Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"You're not wrong, but If I killed these kits, then whatever you could do would be far, far less a punishment than what the Sun God would curse me with." Foxbane stated truthfully, heaving a heavy sigh before speaking again. "I regret what I did to your kits. But all the apologies in the world, all the good deeds, will neither bring them back, nor make me deserving of forgiveness, so I won't sit around waiting for either." She would just have to live her life with the consequences, something she'd come to terms with by now.
Her screech was of utter horror as she cried out to Foxbane. Autumngossamer was standing firm, but her senses caught up with her forcing her back to the floor. There was no one else in this room to blame. How did Foxbane and Littlestar know to come and what did they do to her? Did her kits, did they come to steal her kits like they did to Rubyflame? To her giving birth was humiliating, all she wanted was her supportive mate by her side and to get through this moment together and they couldn't even give her that. She was shaking with rage, "NO ONE has the right to touch me. I don't care if you're a healer, you could have gotten Brakewings, I'm not an idiot and neither is Windchaser. I didn't give consent for treatment and I would have rather died than have your cockroach paws over my body." Her thoughts were spiraling back to the Sun God, how he controlled her body, punished her by distorting it and making her own body betray her and how protective it made her of herself now.
Her fight mode was all the way up without hardly any control of herself, but the light in her eyes did seem to be returning along with her rationale. Her tail had been lashing across the floor furiously, "You utterly humiliated me, I am NEVER going back home." Her voice was swallowed up into a growl with every word as the herbs instead of relaxing her were not inducing her into a delirious panic attack built up by all the fear swelling inside of her from a situation she still had yet to found understand. She was looking at Windchaser now as if asking if that was alright to stay in DayClan.
Glowstar's ears perked up at Autumngossamer's scream, "We need to go in there," She told Littlestar.
"Then don't, Autumngossamer." Foxbane hardly had any reaction at all to the Soothsayer's words. "But I don't recommend making any decisions until you talk to Littlestar. If you would like, there's some hops right there, to help you feel better. You should know them well enough. Windchaser can get them for you and help you inspect them to ensure it's not spiked with anything. Or don't eat them. I can't make you do anything." No one had ever accused the ex-Priestess of being the most empathetic feline ever.
Was that an....apology? Windchaser was taken by surprise at Foxbane's words but she didnt want the crazy feline to catch her off guard so she held her gaze firm. For all she knew, Foxbane could be lying at feeling regret for murdering her kits. Or...perhaps she was serious. Still, Windchaser could never forgive Foxbane. No matter how hard she tried to forgive and forget, the grudge just buried itself deeper and festered. Windchaser's ear twitched as Autumngossamer got more control over her body and began screaming. At first, the ginger and white warrior was worried there was something wrong but her expression softened when Autumn told Foxbane that she wanted to stay in Dayclan. Looking down at the distraught queen, she saw the same free spirited apprentice that she had known before Sunclan captured them. Windchaser didnt know how to comfort Autumn. Her guard was still up, unsure if Autumn truly meant what she said even though she wished she could calm the she-cat. All she could think was to lay her tail over Autumn. "You are always welcomed here, Autumn. Glowstar would never turn you down." She hoped that was true. She would feel horrible if Glowstar did turn her down but that wouldn't represent Dayclan. Dayclan was a clan for everyone to start fresh and knew. Peachblush, Wanderingwright, Fuzzyheart, Leucisticcrow to name a few who had come to Dayclan for a new start. Besides, it would be unlike Glowstar to refuse.
