Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Is that what you would do?" Cadet Zion asked with a gasp, but immediately felt apologetic, "I'm sorry, you asked first. Mm. I doubt anything would happen. Renegade Regime never really attacks any clans. The last time we attacked was when a clan didn't just invade, but enslaved two entire clans killing their queens and even stealing their kits. The situation must be dire and inhumane, but so far none of us have been mistreated."
The sound of a twig breaking could be heard nearby, but Cadet Zion assumed it was probably a WinterClan as he gave it no mind. Interestingly there was no scent of any WinterClan cat or any cat at all. In fact it sounded like it came from above. Staring down at them was an ebony black she-cat, her violet eyes staring down onto the pair listening very closely. It was hard to make out her features from high up.
I suppose that's fair. But two whole clans? That's ridiculous. He had heard about that situation but didn't have any part in it. "That's very unfortunate," he replied. He was a bit curious to learn more about the Regime. They must not be that much of a formidable force if they are reluctant to attack anyone else or fight to release their members. Either that or the prisoners they were keeping werent that important.
He couldnt place it, but he felt an odd sensation in his pelt, like he was being watched. His ear twitched at the sound of a twig snapping. That can't be right...we're ways off from any patrol routes, at least any dawn patrol. Stretching and standing up, he said, "Alright, Zion, its about time we headed back to camp." he mowed. Subtly smelling the air, there was a scent he didnt recognize nearby.
"Okay," Cadet Zion said getting up, he didn't hear it or notice it yet, but Snakefang from his distance could see it coming. From the tree tops above was a black she-cat pouncing down the tree branches, the leaves prying loose as they slowly fell. It was only when the fresh green leaf fell close to Cadet Zion's nose did he realized there was someone above him. The black she-cat pounced onto Cadet Zion, pinning his entire body deep into his snow. With one paw she held his face down into the snow while her back legs took advantage of his apprentice size and held him down. She looked utterly ugly and smelled awful with no exaggeration. She was covered in long scars, one so deep and long it started at her neck and went all the way past her torso. Some of these scars were thick and bulging to the point that you could see them move in time with her heartbeat. Her eyes didn't look right either, the whites of her eyes were pink and restless with a cobalt blue burning in the center. But the odor coming from her was enough to make anyone gag, she smelled like dead fish meets wet dogs, but surprisingly although Cadet Zion lied pinned beneath her he hadn't gagged once.
The she-cat raised up her paw as her claws unsheathed and aim for the cadets neck, she was fast, but she had taken too much time to ensure she had pinned Cadet Zion down, offer Snakefang time to attack the intruder.
(I apologize. My phone has a habit of refreshing when I reopen the page I left it on :/)
"Zion!" Snakefang acted fast, springing toward the intruder. His steps faltered, the smell of decay and rot hitting his sense. Hard. He fought the instinct to vomit. If it weren't for the dire situation, he would have given in to the action. Holding his breath and pushing through the pain he continued onward. Using his weight, he slammed into the she-cat, the smell at its worst when he hit her. He stumbled over Zion before scrambling back to check on him. "Are you okay?" he asked as he checked him over.
Cadet Zion got up fast, the motion jerking the long fur out of his eyes to reveal the helpless horrified look in his gaze, but the bangs fell back down as quick as they came. With his expression concealed once more he looked back to Snakefang, "Thanks, ye-"
The she-cat got up and launched right back at Snakefang, slamming into him, only she didn't aim to push him away. Instead her ebony black claws sank into his shoulders trying to pin him down. She was quick and her form was good, but her actual strength was very low. Not only that, but she was surprisingly light in weight making it easy to shove her off. Cadet Zion immediately bit down onto Xuxa's back leg, but it didn't deter her in the slightest as she tried to viciously snap at Snakefang's face.
Before he could say anything more, Snakefang winced and stumbled, pain shooting through his shoulder. He hissed at the attacker as he shook her off. "Agh! That hurt!" he exclaimed as he regained his footing again. Planting his paws, he unsheathed his claws and swiped at the she-cat's face, hoping that it would connect and knock her away from the two of them. He had the size advantage so he if he was able to land a blow it would do some damage. But, since she was smaller, she had the speed advantage. That could prove rather troublesome if it becomes a drawn out fight.
