Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The half moon hung low in the hazy midnight blue sky. The night was like staring into a painting, too perfect with strokes of silvery clouds cascading lightly against the calming backdrop like painted on artistry. The starlight was bright as fireflies in a summer night, lighting moon creek in a cozy warm hue. Lining up against the creek were nine trees, two of which dead, one on fire, and one beginning to lose its leaves. Each tree representing the clans that believed in StarClan and those who had fallen out of faith. Also lining the treeline were thick large blue crystals, they glittered as cats walked by. Each one representing a fallen clan that once believed in StarClan, a reminder that their ancestors were still among them.
Already waiting by Moon Creek was a spirit of a ragdoll she-cat with yellow eyes, she waited by the waters edge.
PRIMAL INSTINCT This was Blue's very first half-moon gathering as a Mage, but she had arrived alone: The last thing she wanted to do was travel the distance in the company of her mentor. She had been here countless times before during her Ambassador days so it wasn't like she was in completely unfamiliar territory. Still, the journey had been quite tiring, especially given that she was perpetually drained these days as she was a nursing queen. The black she-cat sat down by the water's edge and did not so much as glance at the spirit.
"So it looks like I'm the first one here..." She said to herself, batting a few pebbles into Moon Creek. The creek rippled with each irritation, creating glittery waves brighter then even the stars as it reflected the crystals that surrounded this patch of land. Blue was annoyed that she was the first cat here but at least that meant she'd be able to observe every group as they showed up intermittently. Maybe she would learn a thing or two from their discussions with each other. She herself would avoid conversation. Blue could't think of anything to say that would be of value to better-trained cats than herself and, besides, she didn't believe half of what this meeting meant anyway. The League was known for their atheist tendencies. While Blue loved the idea of an afterlife, she doubted such luxurious fate really awaited any cat. She'd never met a single one who deserved it.
The ragged form of a tom padded into view and carefully picked their way along the creekside, grumbling under their breath at the loose pebbles that tumbled and shifted under their steps. He was on the shorter side, pelt clumped in places while been sparse and thin in others. His eyes were a sickly pale green that finally raised to look at the only other cat there after he finally settled himself. He also paid no mind towards the spirit, his own lack of believes keeping him from being graced with any sight towards the other side much like Blue. Though he was the medicine cat of Fallclan Suspendedillusion had a long sordid history outside it and becoming the medicine cat in a clan had not changed his upbringing. If there were really dead cats that could advise the living he would leave Amberpaw to deal with them. It would be good for the timid tom to take the lead in some aspects.
Speaking of his apprentice he had left the poor thing behind in camp without mentioning he was leaving. All day he had reminded Amberpaw of the gathering and to make sure he remembered. And then when the apprentice had been distracted with something else he had slipped away and set off on his own. He considered it something of a test for his apprentice. Though the more selfish reasoning was simply that Suspendedillusion had no desire to listen to Amberpaw fret for the whole journey.
He tasted the wind as he grew close, carefully skirting the flaming tree as he descended toward the creek. The familiar scent of FallClan hit him first, recent in his memory from the meal they'd spent together, followed by the League. At least there was one face he knew here already, though as he drew nearer Brakewings realized it wasn't Hystericplague but their new healer that was present. The DayClan medicine cat frowned briefly but shook it off as he bounded between the trees to meet the other cats there. Why did the FallClan medicine cats always look so sickly?
"Hi," he called to Blue as he approached, glancing between the pair as he dipped his head and hastily introduced, "I'm Brakewings of DayClan." His smile grew broader as the dark ginger tabby spotted the spirit, and with a low purr rumbling in his throat, he darted to her side. "Yellowmoon, here already?"
Springclan An elegant, cream somali she-cat moved gracefully into the clearing beside the Moon Creek. Her honey dripped orbs illuminated and sparkled as they searched for a familiar face among some of the new ones. They rested warmly on Brakewings. That was a face she saw countless times before. "Brakewings!" Fawnheart greeted, her voice light and welcoming. She rushed forward and touched her nose briefly to his. "Its so good to see you."
Nyiradessa looked irritated, but there were few times in which the older feline didn't look irritated. She wasn't the most.. joyous of cats, and that was before she decided her mage was chronically incompetent. She was annoyed that Blue had left without her permission. Although she couldn't blame the feline for wanting to be out of Nyira's reach, it still quite frankly pissed off the Shaman that the Mage had yet to learn her place. That, and the journey had always been a little hard on her. She'd never admit it, but her disability made walking the journey a little bit rough. She would have appreciated her company, if only for the potential support.
She let out a cough before limping the last few steps. This was her first time here as a full shaman. Memories of her childhood, all those moons ago coming this way with Supernova, flooded her mind. She smiled wryly. She finally was here.
(Since Amberpaw was left, I'm gonna have him make a dramatic entrance. Please tag me when the meeting has started so he can come in Emperor Kuzko style with his worrying and fretting and over all panic lol)

SummerClan
Graythorn strode into the MoonCreek area and scowled. Why are so many non-believers here? he wondered as he looked around at the faces. If they don't believe in StarClan, why even come? His normal grumpiness fueled his ire. He certainly hoped his new apprentice wouldn't pick up on their apostasy. Not knowing where to sit at first, he saw Fawnheart of SpringClan but she was going over to Breakwings. With the scowl still firm in place on his gray tabby face, he went over to the edge of the creek and sat apart from the other cats.

Blue watched Suspendedillusion as he arrived and was surprised to see a Medicine Cat that seemed to be in worst condition than herself. The only reason she was strong these days was thanks to her mentor's dietary suggestions and supplements. She was so sidetracked ogling the FallClan medicine cat that she didn't even sense Brakewings's approach until he was right next to her. She fought the urge to flinch and managed to casually nod to him in greeting, "Blue, Mage of Primal Instinct." She followed the DayClan medicine cat's line of sight and, not seeing anything, assumed he had been talking about the only other cat present. It was odd that an experienced medicine cat like Brakewings didn't know the FallClan medicine cat - she had done her homework, so she knew - but Blue figured maybe the lighting here was bad or something, "I'm pretty sure his name is Suspendedillusion..."
Her reply was overshadowed by the peppy approach of Fawnheart. Blue found herself holding her tongue as she listened to the two of them greet each other. Clan cats belonged to a very different world indeed. These two at least were awfully cheery compared to cats who attend the standard gathering. Her icy eyes began to drift across the clearing as more cats gathered and she held her breath as she saw Nyiradessa approach. Blue diverted her eyes, unwilling to make eye contact. It had been pretty unfair for her to just ditch her mentor like that but Blue had her own way of doing things. It didn't stop her from feeling a tag bit guilty about it, though.
Springclan Fawnheart's honey eyes flicked to Blue, an apologetic look on her face. "My apologies. I didnt mean to interrupt." She realized that she didnt recognize this new cat but she smelled of Primal Instinct. She must be their new mage. "My name is Fawnheart" she greeted with a polite dip of her head. "I'm medicine cat of Springclan."
Sunpaw had never been more excited. Well, besides the time when she was apprenticed. But this was something new. Something only a few really got to see. Her vision danced a mix of blue and pink, for most of the journey. “So this happens every half moon? I wonder how many others will be there. Graythorn, are they all, like, friends with each other? What if they don’t like me? Do you think StarClan will accept me?” She babbled, trying time grip the exciting thoughts running through her head.
Get it together!
She composed herself, shaking out her fur to calm her nerves. When they arrived, the entire Moon Creek was filled with the richest purple she had even experienced. So wonderful. So strange. So curious and so many other words she couldn’t yet think of. It took her breathe away. “Graythorn! It’s so—it’s so purple! And—“ She stopped to sit beside her mentor, noticing their distance from the others. “—And, why are we sitting away from everyone? Should I introduce myself?”
PRIMAL INSTINCT "Oh, you aren't interrupting anything," Blue responded to Fawnheart with indifference; her face betrayed nothing and may have come across as cold even though she really did not mind the intrusion. She did not return a bow and instead wrapped her tail around her paws, "Im Blue, from the League. This is my first time here. With other cats, anyway." The black she-cat wasn't sure why she was opening up when she had very much intended to keep to herself tonight. She'd just been caught off guard a little bit. Blue had forgotten most other Clans, especially the medicine cats, were often more friendly in general than her league-mates typically were. It would have made her jealous if she didn't consider kindness a weakness.
Springclan "Oh! Well it's a pleasure to meet you, Blue. If you have any questions, feel free to ask." Fawnheart purred, unfazed by Blue's cold reaction. It was usual for Primal Instinct cats to appear cold and uninterested but it didnt give Fawnheart an excuse to be cruel back.
"Fawnheart! It's great to see you too," Brakewings purred, returning her touch affectionately. He was glad to see she was still the medicine cat; Fawnheart was a sweet cat, and he was always happy to see a friendly face... especially with the likes of Nyira and Graythorn arriving. "Oh, and nice to meet you as well, Blue," he agreed hastily, with a glance back up at the Mage. "Is this your first half-moon gathering?"
Chaman Ignatius let out a huff as he entered the gathering of cats, mentally kicking himself for letting this detail of his job slip through the cracks of his mind. He had much better things he could be doing than standing about with a group of strangers, giving his dusty white pelt a quick shake he hid his annoyance and entered with a smile.
"I just like it over here better," Graythorn replied as he mulled over in his mind what 'purple' meant. I am going to have the ask her someday why she uses colors to describe things, he decided. "I for one am not much for social niceties. Suit yourself if you want to greet the other cats. But be careful what you say around some of them. Not all believe in StarClan." He thought he should warn Sunpaw ahead of time before she met with any disagreeable cats.
"Yes, that is what I just said..." Blue replied to Brakewings with a bit of a tone. She hated repeating herself, it nearly made her want to disengage this conversation altogether. She found her icy eyes drift toward Graythorn and his apprentice, then to Nyiradessa, and she decided she would probably be better off staying right where she was after all. She looked back to Fawnheart and Brakewings, "Funny, I figured there would be more cats by now. What time does the ceremony begin? There is a ceremony, right?"
"Well, those who believe in Starclan will get a chance to share tongues with them as soon as everyone else gets here." Fawnhearr explained, kindly, wrapping her feathery tail around her moss soft paws as she took a seat. "Though, there have been less and less attending due to the change in religion. I dont think they realize that this isnt just a religious meeting. It is for every medicine cat to come and discuss new herbal remedies they have come up with or just to see old friends. I suppose these half-moon gatherings aren't what they used to be." A frown pulled at Fawnheart's lips as she scanned the nearly empty clearing.

Littlestar
SunClan High Priestess
The Peace Keeper
Littlestar could hear the soft murmuring of voices up ahead from the the medicine cats that had gathered at the Moon Creek. Foxbane had never bothered to attend these when she had been the High Priestess, and thus far neither had Littlestar. SunClan had an abundance of herbs and healers at their disposal, and with the Sun God around there was little need to speak with the cats of StarClan on a regular basis. However, she had recently found herself with questions for the cats that had given her nine lives. Personal questions that while the Sun God could have answered, she wanted to hear it straight from the mouth of the cats who had lived it. Besides every other clan sent representatives to the mooncreek, so why shouldn't SunClan?
Just before stepping into view of the medicine cats, she turned and offered a small smile to her Promised Bloodyrondo "I hope you are ready, our presence here is sure to cause a stir" she had already discussed the implications of showing up here tonight ahead of time "Let's make the most of it"
She stepped out into the pale moonlight, the light catching the glitter she had incorporated into the paint woven throughout her coat. She had chosen tendrils of yellows and gold, accented by slivers of oranges and red peeking through like the sun at dawn. Each tendril drawing the eye upwards to her golden gaze. Her gait never faltered, each step placed with confidence. The High Priestess of SunClan had arrived.
PRIMAL INSTINCT SpotCleaver "Alright." Blue replied to Fawnheart dismissively, although she was interested in the idea of sharing herbal remedies and other treatments at this gathering. It hindsight it was obvious that that would be a topic of conversation when you put a bunch of healers together. Suddenly a thought crossed her mind and she turned back to the SpringClan medicine cat. It was a little personal, but it didn't hurt to ask, "Do you know of any herbs that will help a kit grow? Her littermates are already walking and talking, but Patter-chan hardly ever lifts her head..." She paid no mind to the arrival of the showy SunClan cats; she had no idea that their present wasn't normal.
SUNCLAN racerWhitemuzzle @peepingpeeper "If these healers are so easily ruffled then perhaps they should have stayed home," Bloodyrondo was all decked out to match his mentor, his pelt painted with red, crimson and gold, very swirly and sun-like. It made him look positively ablaze against the background of his ginger tabby pelt. While the Priest Promised was radiant, he didn't quite command the room the same way Littlestar did. Just one look at her eyes demanded attention. In comparison, Bloodyrondo was clearly a young cat who had a dangerous amount of optimism that everything would always go his way. Responsibility had yet to level him.
He looked are the creek was amazed by how beautiful it was. It was an unusual mix of purples and blues and pinks. Had he known this color scheme, he definitely would have used more pink and less gold, but whatever, he still looked good next to the burning tree that illuminated the sky behind him. His pale green eyes met Graythorn's and he sauntered over to the SummerClan medicine cat, sidestepping his eager apprentice, ready to make his grand entrance, "I'm Bloodyrondo, Priest Promised of SunClan, and you are..?"
