Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
After ensuring Skypaw had started his meal, Lightkit scarfed down her own breakfast. She hadn't let the taste linger and had instead eaten to ease the hunger in her stomach, but now that she was halfway through, she was beginning to feel full. Her eyes had perhaps been bigger than her belly because there was no way she was going to be able to finish this vole.
Lightkit listened to Skypaw as she fed. She forced herself to finish every bite, and when she felt it in her throat, she managed to keep the food down. Lightkit knew she was going to have a stomachache after this, but it served her right for being such a glutton.
A gray warrior made his way over to the two young cats, and Lightkit sat up quickly to show her respect. On her best behavior? That seemed like her cue to return to the nursery. As the tom left, Lightkit looked over at Skypaw with a big grin on her brown face. Her expression mirrored his own.
"You were right!" Lightkit was thrilled, but her stomach felt like she'd swallowed stones. Sleeping was beginning to weigh on her mind more heavily than conversation. "I'm going to go back to the nursery. I'm sure my mother needs something. But... I hope to see you around later. I'll be Lightpaw next time I do, so don't forget!"
Brandishing her tail around in a wave, the kit scampered back to the nursery. It was time for her last nap with her mother before the next phase of her life began.
_ ooc; yeah this post can end the thread and we can start another c: if you wanna join in with another mentor/apprentice pair or if Lightpaw joins Skypaw and some of the other apprentices, we could do that as well!
