Sunpaw giggled, "I think we stink to each other, 'cuz we haven't really smelt each other before." She stuck her tongue out in disgust, though not offended by the rumors, "no way! Yuck!" She followed after her towards the pond, peering curiously into its depths. She stuck a paw in it, feeling the cool water surround her pads for a moment before she pulled it back out, flicking the droplets at her new-found friend.

SPRINGCLAN Cherrypaw recoiled when the water droplets hit her in the face, expression stormy for all of a second before she cracked a blinding grin and dipped her whole paw in the water, splashing Sunpaw with as much as she could scoop up. "There's more where that came from, too!" she laughed, bounding away from the water's edge before Sunpaw could get a returning shot. She wasn't watching where she was going, however, and bumped into someone much larger than herself. "Sorry!" she mewed, turning to see who it was.

She shook her pelt, a tad shocked at the coolness of the water, before bursting out in a laugh. "Oh?" She said, challenge lacing her voice. She had half the mind to scoop up a bunch of water in her mouth and spit it all at Cherrypaw, but ew, no thanks, I certainly wouldn't like that. Sunpaw chased after the other apprentice, getting ready to tackle her. As Cherrypaw bumped into a much bigger form, Sunpaw skidded to a half, coming to a stop just behind the other apprentice.

SUMMERCLAN GidgetGal Upon the arrival of an unexpected clan, Roachpelt had impulsively slid closer to Ratstar. And as this Chimerastar spoke Roachpelt felt his patchy fur ruffle. "Ratstar," he meowed, voice like steel, "everything alright here?"
Cleaver Dawnmemories was grateful for the appearance of Sootstep, the she-cat had to stop herself from pressing up against him. There was a look on her face like she half-suspected a fight to break out. "I don't know, they seem awfully sure of themselves, strutting into a gathering with two clans." SWIFTCLAN Demonicchicken had walked in like he owned the place, but now stood a little away from the other SwiftClan cats, looking mock-surprised by their presence like he wasn't one of them.
Thistlestar chuckled at Ratstar's enthusiasm watching as Summerclan cat's perk up at their leader's command. It was the kind of enthusiasm the Springclan leader has always wished he could exude. When we was promoted to Deputy, he was concerned that his serious demeanor would make it difficult to win over the trust of his clanmates as he moved higher in power, but thankfully, his clanmates knew him well enough to know that he was just cursed with a naturally stern face.
Ratstar's comments caused his ears to perk in surprise and he turned back to Sunpaw. It made sense now the apprentice's comfort with approaching him. She was used to talking to positioned cats in her clan, being one herself. Thistlestar smiled to the young cat, bowing his head respectfully to the she-cat as Cherrypaw entered the conversation. The bombardment of questions left the Springclan leader breaking out in laughter.
The unfamiliar scent hit the leader first and it seemed as though the Summerclan leader sensed it was well. A new voice, one that held a small speck of familiarity caught Thistlestar's attention, turning him away from the conversation to located the source of the new voice only to find the familiar sight of the Swiftclan leader, Chimerastar. Thistlestar stared on, his spring green gaze narrowing as he turned, walking towards the Swiftclan leader, the hairs on his own pelt rose slightly for a moment before he forced himself to calm down. He knew better than to approach a cat with an inch of agression, especially a veteran leader.
"Ratstar, may I introduce you to Chimerastar, leader of Swiftclan." Thistlestar spoke up, his tone respectful yet serious as he stepped slightly between the two leaders, turning back to face Chimerastar head on "On the move again I assume." He spoke up, his gaze flickering off to take in the group of cat's that followed the tabby, mentally taking in the numbers. As confident as the clan was to suddenly join the party, it was clear between both Springclan and Summerclan, Swiftclan stood no chance at winning if a fight were to break out. The visit was nonthreatening, but still unexpected. It left the Springclan leader feeling a bit uneasy.
The small act of affection was enough to quail Mossbreeze's concerns and she turned to face her mate, relief clear in her eyes. "I know, I know but you know me." She meowed quietly, a small smile gracing her pretty face and she turned once again to take in her kits. Suddenly, a brown she-cat that reeked of Summerclan approached them, causing the queen to turn and face her. She was a pretty brown she-cat. The way she spoke of her kits made Mossbreeze believe she was a queen herself before the confirmation followed. A bright smile grew on the black and white haired cat as she immediately felt a sense of comradery with the Summerclan queen.
"Yes," She meowed lovingly, turning to watch as a dark grey kit jumped high in attempt to catch a butterfly, her melodious laughter echoing in the clearing "That's Cloverkit and her brother Thymekit." She pointed out proudly, glancing around with a new wave of concern "The others are around here somewhere I know it..." She murmmered, looking around for a moment before shaking her head and turning back to the Summerclan queen "My name is Mossbreeze and this is my mate, Smokecloud." Her tail grazed the grey tom beside her and she turned to stare at him, her eyes glistening with adoration. "Which are yours?" Mossbreeze asked thoughtfully, pulling her loving gaze away from her mate to meet the other queen's gaze

@peepingpeeper Cloverkit leapt with her brother, attempting to capture the strange creature that fluttered around. Excitement grew as the chase grew, but a older voice interrupted the kits' game, causing both Cloverkit and Sunnykit to turn to the newest addition. A Summerclan warrior by the smell of it. She arched back naturally, the natural instinct to defend hit her like a strong breeze, but she immediately calmed as Sunnykit stepped to the tom with naive fearlessness "A but-butterfly?" He inquired on curiously, staring up at the yellow-eyes warrior with intense curiosity.
SWIFTCLAN He was saved from answering Ratstar by the arrival of his niece. Whether it was a blessing or a curse he had yet to decide as he turned to acknowledge her with a quick nod and somewhat-forced smile. "Seasparkleflash, it's been a while," he agreed. He wanted to hear the answer to Tinybreath's questions as well, but there would be time for that later, and he looked up as Thistlestar introduced him. "That's right," he confirmed with a nod, "we've been heading off to a new territory to get settled down on. I heard about this little meeting, though, and thought you might not mind the company... we brought some prey as well." Barely any prey, truth be told, not even enough to feed themselves. But he didn't feel the need to tell them that.
SUMMERCLANneverstarstar "Think we'll get to chase them out?" he asked, hopeful. The leaders didn't look happy to see the new arrivals either, but they hadn't chased them off. His claws were itching for a good fight.
Truth be told he wasn't comfortable with the way the other leaders were looking at Chim. Cimber had watched from the edges of the group, having been one of the advance cats to bring some prey to the gathering of clans, but now the Swiftclan Deputy padded forward. Even if he was uncomfortable he put a smile on his handsome face and laid on the charm. "Greetings Thistlestar, Ratstar. Sorry to interrupt but I wanted to thank you for putting together such a great gathering. I know so many of Swiftclan are excite to see old friends before we leave. After this they never really know when they'll see their friends and families again." He laid it on thick, his grin morphing into a look if uncertainty and anguish. He hoped now they'd feel to guilty to run them off.
Windyhurricane looked up happily at his mate, "I'm trying to talk to Mossbreeze, but she didn't hear me and now I feel too weird repeating myself again.
His blue eyes glimmered when he saw his son, Twisterkit walking into the gathering with a big blue flower, he looked so happy! Suddenly his gaze sparked at the sight of Demonicchicken, hey he knew him from swimming lessons. Windyhurricane waved his paw the SwiftClan tom, "Hey Dante, want to hangout!?" He called.
"Oh, I'm actually incredibly new to SpringClan myself, it's very flowery though," Oceanicbreeze said, knowing that wasn't exactly descriptive, but he was trying his best. When he saw Viperstream though he immediately waved the tom over. Viperstream had been in SpringClan a lot longer than he had so he probably had a better description, "Hey this is Seasparklefish, he was asking what SpringClan's like, I figured since you've been a member longer than me you could describe it best. This is Viperstream by the way," He said speaking to both toms.
Viperstream was a bit surprised to be beckoned over by Oceanicbreeze who was conversing with another cat, a tom from SummerClan's camp. Curious as to why he waved him over, he rose to his paws and padded toward them.
After being introduced he nodded once at Oceanicbreeze then turned his attention to Seasparkleflash. "Nice to make your acquaintance," he meowed politely before beginning his description of his home clan. "But, yeah, SpringClan is beautiful, especially this time of year. Prey is bountiful and the weather is just perfect for pretty much anything you wanted to do." A small smile surfaced as he thought back to all the good memories he had in his lifetime. "And let me not forget my comrades here. They're what makes it SpringClan home. I couldn't have asked for a better place to be."
"Awww, Windy. Its alright" she purred, comforting him. When he waved to another cat, her attention snapped in the direction of Demonicchicken. "You go have fun with your friends. I'll catch up with you later." She gave him an affectionate lick on the cheek before bounding off toward Twisterkit.
Chimerastar... Ratstar looked between Thistlestar and the...Swiftclan? He certainly hadn't heard of some 'Swiftclan' before... Before Seasparkleflash and Tinybreath's appearances finally made it all click inside his brain. "Ah, you're Thunderstorm's little brother, ain't ya? I've heard a lot about ya, and Waterclan." The one-eyed tabby dipped his head politely, noticing the other tom's similar lack of an eye with a small smirk. "Eh, if ya folks brought prey, than I suppose you's can join in on the fun." Glancing around, he noticed how some of his warriors were on edge with the unexpected interruption, and he addressed them with a dismissive flick of his tail, and brushing his pelt against Roachpelt comfortingly. "So...Swiftclan, eh? Can't say I've ever heard o' ya. You's some kind of vagabonds? A traveling clan?"
"I'm Mudthistle," the young queen replied, smiling kindly at Mossbreeze and Smokecloud before turning back at the rambunctious kits. "My kits are the bright ginger she-cat and the scruffy dark-brown tom. Redkit and Grasskit." The small tom in question had finally reached Cloverkit, nearly tackling the Springclan kit over in his excitement to introduce himself. Mudthistle let out a purr of laughter. "Grasskit is...excitable, but he means well. Their father, Crimsonlife, should be around here somewhere, probably grabbing enough lunch for all of us."
Seasparkleflash nodded a friendly gretting to his uncle Chimerastar, before turning back to his conversation with Oceanicbreeze, who had brought over another one of his clanmates. "Nice to meet you, Viperstream," he meowed. "Springclan sure sounds like a nice place. But you're right, I think what makes any clan worth while are the clanmates who live and hunt beside you. As I told Oceanicbreeze, I wasn't born in Summerclan, but that's what really makes it home for me. I suppose we're quite similar, in that regard."
That piqued his interest. "Is that so? Where were you born and what made you join SummerClan?" he asked Seasparkleflash curiously. Considering he was once a loner long ago, it always made him wonder other cat's reason for joining a clan rather than live a life of solitude like some prefer.

desperately trying not to forget anyone lol
SUMMERCLAN Cleaver Dawnmemories frowned, thinking. "I don't know, but I sort of hope so. I don't like the idea of just accepting a trespassing clan." The warrior was usually peaceful but the appearance of an entire clan was unnerving. But Ratstar seemed accepting, so the red cat decided the matter was over, if her leader didn't want to attack then that was good enough for her.
Spot Twisterkit looked up at the sound of his mother approaching and set his flower down carefully, waving his tail at her as he nervously gazed around. He sensed the tension in the air and found himself very aware of how small he was.
GidgetGal Ratstar brushed against his pelt, helping him relax. The sudden appearance of these cats had made him feel wary, eyes darting around as though expecting an ambush of a more violent nature. The old matted cat withdrew, not wanting to assume a position close to Ratstar that he didn't deserve. He stood off to the side a bit, watching everything with a grizzled, haunted look.
SWIFTCLAN Faith Demonicchicken was surprised by the use of his old name, remembering after a second that he'd told others that was his name still. 'Demonicchicken' just didn't have a nice ring to it. Windyhurricane was surprisingly friendly and tom found himself nodding, edging his way over, "sure, that would be great. Thanks."
SPRINGCLAN CleaverGidgetGal At Ratstar's acceptance of Swiftclan's company, Thistlestar turned back to scan the field to catch the sight of concern his own clan mates gave him. He simply nodded, dismissing the looks that his peers had before turning back to Chimerastar. A sudden swift gush passed through the Springclan leader's legs, causing him to perk up with surprise and confusion. He looked down to see the familiar ginger pelt of his youngest son, Sunnykit, who stood just under him, half of his body out from the safety of his father's tall stature.
The ginger kit stared up curiously, his honey colored eyes wide as he outwardly stared at the Swiftclan leader then to the Summerclan leader and back before finally turning back to his father "Dad, why do all the leaders have only one eye except you?" The statement was unabashedly blunt. Thistlestar could feel his pelt grow hot with embarrassment as he stared down at his son. Before he could chide him, Sunnykit stepped forward fully between the leaders, looking back at them for a moment before injecting again "Are you going to lose an eye too dad?"
Windyhurricane watched Stormgazer leave and was hesitant not to follow her, but decided against it. Twisterkit was still getting used to him and while he really wanted to bond with him today it looked like he wanted to take the opportunity to meet other kits his age. He didn't want to ruin his sons time by making him hangout with him so instead he turned to the person he called over. "Hi Dante," He greeted again once Demonicchicken got closer, "I'm so excited that we can both swim now, I cannot wait to swim all the time except in leafbare or maybe it's okay in leafbare in SummerClan, I'm not really sure how weather works outside of the top of a mountain. That's easy though because the weather is deathly freezing, freezing, snowy, and tundra. Anyways have you ever tried cube fish? Someone said there's cubed fish around here and I really want to try one. Also what even is a cube? It sounds insane!"

Faith Demonicchicken looked taken aback by his new friend's rambling, but managed to follow the conversation easily enough. "I've never heard of cubed fish, I wonder where we'd find some? Maybe cubed is a color? Like... red fish? I know those exist. But I've never seen one. There's also yellow fish. I mean, it's all fish. Why does it need different names? A fish is a fish. We don't name mice a hundred different things, now do we?"
Chim flashed his deputy a grateful look as he joined the group, relaxing slightly to have him there for support. He was a little more eloquent in these situations than the leader, but it seemed he had done well enough to convince the other leaders. He straightened up at the mentor of his sister, his eye brightening in surprise. "Thunderstorm's still here?" He craned his neck and looked around the group for a sign of her. While he wasn't as close with her as he was his other siblings, it had been a long time since he'd seen the older she-cat and he just hoped she was doing well.
Sunnykit's question caught his attention and he turned back with a little huff. "If you don't stop asking dumb questions, he will," he replied reproachfully. It was intended as a joke, but his tone didn't really convey any levity. He shifted his half-gaze back up to Ratstar. "For now, we're just travelers," he agreed, "but I hope to find a camp to settle down in soon." As much as he was enjoying their travels, over than being exhausted and starving, he knew logically they had to settle at some point. What kind of clan didn't have a home?
Sootstep nodded his agreement. For once they were on the same page... but not with their leader, who was looking rather at ease now with the newcomers. His ears flattened. "I'm going to go talk to one of them. Their warriors must know what they're up to here," he announced.
