem children, then they should be forced to Initiate. It's only fair. Right, Littlestar?"
MOONCLAN Levee's gaze bounced around from cat to cat as each one spoke in turn, his ear twitched in irritation but, the amused smirk never left his expression. It sounded like his neighbors had a lot going on, well most of them. the flame colored she cat seemed just as hesitant as he did. "With all do respect Glowstar I fail to see how this is a problem for MoonClan, or NightClan for that matter." His amber eyes flicked to the very vocal ginger tom that seemed to be speaking for all of his clan despite the fact that he was clearly not their leader. "I don't know the full story here but, does this cat have a point?"
"Bloody, even if there was some strained logic in what we're talking about, there's a million bigger issues we need to deal with than you getting petty to impress a girl. And yes... You... MoonClan leader, I'm sorry you never introduced yourself, hi I'm Glowstar, really nice to meet you. But my concern does affect you, we're in close proximity, if elements aren't in your clan already they will over time. If the other clans knew about this they might try to conquer our lands to use the enchanted forests power or try to steal our kits in hopes they get an elemental. We have to all be on board to make this forest safe for everyone because if even one clan is left out we're all in trouble," Glowstar explained, but added, "Also I haven't had the chance to really talk to you, but if you want to hangout after this gathering and chat more I'd be all for it. Kind of feel bad that this is my first impression where I'm just like, hey welcome to ForestClan leadership, we're all screwed! so sorry about that..."
Flamiingstar's whiskers twitched in amusement as Ratnest/Kotori hinted on Glowstar's age. "Then I guess the rest of you are in pretty big trouble." Flamingstar spoke again. "Glowstar, I don't know what this is. Either it's time for you to move to the elders den or this is just a lousy attempt to get attention. Whatever it may be, you need to leave Nightclan out of this. I will not have my subjects be brainwashed by your delusions nor Littlestar's." Her calm gaze turned to the Sunclan leader. "I did have high hopes for you, Littlestar, but it seems like you're becoming more like Foxstar with each passing day. The stress of being a leader overwhelming you? Or perhaps your marriage isn't going so well? Are you seeking attention, too, because you aren't getting any at home?" A nasty smirk spread across her scarred face.
Leviathan blinked slowly, first at the very winded statement made from Glowstar, only to immediately catch the insults Flamingstar was throwing at the SunClan and DayClan leaders. It was clear to him that most of the cats present didn't know how to have a civil conversation. Finally the smirk slipped from his expression being replaced with a small frown. "This fighting is irrelevant to the topic at hand, Glowstar if would be so kind as to please continue.." the tom gestured to her with a sweep of his fluffy black and white tail.
SUNCLAN
Satinlights' mouth fell open in shock, her fear immediately burning away being replaced by anger as she locked eyes with Flamingstar. Her soft fur bristling slightly, as she rose to her paws. "My parents marriage is great you miserable shrew!"
SUNCLAN Faith @samiam Spot Bloodyrondo's fur bristled when Glowstar called him out for trying to impress his girl, "I've always spoken my mind with you, Glowstar. Just because my mate is with me today doesn't change how I feel about your mouse-brained logic." He then turned his celadon eyes to Flamingstar and readied another retort only or Satinlights to beat him to the punch. It was so cute how she stood up for her mother like that but it seemed a little... childish, perhaps? He would have probably said that exact same thing when he was her age, but he didn't want to hold onto the thought for too long, it made him feel uneasy, you know, how young she was and all, "Yeah, what Satinlights said! It really is ironic coming from you of all cats. Things must be pretty bad between you and your kits's father for you to not even publicly recognize him."
She looked disgusted with the whole situation, the kind of disgusted that was able to pass through into her gaze. This was rare; generally, she was incredibly collected. However, this was a conversation that was not right. Cats with magical powers shouldn't exist. They were sinful, the kind of sinful that made her stomach turn. There was no way powers so strong could ever be used for good. Avette had particular ideas for what happened to cats who did harm instead of good. But, those thoughts would have to wait.
Her gaze turned to Bloodyrhondo, and the feline found herself picking a fight with someone she probably shouldn't. However, what could she say. She was still Primal Instinct at heart, and she'd grown fond over MoonClan's annoyance with SunClan. Even before she had joined the group, she had fostered a particular distaste for SunClan herself, and this just happened to be the first time she showed it. This was probably a bad idea, but she had heard this tom was deeply involved in whatever malarkey this was.
"None of your incessant chatter is necessary," she meowed in the coldest tone that Levee had probably ever heard her use. "I suggest you cease your rambling so that whatever ... issue we have in the forest can be solved."
She then turned to the others. "If these cats exist, and I do mean if, their existence is a calamity. If cats like that really do exist, you can't control a cat who has that kind of power, no matter the kind. Any measures taken to prevent the inevitable are simply delaying what we all know is to come." She paused for a moment, memories flashing across her gaze. She knew all too well that some were not meant to be controlled. "If they put the forest at risk, and can do this," she motioned to the physical damage done to the gathering place, "I don't understand why containment is even desirable. Why wouldn't we move to eliminate such creatures, just as we eliminate all threats?"
It wasn't her place to speak, and the MoonClan Archbishop understood this. Yet, the words fell out of her mouth, and for a moment, her control was lost.
"My apologies for my own bluntness," she then said after a pregant pause, "I just am unclear why our priority should not be protection of the lives that stand no chance against the supernatural at all costs."
Flamingstar's smirk turned to Satinlights. "Sure. Sure." That was her only answer before her thoughts were interrupted by Bloodyrhondo's rude comment. Her smirk faded into a look of pure bewilderment. She hadn't even told her clan that she was expecting. It was either becoming obvious, now, or she had a spy inside her own clan. "Welp. The Pearl is out of the oyster now. It's true. I am expecting. But you need to leave my kits out of this, Bloodyrhondo." She warned with a growl. "I'm not the one talking of magical cats and forests. I have not lost my mind." Her gaze was as cold as ice and she had to suppress a snarl. "Besides. Nothing is wrong between me and the father. I have just chosen not to discuss it. Unlike Glowstar and Littlestar, I do not wish to bring attention to myself."
Glowstar nodded to Levee, taking not that he still hadn't introduced himself. She was about to open her mouth when Bloodyrondo spoke up, however Avette was quick to shut him down, "Those are all good points, but allow me to level with priest promise first." Glowstar turned around to look at Bloodyrondo, "Bloodyrondo, we are having an adult conversation, you are welcome to participate, but I expect you to respect everyone here. If you can't, we'll ignore you."
With that Glowstar looked back to Avette, "You're right, it's inevitable that we won't be able to control an elemental and that it would be better to eliminate the problem entirely. However you can't eliminate the grand majorities humanity. These elementals can be born to normal families or even you can be turned into one. A simple solution isn't going to solve this complicated issue. You can always do witch hunting later, anyways. In the mean time we should come up with rules to coexist in case you're idea to destroy all the elementals doesn't pan out.
(My E key is failing me and I have to stab it to work so my replies are going to be a bit short now xD)
When were these cats going to start taking him seriously?! Bloodyrondo was so, so tempted to reveal his element and make a scene so they knew to respect him, but he resisted the urge and thought himself a better person because of it. Of course, his element wouldn't work here anyway, but he wasn't thinking of that. He shot Avette a seething glare but focused his attention on Glowstar because her words had hurt him more. He actually liked DayClan's leader on a personal level despite how much he hated her policies, "Funny, I've been feeling pretty ignored from the very beginning of this gathering. It is too early to put rules in place for something that we don't even fully understand. Avette and Flamingstar are so dense that they don't even believe that there is a problem anyway. I say let them live in ignorance. If DayClan wants to help them then DayClan can, but SunClan can look after itself, we have nothing to gain and everything to loose from signing an elemental pact with the rest of you." He turned his eyes to Littlestar, expecting her to back him up.
MOONCLAN Wisp watched the proceedings with narrowed eyes, her expression giving little away. Her breathing had picked up when Glowstar mentioned cats 'seeing ghosts', assuming the leader somehow knew about her and would expose and humiliate her in front of all of the forest clans, but fortunately that never happened and so she fought to keep her head down and not draw attention. Her leader, as at odds as they might be, was the only level-headed cat speaking at the moment which filled her with pride. The rest of the leaders were squabbling like kits, and yet Levee stood head and shoulders above the rest, seeming to radiate the grace of the Goddess with every word his spoke. Then the Archbishop spoke, and Wisp's ears pressed to her head. Avette would kill her without a second though? When all she'd suffered her entire life was a curse on her but no one else? Her lips drew back in a silent snarl, prepared to defend herself from even the Archbishop if she had to.
Cinderwraith did not have her sister's restraint, however, and loudly challenged Avette. "You had better watch what solutions you suggest, Archbishop," she mewed, anger flickering in her eyes. "You might end up killing someone you love, just because they happen to hold this power. You will be surprised how many cats you call friends or family are 'Elementals'." Cinderwraith had been born under the Alder Moon, just like her sister, and had been gifted the ability to see lost souls and guide them to a peaceful afterlife. She had never considered herself an elemental, however, but just assumed she had been gifted the sacred duty by Selene. She knew there were others in her clan like her, and the thought of being killed for having been blessed by the Goddess filled her with defensive rage.
SUNCLAN Sanguinerose had been hesitant to leave her kits behind, but knew that this wasn't something she could miss. If the dirty cats from MoonClan would be there, she would go to protect her Priestess and Priest Promised if anything went awry. She winced when Flamingstar began to insult her Priestess and clan, feeling each insult like a lash onto herself. Her non-combative nature warred with her desire to stand up for those she loved, and now that she had tentatively been accepted into Littlestar, Lionpride, and Satinlight's family, she would not allow any ill to be spoken of them. Hesitantly, she raised her voice as well. "Flamingstar, I understand you might be uncomfortable with the idea, but resorting to insults makes you no more mature than my moon-old kits. Can't we try for some civility? For the sake of all of those here tonight?"
