Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Arcticpaw leapt in front of her mother, blocking her path, "Mom..." She said at first her paw scraping through her own fur pulling out pieces of her own fur in distress, "Be a leader. You love him don't you? Some people are worth breaking the rules for, but maybe you don't love him enough... But don't you love Satinlights enough?" She looked at her Satinlights teary eyed face before brushing away a tear from her cheek. She walked out of her moms way before walking past the battlefield. Her gaze observing Funkson's moves as he beat into Bloodyrondo, her gaze imagining the muscles, joints, and bones moving that made the impact. How much force he used with the turn of a paw and how much momentum he gathered by pushing his arm inward before outwards. Her eyes were narrowed, before opening wide once more. All the data she needed was there now. She pounced into the side of Funkson bringing him to the floor as her pupils dilated with a contained thrill, teach me more. Her olive green eyes burned with fascination staring into Funkson's frenzy stare. She would do anything for her sisters and if Satinlights wanted Bloodyrondo alive she would fight with all of her heart. She jabbed hard into the nerve of Funkson's upper left leg, turning it numb, but there wasn't a fierceness in Arcticpaw's eyes so much as a wonder.
Mistyrose was sitting on the sidelines watching Littlestar with her typical bored stare, but seemed to look up at her as if asking if she needed her. Much like her son she stayed on the sidelines unless requested.
Gingersnap inched up to the battlefield nervously, Bloodyrondo was so much BIGGER than her, "Um. Um..." She nervously went into tap at him with sheathed claws after forgetting to unsheathe them, but was knocked back by Funkson when Arcticpaw forced her away from Bloodyrondo and to the ground. Gingersnap let out a shriek and ran before running back, "Sorry, sorry nerves... Instinct. Oh my gosh. Do we usually do this? I don't remember us ever doing this... Attacking one another," She said with wide eyes before creeping back up to Bloodyrondo her entire body shaking with fear as she tried to brave the courage to attack.
In his time of need, when he looked upon Littlestar was fear in his eyes, she turned away. Fitting. He felt tears of frustration, not fear, begin to build in his eyes but he willed them away. That was the last time he tried to as that basketcase for help. Maybe even the last time he asks anybody for help.
Knowing now that this was very, very real, Bloodyrondo really only had one option left: Escape. It seemed his powers would not work in this holy place but if he could get past the red waters he would be able to effectively disappear. The problem? Well, any cat who helped him would likely face the same fate that he did. He wouldn't put that on Nikkohydrangea, who finally had real happiness with Shadowbard. It seemed an impossible feat to be able to get out of this situation without any help, though, Foxbane would personally see to it that he would not be able to escape. Even if he did manage it, then where would he go? DayClan, where all the disgraced but redeemed cats went? The Regime, to be with Duskslayer? Hell, the League, to be with his dad?
Wait, why was he even considering these things?
A fire burned in his heart as he directed his gaze up to the Sun. He was positively devout in his beliefs, had dedicated his entire life to the Sun God's will, was literally the only cat actively working toward bringing even more cats under his wing. When Bloodyrondo was an apprentice he had sworn to himself that he would give his life in service of the Sun God. He didn't want to grow old anywhere other than SunClan. But he was not going to just roll over and take the lashings. If the Sun God really wanted him dead then so be it. Bloodyrondo was going to give him one hell of a show and prove that, for once, the all-knowing God had made a bad decision. Just set the stupid flower on fire, was the silent prayer he sent.
The ginger tom pelt pressure beneath his body as Funkson forced themsleves below. Bad, bad spot, no thank you. Bloodyrondo leapt back but one of his hind legs was stuck under Funkson and unbalanced him. He managed to regain his footing, but it gave the young Janus a great view of the half-healed belly gouges inflicted within the past moon by Moonlitnocturne.

Littlestar
SunClan High Priestess
The Peace Keeper
Littlestar couldn't help but hear the screams as Funkson tore into his stomach. Her paws came to a stop "Satinpaw... keep going and don't turn back..." Suddenly turning around and racing back up towards the top of the hill as chaos erupted. She tilted her head upwards taking in a deep breath
"ENOUGH" one word, but loud and clear enough that all those her froze and silence fell upon the crowd. Her golden eyes scanned from one side to the other daring them to flinch
A growl rose in her throat, as she watched IdiotBrother's wounded belly drip blood onto the ground and a cat all to familiar to SunClan apeared hovering over the darkened sunflower that Bloodyrondo had picked out for the initiation "Funkson, you acted far to rashly, return to the other Janus" her eyes narrowed on the young apprentice aged cat before turning onto the Sun God himself. She had been trying so hard not to ruin the Sun God's efforts, but this had gone on long enough. Idiotbrother was strong enough to take a few smaller wounds, but this... it was to far. She couldn't let her daughters hurt any longer, even if it was at the Sun God's command
No sooner had she finished speaking, the sunflower IdiotBrother had chosen, rocketed upwards in a blaze high into the sky as it burst, sending burnt seeds floating back to the earth after a loud crack filled the air. Then another colorful burst of flames appeared, and then another. Each one more brilliantly colored than the last
"IdiotBrother, the Sun has examined your heart and seen that you are truly worthy of joining SunClan as a warrior once more. As the tides shift, abandon your old lives and begin them anew in service to the Sun God. I now grant you your new name, Bloodyrondo" wasting no time, she leaped into the clearing pressing her nose against his cheek before leaning in and whispering in his ear
"Next time, fight back instead of letting yourself get shredded in front of your girl and making her cry... Go on, don't leave her waiting... I'll keep them busy" to most it would have sounded snarky but it was the first time Littlestar had acknowledged their relationship to Bloodyrondo
It was a strange sort of thing. Littlestar was a sibling to Funkson, which meant they were Arcticpaw's relative. Blood dripped from their paw, and their teeth were stained red as their mouth stretched in a thrilled sort of smile, as it the pain was anything but to them. As the limb went numb, they simply trusted movement as they swung the numb limb like dead weight into the apprentice. Even for young and inexperience, they'd spent many moons in training with the Janus, and that did count for something. In a moment, they lunged, trying to force Arcticpaw back. Bloodyrondo was their target, not this one. They wouldn't hold back, if it came to it, but even they did know not to be hurting Littlestar's kits for any reason besides absolute necessity.
But then the fireworks came, and so did Littlestar's voice, and Funkson leaned back, looking rather curious in a different sort of way.

Tinymutiny
SunClan Warrior
The Underestimated
Tinymutiny sighed standing to her paws to try and slip away "I said knock it off, it's impolite to ask a lady out when you don't even know her name" but before she could even take more than a few steps the sudden loud voice of Littlestar rang out over the clearing, and suddenly the sky was filled with loud bangs and colors. Her fur bristled, jumping backwards of of instinct only to fnd herself up against Oakshade's chest once more
Bloodyrondo felt Funkson's claws dig right through his partially healed wounds and was unable to contain a howl of agony. Losing his balance now, his full weight fell down right on top of the Janus, the claws sliding in deeper than even the original wounds but not covering a lot of ground. This time he held back his yowl and pulled himself away on shaky legs just as Arcticpaw came to his aid. They made eye contact for just a moment and all she would be able to register was mixed surprise and thankfulness. He did not know her well but would have to thank her later, if there was a later. Bloodyrondo backed away from the apprentices as a steady stream of blood fell to the ground at his feet and looked around for his next attacker. But then... Littlestar called out, put an end to all of it. His vision was a little foggy as he watched the sunflower erupt, something he had never seen happen before at an initiation, and, for a moment, he was extremely proud of himself. But only for a moment: He had bigger concerns.
The Sun God and Littlestar were both standing before him and he still could not for the life of him figure out what lesson there was to be learned here. Like, what did they expect to happen? He was irked but those angry feelings faded when he gained his name back then disappeared when Littlestar leaned forward and, for the first time, recognized his relationship with Satinlights. He did not pull away from her embrace but did not necessarily return it. Bloodyrondo wasn't sure if he would ever trust her again after the last moon of stunts she had pulled, but a part of him still respected her, "Thanks. I guess." His voice still had attitude, but it was the typical level. After all, he did not have his post back - Littlestar had only appointed him a Warrior. It was an improvement but not much of one, especially with Moonlit still sleeping in what was rightfully Bloodyrondo's nest. He gave a pained bow to the Sun God but did not say anything to him before limping away toward Satinlights. His celadon eyes were shinning now as he approached her, a crooked smile on his face, smug and happy about it at the same time. He had won this battle, although the war was not over.
"Why does this seem familiar?" He teased, perhaps in poor taste, but it hadn't been all that long since he had lead Satinlights to this den for treatments to her own stomach wounds. He let out a purr and rubbed his head against hers, "Congratulations on becoming a Janus. I'm so proud of you."
"Your name's Tinypaw?" Oakshade replied with a quizzical look on his face, "Wait, did I miss your prom---" He was cut off by the sparking sunflower and bristled right along with Tinymunity, welcoming her accidental embrace with a purr, but did not place himself in front of her as he had with Mapledawn. He had learned earlier that this fire was not terribly dangerous, just alarming. This one really as a show, though, and he felt bad for poor Lazulilagoon. Hers had been quite less impressive. Oakshade didn't care of a lot of SunClan traditions but thought this one was pretty good. Full of flare and bright colors. Especially since each cat got their own unique flame, he wondered if the cats of SunClan gave the colors of presentation any meaning, would that be a good topic to ask on a date? He sneezed suddenly, probably from the faint smell of smoke, then leaned his neck over Tinymutiny to get closer to her ear, "Where were we?"
Nikkohydrangea licked at his paw before grooming his face while Funkson put a valiant effort in tearing Bloodyrondo, but given SunClan's weird theory about making Janus kits and apprentices they weren't getting anywhere. Then there was Littlestar who was walking away with Satinlights, cause, sure, why not, dramatic effects. And then he turned back to see Funkson tear open Bloodyrondo's belly because, of course, theye're a violent out of control person. And then watched as Littlestar was somehow emotional about the whole thing even though this was exactly how it was going to go when you don't tell a demon child to stop fighting.
"Oh my Sun God, it was all a ruse to teach him a lesson? I feel so betrayed, how could anyone masterfully fake this? Am I right fellow oblivious SunClan members?" Nikkohydrangea asked in his usual sarcastic tone. After all, what was the problem? This was only a clan where the first rule is the leader can't be a leader if the Sun God says so. And that Littlestar was a slave to behave to the sun in the sky or be smite down with curses. Where there was definitely dire consequences to those she loved whether she followed him or not. What was there to be emotionally distressed about?
"Oh yes, masterful job, I'm sure he learned..." Mistyrose tried to think of a random life lesson this could have been, "If you love something set it free," She said forcing her lips into the uncomfortable smiling position to come off supportive of Littlestar, but due to her monotone voice she only came off as sarcastic as her son did even though she was genuine.
Arcticpaw mimicked Funkson's exact movements to be able to roll her over into a pinned position before setting off, "You're mean, but you're a good fighter," She said simply. Staring at Funkson for a moment before padding back over to Satinlights, "I'm sorry I couldn't run fast enough to save your boyfriend," She said before looking at Bloodyrondo as he walked over whispering, zombie under her breath.
Okayyyy so I wasn't supposed to attack, whoops I'll just... Gingersnap looked back and forth before the little she-kit retreated back to camp slowly.

To wait, that was his command. Those words wormed through, letting others in. Even as he steeled himself for what was to come, his gaze softened briefly when he looked back at Satinlights. Littlestar was right, she shouldn't see this. "I'm sorry Satinlights." He muttered to her. But he couldn't stop. Couldn't let himself stop. Not when he was so close.
So close until the flower burst into flames.
He knew he was a pawn but this was a bit much. Moonlit stopped in his tracks, having barely started towards the group again. "Wish this idiot god would stop being so dramatic and make a choice." It could have been worse, he could have gotten his position back right away. The whole punishment itself felt unnecessary with how little time had passed between then and now. There was nothing Vamp learned, it was so obvious. Especially as he made his way over here, to Satinlights. "Oh well. Don't dumb yourself down to his level, okay?" Was all Moonlit said before he walked away, not saying a word to TheIdiotBrother as he passed by. It was time to go wash this gaudy paint off. He didn't belong here.
