Whiteperch felt the tom soften at his question, causing his core to melt even farther and want to curl itself around Chim. He frowned slightly at is response, giving a small nod. "I can understand bring up a Clan is a hard thing," Whiteperch chirped, his fluffy tail giving a wave. Shooting a look out of the corner of his eyes, Whiteperch motioned Blightbone forward with a flick of his muzzle. "But there are warriors here, myself included, willing to work for you."
[ that’s fair. we’ve only been doing well because there’s a bunch of us here so we can all play games together to pass the time cx but st least your house is clean now? ]
“I know,” he responded, “but it’s not that easy.” He paused, unsure how to go on. “Look, when the floods came, we tried to work past it. I was determined to save everything and keep the clan together. But no matter how hard we worked, there was no way to save clan. So we had to make the hard choice to get rid of the clan. And now?” Bitter irony laced his smile. “Well, not everyone wants to follow the leader that already killed the clan once. I can’t blame them for not trusting me.”
