Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

"You need not lecture me Foxstar. I know the rules of the clans and I also know the loop holes. Even if I can not raise them. Someday they will have minds of their own. Then even you wont be able to keep them from wondering out of curiosity." He followed a few paces behind. Out of reach but still close enough to be obviously following. "As strong as the Sun's pull may be, Winter has it own gravity."

"Then let them entertain their curiosity when they are old enough to journey for themselves, and not a moment before." Foxstar replied simply. When they were warriors, they could make their own choices. Until then, SunClan would fight to keep them within the clan, to the last breath of each and every warrior there. It wasn't long before they neared the northern border, and once again, her gaze turned to his, cold and unforgiving as the clan from which Leatherstar came. "Oh, and I've forgiven your trespassing this once. It won't happen again."
She was the kind of cat who held a grudge, and even this slight, though she claimed to have forgiven it, would never be forgotten, and she would get her revenge one day. Maybe it was tomorrow, or the next moon, or ten seasons from now, but Leatherstar would pay. That much, at least, she knew for certain.

"They have their mothers strength but I fear they will have my spirit. If this is the case I have no fear of them forgetting me. Or where they truly belong." Leatherstar murmured he had faith that his children would find their way to him. If not for forever at least for a visit of their own accord. "Your forgiveness is a rare occurrence I hear. What an honor. Though mind you, if ever invited I will be here again."

"Their mother chose SunClan, despite her lineage and her relationship with you, and all those in the clan which she was born. You seem to claim that you care for Littlebird, enough that you were willing to risk the wrath of an entire clan to force your way into my camp, and yet, you seem to discount her influence on these kits. I'm glad she chose to stay with Skipstep, because she, and these kits, most certainly deserve better than you." It was an extraordinarily rare moment for Foxstar to give her true thoughts on a situation, to give any sort of glimpse into what was behind the mask. This was one such time. "I hope you're happy with your clan, for that is all you have left, and it will never make up for what you've lost today."

"I have lost nothing Foxstar. My daughter, my son, my littlebird. They will always be a part of me. And I a part of them. Every day anyone who lays eyes on my children they will see me. I have influenced this world, this forest. And weather you like it or not. I have influenced your clan at least for an entire generation. If anything I have gained much more than I have lost." He lashed his tail. He believed every word he said. Though he held fears of his clan and their survival he would go down in history. He would be a leader kits pretended to be in their games, the hero of their small fragile world. He leveled his gaze on Foxstar. "I do care for Littlebird. I care for even you Foxstar. Curse my mothers kind heart that beats in my chest. But I will never accept Skipstep as the parent my children deserve. They will see nothing but weakness in him and think that to be their lineage. They will never have the strength to withstand a storm being raised under your cursed sun and your subduing presence."

They had reached the border, Foxstar placed herself exactly on it, waiting for Leatherstar to cross, her head shaking ever so slightly. "You're arrogant Leatherstar, and overestimate your impact on this world. Maybe WinterClan will remember you, but SunClan's already forgotten." She turned then, back towards her own territory. "If these cats do great things, it will not be because of the blood that flows in your veins, but despite it. The Sun is strong and he lends us his strength, without him, there would be nothing, no prey, no plants, and no clans to speak of. Without our deity, you, and everything you care about, does not exist, and you'd do well to remember that."

"Perhaps arrogance isnt such a bad thing. At least I will always have something to hold onto." He replied stepping over the border and turning to face the SunClan leader. "Yes but it also burns." he dipped his head and turned back to the mountain on which he watched the world continue on.
