Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Frostcloud stared in surprise as a random sick cat tumbled into their meeting. "Ew, Chestnutpaw, don't touch him. We don't know who he is and where he came from."
As Chestnutpaw stepped forward, a firm yet careful nudge stopped the young pupil in her place, stepping back a bit as she watched her mentor step forward to ward the strange cat. The nudge was enough for the apprentice to understand what was happening. The moment showed how strong the relationship between the Pupil and her mentor. Despite her mentor's warning and stepped paused, she watched the stranger from a safe distance, noting the shallow breathing, the rather thin frame. "He has been traveling for some time." She spoke quietly, her words directed towards her mentor, but were loud enough for everyone else to hear. "He looks... exhausted."
Wintrystar watched on, unsure of what they should do. While she knew here Witch and Pupil would want to take the cat home, she wasn't so sure that would be a good idea. A stranger inside WinterClan's camp? It was unheard of! "Earlybloom?" Maybe they could get away with stashing the cat in a nearby den and healing them from there and then sending him on his way. She knew better than to turn away a sick or injured cat, StarClan would be displeased, but...what had StarClan done for them lately? Did they even care if they helped others in need or not? Probably not, considering that they wouldn't reply back to the cats who called upon them for help.
"We should just leave him" Frostcloud commented, almost reading Wintrystar's mind. "He will just be another mouth to feed and won't have any use to us."
Chestnutpaw turned abruptly to the Knight, her pale green orbs burning brightly with a new passion "We can't leave him like this." She spoke up, her words firm but her tone weary as they turned from the Knight's direction to the Sovereign, holding her gaze with the utmost respect, but her expression filled with concern.
What did their code about outsiders matter ya the moment. StarClan had left them, and it was in their code to care for the sick even if they were from another clan. Put Wintrystar wasn’t so cold that she’d allow a cat to die on her mountain just because of StarClan forsaking them. With a nod of her head, she motioned for Early loom and Chestnutpaw to tend to the injuries tom. Maybe something good would come of this meeting after all.
