Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Windyhurricane had a necklace of crystals wrapped around his neck, a present hopefully for his very alive mother. Wispykit had decided to tag along with him and since it was a long trip she road on his shoulders. It was easy to get comfy when his fur was as thick as a wolves and his broad large WinterClan body allowed her to rest peacefully instead of worrying about hanging on. That and his fur was full of tons of interesting things in it!
The grey tom stopped at the border and stepped closer to it giving the grass a sniff to see if anyone passed by recently. It was better to wait somewhere where the borders weren't recently patrolled or else they likely wouldn't come by as fast. This scent was old enough though for someone to come around. "Wispykit, I just want you to know that... That she's going to be awesome, of course. Like she is the coolest cat you'll ever meet. She earned all these crystals from her work as an alchemist and witch. She's basically like a professional healer and I don't know magic sorcerer person."
What he was leaving out was the possibility that Mistyveil was dead, but even he couldn't say the possibility of it out loud. He was certain he would cry if he did, he loved his parents and his family, but his mom being dead was something he couldn't handle.
Wispykit was a very practical young lady. Despite how resistant she had been to her father when they had first met, she had gotten really close to him, so close in fact that when she saw him exit camp with that fancy crystal necklace she was afraid that she would lose him again. So, she had tagged along - actually she begged to come with - for if he was going to get into trouble she was going to be there to help get him out of it. The little silvery gray she-cat did that all the time with the other kits in SummerClan... but never with an adult. Windyhurricaine had a childish, almost air-headed quality to him that made her think her presence could only help, not hinder. Or so that is what she told herself to justify leaving home without first telling Stormgazer where she was going.
"Dad, are you sure she's in SunClan? I thought you were from the mountains," Wispykit asked, her fur a little bit fluffed up but her voice was even. She continued to work at the cocklebur at the base of her father's neck. She'd been pulling all kinds of strange things out of his shaggy gray pelt throughout this trip but this one was putting up the biggest fight. Oh well, at least it kept her mind off unpleasant topics, such as the fact that they were literally trying to visit a kit-stealing cult. Wispykit wanted to believe that her father would protect her but she couldn't shake the feeling of unease that this was a very, very bad idea. Still, her little heart beat against Windyhurricane's back with excitement. She'd only ever heard the most delightful things about her grandmother, Mistyveil, and would be lying to herself if she said she didn't want to meet her.
"Do you think she can use magic to get this burr out of your fur? I'm afraid that's the only way it's ever gonna get out at this rate."
"Littlestar was your grandmothers best friend, I know if she was in trouble she would have gone straight to SunClan," Windyhurricane said, as confident as he always was. He tipped his head back at Wispykit's question, "I think she could use magic to get any burr out, but she would probably think it's a waste of magic and not do it," He supposed.
"O-m-gosh, what even the heck are you? Is that a head growing out of your back, EW!" Autumngossamer exclaimed staring at the horrifying being in front of her. From her perspective angle she could only see Wispykit's head along Windyhurricane's back and given how their fur colors mixed she blended perfectly in with him. With all the weird protruding sticks, moss, feathers, leaves, and pebbles stuck clinging to his fur he looked something of a monster.
"Uhhh, I'm Windyhurrricane! And this is my daughter Wispykit, we're looking for my mother Mistyveil," He explained, unable to stop staring at Autumngossamer. Being in WinterClan there just weren't really any orange colored cats. Seeing Autumngossamer was... Was really seeing a ginger for the first time. There were a few in SummerClan, but it was still hard to get over how unique their fur color was.
Her thoughts had been going dark again and since her mother had left to join Sunclan, Aspenmountain had lost the one person she could talk to about it; deciding she could no longer wait she made the long trek to Mistyroses new home from Winterclan. The further she got from the snow the more she felt the effects of the heat against her thick fur, but she kept going until she came to the border, her paws stopping as three voices rang in her ears and the name Mistyveil standing out among the chatter. "It seems you and I are here for the same reason." She stepped out, her half white half golden honey face brightening in the suns light. She wasnt sure who this tom was, but if she heard right they had the same mother.

Toots
SunClan Initiate
The Unrelenting
It wasn't all that surprising to find that Toots had been struggling with her new duties. She had become so restless, having to lay still for hours upon hours so that her newborns could feed. For the active she-cat her stay in the nursery was akin to torture. She wasn't allowed to train, rough house, or even go hunting. Finally she had wore down Mistyrose's nerves enough to allow her to at least go out for a stroll around the territory, with the caveat that if she didn't return before sun-high that she would be punished.... Toots, determined to make the most of the time had broke into a full run towards the border, happy to just be out of the suffocating nursery and out in the fresh air.
It was then that a familiar scent on the breeze caught her attention. She hadn't seen Windyhurricane in a long time.... not since he had left WinterClan. A grin began to spread across her face, as she picked up speed. Giving him little time to react she hurled herself at full speed toward him, not seeing the kit perched on his back "BROTHER"
Windyhurricane's ratnest of a tail stood up straight at the appearance of his sister, "Aspenpaw, it's so good to see you, no wait you gotta be-"
He turned in time to see Chickadeepaw running at him. Gripping onto Wispykit he tossed her up in the air right as Chickadeepaw ambushed him into the ground as his daughter safely landed on top of her aunt. He gave her a big fat puppy dog kiss along the cheek, "Chickadeepaw! Wow, you guys are all here, Wispykit, these are your aunts. Wow, what are your warrior names?" He exclaimed from the ground looking between his two sisters. When their mother got sick he had last told WinterClan he was going out again to find her herbs with Barrenfrost accompanying him and neither of them had ever returned. Given it was blizzard season many just assumed the worst. For a long time he had been lost in the forested mountains, but since coming out he found Stormgazer had their kits and that his parents had left with his younger brother for SunClan. Things felt stable in SummerClan though so he felt he could finally have time to check in and make sure his mom survived her sickness. However being in the isolated mountains he really didn't know too much about SunClan and being forgiving and naive he didn't judge them for their pious and militant attitude that exhibited at gatherings.
Wispykit's fur fluffed up at the sight of Autumngossamer and tripled by the time she saw Toots. She was cautious she-cat and everything was happening so fast around her that she felt like she was losing control of the situation. Well, to be fair, she was. The gray she-kit extended her claws into the burr on her father's back and used it to anchor herself as he twisted and turned to great each newcomer. It was all for naught, however, when Windyhurricaine tossed her - and that burr, for the record - up in the air. She let go of her prize and caterwauled as she flailed aimlessly for something, anything, to steady herself, only to find relief on the back of the strange calico that was Toots.
"OH STARCLAN! Let me down, let me down!" She whined but couldn't quite find a good place to jump from; while Toots wasn't as large as her father, she was still high enough up to make Wispykit think twice about jumping down on her own. She didn't mean to but she had dug her claws deep into her unwitting stead's back.

Toots pressed her nose to her brother's cheek grinning like something hilarious had passed between them before taking a step back. It was only once the she-kit on her back started screaming that she even seemed to notice her. With her high pain tolerance she hardly even felt the she-kit's claws even though little pinpricks of blood had formed, She twisted her head around "Oh well hello there... How did you get all the way up there?" she chuckled taking a step back to let her brother to her paws before realizing her sister was here as well "Well it was Chickadeecarol, but since coming to SunClan they have decided to call me Toots" she shrugged, lowering herself down into a bow so that the little kit could jump off of her back "Moms name is Mistyrose now, she back at camp nursing her kits and mine so that I could take a stroll"
Wispykit didn't waste any time clambering down her aunt's back, and she hurriedly placed herself between her father's front paws. Despite the fact that her ears were pinned to the back of her head and her mouth slightly open to display her deadly fangs, the little gray she-kit was absolutely adorable. She had a moderate amount of fluff that twisted and tangled in on itself much the same way her father's did. Unlike Windyhurrcaine's fur, however, hers was meticulously groomed, the faint waves making it look much more wind-blown and sophisticated than her father's ragamuffin pelt.
"Hello Toots..." She said to Toots as she began to calm down. Everything was moving at a more manageable pace and she felt safe next to her father. Wispykit wasn't quick to place trust in strangers, though, so she she had a wary expression on her face and her tail between her legs.
It had taken her sister telling brother for all the pieces to click in her mind, how could she not recognize him, even though it had been some time since they last saw each other; she side stepped when her sister ran up and barreled into windyhurricane, a hint of a smile playing across her lips. "Its been too long, I'm Aspenmountain now." As Toots calmed down she walked up to her brother and pressed her forehead against his shoulder for a moment, it was rare now that she showed such tender emotions but they were her family. Aspenmountain turned to Wispykit next and lowered her head, she didn't interact well with them most of the time. "Hi there."
Wispykit put her nose to Aspenmountain's and gave her a few good sniffs before deciding that she, too, was no longer a threat. She visibly relaxed although her fur was still just a little bit prickly. This adventure had seemed like so much fun but now that there were so many cats around her she was starting to think hat she had gotten in over her head. Regardless, she gave her WinetrClan aunt a little nod of approval, "Nice to meet you, Aspenmountain."
Windyhurricane got to his paws nuzzling each of his sisters, "We came here looking for mom actually. I just wanted to check in and make sure she's okay, oh and I haven't seen Crystalhaven either so if she's here too I want to see her as well," He said before giving a few reassuring licks across his daughters cheek for comfort. Suddenly he was feeling hot, in SummerClan it was easier for his long fur to stay cooled off because of the beach water and mud, but here it was just burning him up. He gave a few more licks than normal across his daughters fur in the hopes of cooling her off a bit too.
"Carol would we be able to see her? Is it okay if I still call you Carol for now? I can call you um... Toots, it's just a bit awkward," He confessed.

Toots laughed "Of course, but just make sure you don't cross over the border. I have only been here for a moon, but the cat's here are a little prickly about their boarders. Don't want ya getting entangled up in some sort of mess" Toots shook out her pelt, a little disappointed to have to end her walk so early on, but she supposed it was worth it this time. "I'll go get her"
Wispykit held still while her father groomed her, she did appreciate it, it was true that the heat was already starting to get to her as well. Her fur wasn't quite as long or as thick as her father's but it would serve her well in her ancestral WinterClan which meant it worked very much to her detriment here in SunClan.
"Dad, I heard SunClan cats like to take prisoners and torture them until they convert or die, whichever comes first." She whispered to him once Toots was out of sight although of course Autumngossamer and Aspenmountain likely heard her sweet but nervous little voice. Wispykit been saying stuff like this since the beginning of their journey in the hopes of dissuading it but it had fallen on deaf ears, "Maybe we should just let Toots tell Mistyveil where to find us and leave before she gets back?"
"Oh wow, really?" Windyhurricane asked his daughter, "I can't believe grown cats talk about rumors in front of kits, how inappropriate," He said thoughtfully. But shook his head, "I know that they do though. WinterClan had to save DayClan from SunClan at one point. But there's a new leader now and I don't want to judge her clan for the actions of a past dictator. Your grandmother trusts Littlestar and if there's one thing you should know about your grandmother it's that she would never trust an idiot, so Littlestar must be a great leader. Besides, I won't let anything bad happen to us," He promised her.
He didn't feel too intimidated by SunClan's history, after all WinterClan had done plenty of bad things for far more years, but it never meant that the people in the clan were bad too.
"Yeah, I'm going to assume you have a handle on this," Autumngossamer said with a slow stretch as she watched Toots disappear. Mistyrose and her weren't exactly best pals and she didn't want to be around when she came. After all these cats were on the other side of the border and were just visiting family, nothing too new. Although she had zero DayClan personality and all SunClan attitude she did have a pure disregard for borders like a DayClan cat would. If SunClan didn't literally drag cats across the border and force them to initiate she would care about guarding them more. But since they were just going to be forced over the border and made to initiate anyways there was no point in guarding it so she left.
Mistyrose was sleeping in camp, no one ever seemed to see her up or doing anything useful. But if anyone asked for proof if she did anything she always provided so somehow she got work done?
"I hope you are right..." Wispykit replied sheepishly and leaned into her father's leg despite the heat. It wasn't that terribly uncomfortable in the shade that the a larger tom cast plus he made her feel safe. She wouldn't take her eyes off Autumngossamer, she didn't trust her as far as she could throw her.

Toots arrived back at camp, and upon seeing mistyrose decided to make a little game of it. She stalked forward leaping up into the air and letting her weight fall upon her "HEY MOM! You will never guess who I just ran into"
Windyhurricane fanned himself and his daughter with his bushy large tail while waiting.
"Your common sense?" Mistyrose asked, only a few paw steps away from where Sparrowflight was waiting for her. They did this regularly, but Mistyrose seemed to be the kit producing queen as anytime she could have kits she simply did and was pregnant almost immediately. Not only that, but she had massive litters every time.
Nikkohydrangea peaked out to look at Toots, "Who?"

"Windyhurricane, he and a kit are waiting at the border to talk with you" she chuckled, in a good enough mood to completly ignore her rather mean comment.
Wispykit batted at her father's tail, although not because it was a game; she was trying to pull a twig out of it.
"Big Brother Windyhurricane is here!?" Kissy had a knack of showing up whenever he family was concentrated in one place. She nearly knocked Nikkohydrangea off his feet as she bounded over to Toots's side, wagging her tail like a dog, "Let's go see him! It's been so long... and did you say he had a kit with him? Do you think his kits are older than yours, Toots? I wonder how many secret nieces and nephews I have! Oh, I can't wait to meet them." She paused and cocked her head at Mistyrose, "We can go see them right?" She was an adult, she didn't need permission, yet with her mother around she couldn't help but do it.
