Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Autumngossamer stiffened remaining very still and despite her tough expression she looked a bit teary eyed. She didn't want to say the wrong thing and get her throat slit so she decided to just stay silent.
"Aw you think we're after your territory? Come on now, we don't care about that, I care more about bringing you back to the league and swishing my knife around beneath your skin where no ones going to care how bad you scream for your life," Lucistic said soothingly and shoved Bloodyrondo's hands behind him fast before sitting up right he opened a pocket inside of his coat and took out some rope, it was probably at this time that everyone could see that Lucistic had a LOT of pockets inside the interior of his coat. He threw one horribly at Senescence, it landed about four feet away from her and then took out his own fastening Bloodyrondo's hands behind his back with a sad amount of difficulty.
"Hey, I know you two were fighting, but you ordered the silly cinnamon roll with whip cream on the side, would you like that now or to go?"
Standing there was Nikkohydrangea holding a plate with a cinnamon roll and then a fresh cup of coffee for Senescence. He was the newly initiated member of SunClan. Nikko was 17 years old with silky galaxy blue dyed hair and dead emotionless blue eyes that splintered like ice. His skin was on the darker side and while previously his hair had been kept past shoulder length he had cut it to a short wispy that now stopped above shoulder length. If it wasn't for his voice it would have been hard to guess his gender.
"Oh my gosh thank-you so much, I can't believe I was actually going to leave without that um... You know, I have my hands full, I'll take it to go," Lucistic decided.
"Okay, do you want your refill to go too?" Nikko asked looking blankly at Senescence.
Duskslayer at this point recognized that Lucistic and Senescence were distracted and carefully up as to not disturb the chair. If he could get outside, find Lucistic and Senescence's vehicles and slash the tires then they would be safer than they were now. So with speed being his best bet he quickly hopped over the counter and dashed towards the kitchen.
(Since you're rping Sen I'm just going to remind you that I don't care how bad my characters get hurt so long as they don't die so go crazy if you want xD)
The door opened with a bang, "Moonlitnocturne I swear when I find you-" The voice trailed off, the source of it a light skinned woman with long black hair pulled back, blue eyes, a tan winter coat on. Black gloves, black jeans and black combat boots. Jetclaw's eyes narrowed after they had swept over the scene in front of her. "What in the name of the Sun is going on here? You know what, never mind, I don't care," She stuck her hands in her coat pocket letting out an irritated sigh. "Has anyone seen Moonlit, was chasing him and he turned a corner and I lost track of him. Asshat is trying to escape again... or something." She added since admittedly she didn't know. But when wasn't Moonlitnocturne trying to escape.
"Nikko seriously? You've been here this whole time and have just been watching?!" Bloodyrondo started to struggle against his restraints but it was pointless. All it did was rub his wrists raw: He gave up pretty quick, "I hope you at least spit in that stupid coffee or so help me...!" To punctuate his statement, he spit on the floor and, much like his name, it was bloody. He'd cut the inside of his mouth with his teeth when he was punched and could already feel his face swelling. This entire situation was so ridiculous. The League was tying up some SunGang members while being served coffee by a SunGang member on SunGang turf. The red head turned his attention back to his captor, Lucistic, and taunted with a dangerously sarcastic tone, "Could you tie these restraints even tighter? My hands aren't numb enough! Jesus Christ..."
(Oh yeah same do whatever you want with Bloody just don't kill him or like ruin any of his senses xD)

Sen, of course, turned her head after a moment to look for Dusky, only to see him bolting out the door. Within a heartbeat, the knife had been moved away from Autumn's throat, and in it's place was the rest of her leather jacketed arm, pressing against both of her carotid arteries. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. The moment she slumped unconscious from the sleeper hold, Senescence let go, allowing her to drop to the ground like a heavy stone.
Then she bolted for the door, the knife back in her pocket in favor of a razor wire weighted at both ends. It worked especially well as a garrote, and she was already swinging the end of it in a small circle above her head when she shoved past Jetclaw, looking not unlike a cowboy with a lasso. In the next moment, she was out the door and threw the wire for Dusky's legs. It was sharp, and could easily cling to any limb or clothing it caught itself on, which worked to two effects. One, it tore into exposed flesh with ease, and two, it was strong enough to then pull, and hopefully unbalance her cousin before he had the chance to slash her tires. If he managed to hurt her bike, there would be hell to pay, even if tires were easily replaceable.
"Hi welcome to Coffee Crazy, how may I-" Nikkohydrangea recited automatically in the most monotone voice until listening to what Jetclaw had to say, "Does he have brown hair and turquoise eyes? Otherwise I don't know who Moonbright is."
He also didn't know Duskslayer's name so he was just going to be guy with brown hair and turquoise eyes. He looked back over to Bloodyrondo, one of four people who he knew their names, "Wow, you don't know me at all. I have a name tag and an apron now, things are different. I don't expect you to understand, but I hope we can still continue our friendship and hey, maybe someday you'll have a name tag and an apron and not-"
The manager opened the door, "Nikko, you're past the clock, take a break!"
Nikko momentarily set down his plate, tore off the name tag and apron, picked up the plate once more, "Alright, I'm going to have lunch now." Looked like he was about to leave, but instead just sat down at a table and started eating Lucistic's cinnamon roll right in front of him while drinking Senescence's refill of coffee.
"NO!!" Lucistic cried out watching him eat his cinnamon roll, but he was too far away, it was either hold onto Bloodyrondo or go over and retrieve what rightfully belonged to him. Senescence left, he didn't have the supervision to make the right decision. Dammit all!! He looked around anxiously before dragging Bloodyrondo with him to go confront Nikko about this cinnamon roll before getting an idea, "hey, you guys seem like friends, why don't you convince Nikko to give me back my cinnamon roll and if you do I'll be a little nicer to you, that sounds fair right?"
Duskslayer moved in a zig zag pattern making sure if she fired anything at him he would at least be an unpredictable target. His right ankle got caught right when he got close to Lucistic's van. A lot of people had a signature weapon, but no one had ever seen his. He often refused to fight and when he did he used blades, but they always seemed too generic to be his true weapon, at least not when you were in the Eerie family. He mumbled something and hunched over grabbing his boot off as fast as he could, stumped it on the ground, a blade emerging from the front tip of the heel and threw it into the vans tire and was going to grab the other when he no doubt realized he was being pulled back over to Senescence. His breathing was tense, but he didn't resist so the skin on the barbs wouldn't be damaged more than they already were. But once again, no fight, no spectacular weapon, it was odd behavior for an Eerie, especially to keep it up for so long.

Okay, the van getting damaged she could handle. Again, though, he took his chance, and then just wasted it by flopping over like a dead fish. It really was a sad sort of display, she noted, pulling hard to drag him in close. Luckily, these were quality gloves, so the damage to the leather didn't shred them to bits. Of course, it did help that she wasn't trying to grate the wires around her hand, that might actually have done a significant bit of damage. "Could you at least pretend to fight like an Eerie?" She sighed as she hauled him to his feet, deftly untangling the wire from his leg and then gently wrapping it around his neck, pulling it just tight enough to feel the sharp sting, but not so much it actually hurt him yet. "Now, if you move too fast, you'll kill yourself, so let's take this nice and slow, okay?" She had the wire wrapped around her left hand, also using it to grasp the back to Dusky's shirt. Kept the pressure relatively consistent, but if he pulled too hard, he'd not only tear apart his neck, but he'd be stopped by the sheer fact she was holding his clothing at the collar.
Now, she pressed forward a little bit, making them walk to the van and indicating they should kneel so she could reach out and grab the shiv boot, not really bothering to inspect the tire itself as she picked it up. "Interesting shoe." She commented, looking at it for a long moment before handing it to him. "I'd put it on, unless you're keen to walk on uneven footing. Then we'll go back inside and see what kind of trouble my brother's gotten himself into."
Bloodyrondo winced as he was drug across the cafe by the sugar-depraved Lucistic. He was embarrassed to be carried like some doll and did his best to make it as hard as he could by wrapping his legs around chairs and tables. All that he really succeeded in doing was twisting his ankle; nothing he did seemed to slow down this enemy. Nikko was now in Bloody's line of sight and he felt his face begin to burn once more as he watched who he thought was his friend casually eat lunch while he was tied up and literally being kidnapped. He laughed deeply at Luc's request, like it what world would someone trade a cinnamon roll for mercy? Well, maybe he could use this to prove a point, "Hey Nikko, can you spare a bite of your cinnamon roll? It looks awfully good. You're going to have to put it directly into my mouth though since my hands are a little tied up right now and clearly you don't want to do anything about that."
Duskslayer's gaze looked off to the side knowing he should be ashamed of himself for not putting up a fight. "I don't want to fight," He said looking her in her eyes this time. He was lying, there were times he wanted to fight back especially now, they were being unfair kidnapping the patrol for no reason other than for their own pleasure. But anytime an Eerie had an especially epic battle or kill that was the start, someone always took notice, used them, manipulated them. Glow killing a leader evolved into killing dozens of people. Sean killing Kenya devolved into his depression. There was a term for when you hit the Eerie Mode of combat and that was "Going Dark" and he didn't want to ever unleash that side of himself.
He watched as Senescence untangled the wire from his leg, but immediately tried to push away when he saw her try and move it around his neck. "C'mon Senescence, please?" He begged, but had to eventually stand still so she wouldn't cut him. Once she was done he could feel the sharpness against his neck and looked up at her as she spoke. Losing eye contact with her towards the end he replied with a simple okay feeling embarrassed to be walked around like this. Most of his childhood he grew up believing Senescence and Lucistic were his older half siblings, it felt off thinking anything different.
Taking the shoe Senescence had handed back to him he slipped it back on, "Thank-you, I make them myself and someday I'm going to make rocket shoes."
At the mention of Nikkohydrangea's name he looked up at Bloodyrondo and took a long sip of coffee, which was pretty impressive considered how bitter Senescence's choice in coffee was. He looked skeptical at first placing his cup down, but blushed immediately at the idea of feeding it to Bloodyrondo.
"What the heck, you traitor!" Lucistic hissed and was about to pull Bloodyrondo back when Nikko grabbed Bloodyrondo away from Lucistic first and pushed down his sleeve revealing a long thick plate of metal banded to his arm. When Lucistic tried to come near he made a motion with his other hand as a giant metal shield fanned out blocking Lucistic's attempts.
With his fork Nikko chopped a piece of the cinnamon roll and held it up to Bloodyrondo's mouth, "You can have a quick bite before I untie you," He said, the warmth in his cheeks wasn't too obvious, but the shyness was. In the background they could hear Lucistic banging against the shield and trying from various angles, but Nikko's arm followed his movements.
'Please' really didn't have an effect on her, even to someone who was raised as a supposed younger sibling. Senescence was a League cat, he had to remember, and she did what she wanted, when she wanted. Besides, if she were captured, she'd have expected similar treatment, it was simply part for the course to ensure you didn't end up on the losing side. Slowly moving to stand up again she shrugged. He didn't want to fight? Sure, whatever. All that seemed to get him is random bouts of rebellion that resulted in constraints that could kill him because he didn't want to sit still as she'd so 'kindly' warned him before. "Not sure how useful they'd be to me, but maybe later we could talk about me buying a pair of these, and maybe investing in the rocket ones. Black market rent tends to pay well, just don't tell Funk or Luc that I'm better with money than they think or I'll kill ya." Rarely, if ever did the League tend to keep money saved up. But Sen wasn't an idiot, and really, she didn't need to spend frivolously. Not that she'd admit she had any money. She'd spent too long fudging the numbers, probably more than she spent doing her actual duties, and she didn't need anyone in the League, even Luc, to know about it.
Still, the strangely cordial conversation had to end at some point, and soon they were stepping back around Jet and back into the shop, watching Lucistic try to get around a shield for a bite of cinnamon roll. Sen, naturally, didn't help, and instead leaned up next to the door as she turned to look at the girl who was apparently searching for someone clearly not here. "What's he look like? Doubt he's here though." Could she try to take Jet with? Sure, and maybe she'd consider that in a minute. But, for the moment, she had time to kill until her brother either gave up, the food was gone, or he murdered the two for not sharing, rather than choosing to torture them in the League. Besides, she may as well stay by the entrance to make sure no one got out on her watch, though few would likely cause too much of a stir with her when Dusky was wearing that wire. Any attack on her would kill him too, after all.
Jetclaw realizing that Moonlit was not there and her fellow cultists were struggling against Lucistic moved to draw her weapon. But stopped as she watched Nikkohydrangea hold back Lucidtic from getting to Bloodyrondo with his shield.
“This is ridiculous,” she muttered. Why were they allies with PI it all PI wanted to do was start crap? However she’d fought Sen once, and she’d been unfazed by Jetclaw’s efforts. Sure, Jetclaw had grown in the past years since the encounter. But brute strength wouldn’t faze them, or get them out.
“What do you non believers want? If you’re looking for your mother she’s with Day further south.”
Bloodyrondo moved his arm to flip Lucistic off but obviously couldn't because they were still bound. Out of options, he shifted his attention to Nikko. The dude ended up coming through after all, what a mad lad. He was about to turn so Nikko could untie him but watched as the guy cut a piece of the cinnamon roll out and brought the fork up to his face. The sweet smell of sugar and cinnamon made his heart race. And was that the ooey-gooey center piece? How could Bloodyrondo not blush? He half opened his mouth and accepted the morsel which quickly dropped any cool-kid facade he had up; the red head looked like a regular kid in a candy store (well, with a slightly swollen face), "Damn dude, killer cinnamon roll, I could kiss you right now." He saw the look on Nikko's face at the comment and backtracked with a nervous laugh, "...No homo though, I just really, uh, appreciate it. Now I would also really appreciate you getting these ropes off my arms so I can help you kick this guy's ass."
“Sounds like a deal,” Duskslayer said and lifted his finger in a pinkie promise that he would never tell a soul about her financials.
He looked at Jetclaw when they walked back in. He hadn’t realized how much he wanted to slouch until he had to keep his head up straight to keep the wire from pinching into his skin.
“I know where my moms at, thank-you very much,” Lucistic said before taking his gun out and firing it at the shield, but everyone one simply fell off as if he was throwing pebbles at it.
Despite the sound of gun shots ringing in the background Nikkohydrangea was pretty sure this was what love felt like. As cheesy as it might sound the world felt warmer like any moment now cartoon hearts would be radiating off of him.
“I could kiss you right now.”
He stiffened and blinked, this was the moment in all the movies where he was supposed to lean across the table and kiss him briefly before remembering there was a guy who was willing to murder them for a cinnamon roll in which case they would have a super cool fight scene and kiss at the end. Nikko leaned forward only for Bloodyrondo to back off from what he was saying, but laughed nervously in return as he leaned forward a bit more to get to the rope, “I’ll be the shield, you’ll be the sword,” Nikko responded pulling the rope loose from his friend. His heart ached like it had heart burn, but at the same time in this moment looking at Bloodyrondo he would still fight a war for him..
At this point Lucistic was just kneeling on the floor banging his fist pathetically against the shield, “You’re sick cruel people!”
Nikko gave Bloodyrondo a nod, “Attack as much as you want, but when I see a hit coming I’m going to move in front of you to block it and you’ll attack again. Now do something cool like jump off the table and kick him,” he smiled shyly.
"Well okay," Bloodyrondo was a little put off by the way Nikkohydrangea was eyeing him, but he was more than happy to indulge the barista's suggestion. It sounded dope plus it was the perfect chance to get some payback for that punch from earlier. He didn't climb up on the table, though, instead opting for a chair since it was easier to move. He put it into position, took a few steps back, clapped his hands and ran forward, using the chair a step to propel himself into the air. Bloody had not been in many fights so the idea of landing on Lucistic with both of his feet sounded like a good idea at the time; however, the second his shoes made contact with Luc's coat a more pressing problem appeared. Gravity. His opponent's body naturally rolled away from him under his weight - you know, Newton's third law - and took him from vertical to horizontal. Bloody hadn't fully lost his footing yet but was one well-placed blow away from being on his back. The confident look on his face when he launched the attack shifted to mild panic as he watched for Lucistic's reaction. At least the jump and the attack looked really, really cool.
"Yeah, we're not looking for our mom. We're looking for captives, clearly." Sen commented, gesturing at her cousin with her free hand as though this should have been something quite obvious by now. "My recommendation is surrender now, and don't end up like Dusky here, restrained at the very real risk of death because you tried to fight. She flipped open the switchblade again in a heartbeat and extended her arm, resting it lightly against Jetclaw's neck. It was a threat, and the likelihood she could kill the Sun Gang member before she could fight back was pretty high, even with being, uh, tied up with Dusky and the garrote she had wrapped around his neck.
"Lucistic, I'll buy you a dozen cinnamon rolls later. Just get them subdued." She raised her voice to carry to the one with the shield, and Bloodyrhondo as he started attacking. "And I'd recommend not fighting too hard, Sun Cultist. One wrong move, and I can kill Dusky for certain, and have a decent chance of killing the girl here too. So, maybe rethink the whole fighting thing if you don't want to kill your cult members, or end up like Autumn on the ground and unconscious."
Jetclaw narrowed her eyes. The blade was light, and Jetclaw was fairly quick as long as she committed. The question was what was her move then? Senescence was an opponent who cared not for the pain she endured. And it was only recalling their last fighting encounter did she recognize this.
But Jetclaw wasn’t about to surrender.
So instead in a smooth movement she leaned away and brought up an arm to knock the blade out of her immediate vicinity. Shifting on her feet, dropping into a defensive stance. Feet set hip distance, knees bent, hands up ready to fight.
“Now where’s the fun in that?” Jetclaw asked, glancing between Senescence and Lucistic before focusing on Senescence, letting bloody rondo and nikkohydrangea deal with Lucistic.
Senescence was the better killer, but Jetclaw hadgotten fast enough she was confident she could intervene before the league member could kill Duskslayer. And if Senescence went for Autumn that would take far longer for the league member.
Unless Sen had something else with reach, Jetclaw shifting a hand close to her pocket at that thought.

Oh, oops, there goes that knife. Sen mused, letting it clatter out of her hand and to the ground without much resistance, rather than trying to hold on or or push forwards into actually attempting murder. All the while she shifted, slipping herself behind Dusky and giving him just a small push forward, even the subtle, relatively slow, movement causing the tightly wrapped razor wire to prick into his skin. There was no freeing him from this unless the scarred Proxy very, very carefully unwound the wire from first her own gloved hand, and then carefully pulled it away from his throat. As it was, all that was needed was for her hand to suddenly pull left or right from it's place gripping the wire and the back part of his shirt collar, and he'd be dead. Or even for one of them to fall, or move too quick.
"No, you're right. What is the fun in that?" Senescence hummed, altogether still far, far too casual for the matter at hand as she slipped her hand into her jacket. She didn't keep nearly the same amount of weapons in her jacket at Lucistic, though she did have a few tricks up her sleeve. The question was, what did she want to use? After all, she wasn't about to take the time to unwind her cousin, though at the same time, she'd just made a deal with him for some boots, so she didn't really fancy murdering him either, though she supposed if worse came to pass, she could just take his shoes to the League and have them fashion her a pair that way.
As Senescence pushed Duskslayer forwards and Jetclaw watched as the razor wire dug into his skin, she gritted her teeth blue eyes moving up over Duskslayer's form, trying to gauge where a weakness could be. And found none.
'Damn, what to do, what to do?' She needed to do something legs shifting subtly, hand twitching eager to take action. Then she clenched her fist. If she waited for Senescence to grab whatever she was going for she might have something just as bad as that razor wire whip, meaning she'd reach Jetclaw regardless.
So Jetclaw rushed in, jumping onto a nearby table for height, and pushing off of it, sending it clattering to the floor as she jumped off it, twisted mid air and dropped down behind Senecence. She didn't waste time immediately trying to get her in a headlock.
Post by Honeystorm on Feb 20, 2020 15:42:02 GMT -5
She really did have a death wish for Dusky. But, ah, that was okay. She kicked out her cousin's legs as Jetclaw came down, dropping down to kneel on one knee and pulling an item at random from her jacket before moving the arm to elbow the girl directly in her kneecap and hopefully unbalance her. Fighting with a prisoner wasn't preferable, especially when basically any sudden movement would kill him, but hopefully she'd timed his fall well enough with her own drop that whatever harm the movement did it was minimal. It didn't put her in a great place, even with the headlock avoided, and unfortunately, all she had in her hand was a syringe that she gripped tightly. At least it was filled. With what? Who could know except her. Whatever it was, Jetclaw could only guess, but she almost certainly didn't want whatever it was.
Lucistic fell to the floor and looked up at Senescence, he was having fun, but having a dozen cinnamon rolls later sounded even better! He immediately leapt up onto his feet with an impressive display of core strength and directly went to kick Bloodyrondo down, but Nikko was there in an instant and instead hit the shield. He had sort of forgotten about that new obstacle. Nikko had backed off once more, but when Lucistic moved fast to knock Bloodyrondo down again, Nikko was there. Normally, this would be fun to keep kicking at a metal divider until his bones felt like mush, but dammit, he was getting a cinnamon roll and Nikko was not going to foil that plan again. He removed the headphones from around his neck, went in for the kick, felt his boot hit the metal for the third time and watched as Nikko lowered the shield and backed off, this time he threw the headphones at Nikko. They were big and clunky and almost seemed alive by the way that they opened up upon catching air and then clung around Nikko's ears the moment they were in vicinity.
For a moment Nikko tried to take them off, but the moment didn't last long as he let out a groan, shutting his eyes as his hands gripped at the headphones, trying to tear them off. His eyes opened wide this time as he fell to his knees, his eyes tearing up in pain, it was hard to tell what the headphones were doing whether it was drills pressing into ears, sound, or perhaps something mentally tormenting.
"I'll turn the volume up, I've had guys bleed from the ears, never able to hear again from this so your call. Don't worry though, it's not like he can hear our conversation. All I'm asking from you is to kneel down, get you restrained again and I can just drag you the rest of the way," Lucistic said like it was the kindest offer he could do.
Duskslayer avoided Jetclaw's gaze feeling stupid for being used as an example of what happens when you basically cross Senescence. Although if all of his friends weren't around he would not have decided to fight back. But he actually cared about Autumngossamer and wanted to do his best to defend SunGang with Bloodyrondo. His eyes widened watching Jetclaw take Senescence's wrist, "Where's the fun in that, how about the fun in surrendering is that I'm alive. That's fun," Duskslayer retorted. Wow. Jetclaw was going to get him killed. This wasn't a noose, this was more like daggers pointed around his entire neck and one wrong twitch could cause irreparable damage. Duskslayer took his phone out and texted Littlestar a vague text message, If I die today, Jetclaw killed me, I want justice #Justice4Dusky. He sent the message and attempted to put it back in his pocket until he dropped to the ground suddenly, his phone skidding across his floor. That's okay, that was his least favorite phone.
"I am SO tempted to switch personas to the league one, I swear to Sun God, Jetclaw!" Duskslayer said icily. If Senescence had anyone else he was pretty certain she would have already decided to murder them in front of Jetclaw now and even with them sharing the same blood he was pretty certain she wasn't entirely against killing him.
"Hey, she's your cousin, why didn't you do that earlier? Maybe you wouldn't be in this mess?" Jetclaw hissed temper flaring as pain erupted in her knee where Senescence had struck her. She saw the phone slide away, hopeful for a moment that perhaps someone had called for backup. As desire to go down fighting rather than surrendering, help would be appreciated. But that hope died quick as somehow she doubted Duskslayer had tried to maybe message for help. He'd gotten caught in barbed wire and he was related to Senescence. Jetclaw didn't pretend to understand the eerie family. They made no sense. They did whatever they wanted.
She'd pointed a gun at Senescence a couple of years ago and she'd brightened up and asked Jetclaw if they were going to play Russian Roulette for the Sun God's sake!
She forced herself back to her feet taking a few steps back, tossing off the winter coat in a flourish, cause duck it she was going down with a semblance of cool. Before Senescence ruined it all, by being Senescence.
Either by being totally fine with dying (or well, making Jetclaw feel like she was fighting some defenseless victim as she refused to freaking move or fight back until she'd pulled out the gun in frustration), or by totally fine killing her family because she just felt like it that day as was the case for today.
If only she still carried a gun, could've pulled it out and been like 'hey why don't we play a game!'. That'd at least maybe possibly derail everything.
Simply because it'd be unexpected.
But she couldn't come up with anything unexpected quick enough so instead she made a furious noise hands flailing for a moment as she fought to think of something and instead just went with her usual response of. Something's frustrating you? Hit it.
So she wound up, had to aim lower admittedly so she shifted to crouching and moved to hit Senescence in the back of the head.
