NIGHTCLAN Spot Ahava Vairocana "Don't worry about your friend. He seems to have someone looking out for him." Though the apprentice didn't specify, it was likely rather obvious she was talking about Kotori, especially considering that if one looked, Zakiyyah, the tom's brother, was downright sprinting towards the waters where he'd last been seen. Turning her burned face back to the NightClan leader, Cana began to check the feline over, occasionally tilting her head in thought of what she'd need to grab from the leaf pouch she had set next to her. At one point, however, she did lean particularly close to Flamingstar's ear, her voice a whisper so as to not be overheard. "I'd be careful of who sees you interacting with Kotori from now on. It might give them some sort of idea of the cat you are." Even with her quiet tone, the meaning of her words seemed to suggest that Cana knew more than she was letting on about Flamingstar's role in all this. All the same, she didn't seem accusatory, and went right back to working on the leader without much fuss.
SPRINGCLAN Thistlestar - strawberrycupid Thistlestar watched as the clan cats worked quickly at reinforcing the log. His shoulder ached painfully as he continued to press hard against the log. He glanced over at Lionwhisper who was also pressed hard against the other end of the log. With the quick work, the cat's had reinforced the log well. They just needed a bit more time and strength from the Springclan leader. In the time he stood supporting the log, water had been splashing off of log and wetting him, leaving him dusty pelt in wet and muddy state of disarray. Something in the leader's gut told him he could let go and this end of the log would hold up just fine, but he remained, wanting to ensure 100 percent that the log would hold up with the additional reinforcements. Having been so focused on the cats ahead of him, he failed to see a Shadow Era cat tail lengths from him, eyeing the stone that kept him steady against the log...
* strawberrycupid I like this! Using the rock he is using to keep stable to cause him to slip. It can be a Mufasa/Scar scene where Thistle struggled to get back up and Lorelei has the high ground and just drop kicks him back hard enough he gets launched into the flow of the flood that is getting redirected thanks to the log.
DAYCLAN @spot Jetclaw Glowstar’s breath was trapped in her throat as she watched the water pour back out. Her gaze turned to Kotori, he was being swept down the river, her nephew. Would Sean ever forgive her if she let him drown? She looked back to the others, she had to leave Kotori alone. It was either save Kotori and possibly let the world end by not helping or give up on Kotori to try and save the world. Kotori had made his choice, Glowstar ran over into what was now truly a river. The other warriors of NovaClan were doing a good job holding the water back, but there were cracks still coming through. Dammit! Glowstar’s gaze searched around, but suddenly caught on Fawnheart and Softpelt, there was a stick they were holding with berries attached, “HEY!” Glowstar called as she slowly waded over to them through the rising waters, “Use the berries on the crack, those things harden like two-leg paths, but DON’T use your mouth. I’ve seen those before, they’re these rare berries in Absum Lux, but poisonous… Not that me knowing that is weird, I just uh, yeah okay I assassinated someone with those, but go use them on the cracks!”
SHADOW ERA Kotori Honeystorm Kotori felt himself rise off of the ground. In moments like these he liked to focus his gaze on the last thing he’d see, the times when he knew it was the end, but there wasn’t a chance too. In a blur he was tossed into the water only shrouding his vision more. His heart raced as Kotori struggled to try and get his head above water and he found that it was easier in some moments than others. The current would push him up to the surface, but down again, nature wasn’t predictable like cats and he found he couldn’t anticipate when to take a breath and when to hold one. Fear gripped his heart as he tried his best to focus on keeping his head above water, “ZAK!” Kotori called knowing that would do him in, water filled up his mouth as he coughed, but it only kept drowning him. It was hard to fight for breath and to keep his head above the surface. He struggled on trying to fight the current, but his limbs were weighing more and the choking pain was crushing any sense of rational thought inside of him. Somewhere buried down he regretted calling for Zakiyyah, she wasn’t much better at swimming than him that he knew of. If she came in the water, tried to help, he could drown her with the current from the raw panic lit inside of him.
Xuxa @gidgetgal Xuxa looked up at Gardenia, she could feel the water spread beneath her, “Gardenia, I’d like you to carry me as far as you can… But if it becomes too much you let go of me. I mean it,” She said with a hard glare to Gardenia knowing that if she didn’t try to be tough with her there was no way her big sister was going to leave her alone.
Autumngossamer Jetclaw racer “How DARE you two. Also get the heck out of here Illuminatedpath, you’re a traitor to SunClan after you didn’t even try to stick around! Sure, I’m not the,” She cringed as it hurt to say it, “Best member of SunClan, but at least I looked around and realized, hey, this place is my home, I need to be loyal to the cats here. You just up and left! But whatever dude, you have your life with Windchaser, I hear you have daughters now so good on you I guess.”

ERA OF SHADOWS
MoonlitnocturneJetclaw Guess he should have expected as much. He gave Jetclaw a chance to end this fight, go help out and all that. But this was better. The roar of the water didn't even touch his ears as Jetclaw leapt on him. Lowering himself, he kicked off the ground when he felt her teeth in his shoulder. The combined momentum sent the pair tumbling further away from the dam. Moonlit twisted out of her grasp before raking his claws along her flank and biting down on that same spot he got before. There was no point in playing anymore, he was out to kill her.
Designerdarling This was the only time Designer found herself grateful for living in Winterclan. The slick bark didn't bother her as she joined Squirrelleap in the V of the tree. Whipped by the wind, her long pelt puffed up as she could only watch the water begin to rush down the mountain. It hadn't hit her until now just what she signed up for. Even from this high up, she could see how ferocious and monstrous the flood was. Guilt burned in her, but she couldn't curl up like she wanted to. She was still struggling for purchase so high up. "Sorry." Was a word she could only mutter for a little relief.
Lorelei ManinaConsuela Admittedly, Lorelei didn't even notice Thistlestar holding the log up. She was too focused on the shiny. Hopping to the next stone suddenly led to her bumping into the Springclan leader. The stone underneath them was certainly not big enough for the two large cats, not that Lorelei showed any intention of moving. "Hey. What'cha doin?" Her odd eyes caught a glimmer of something near the leader's feet that was definitely just water, but she kept batting at them anyway.
Softpelt Softpelt blinked surprised by Glowstar's knowledge, then understanding and a bit of wariness crossed her face too. But at least now they knew what the berries were. The deathly poison that Blakelystar and Silverpelt had spoke of. Quickly Softpelt moved aside and found a rock that had yet to be disturbed, she carefully plucked a few berrys and grabbed another rock, it was a bit tricky but she managed to mash some of the berries into a mash that she quickly put onto some leaves to make it easier to spread. "Here," She passed a leaf to Fawnheart and to Glowstar, "Get them on the cracks, I'll make more if we need some."
She also filed away the location of these berries for future knowledge. It seemed strange that such dangerous berries were so useful in dire times. But she wasn't complaining.
DayClan FaithSpot (in case you wanted to have Windchaser come in and back up Illuminatedpath's judge of Autumngossamer's character XD)
Illuminatedpath Illuminatedpath did not move, though he smiled. "And yet you're not so loyal are you? You're lying to your leader's face. Using your position to try and manipulate things to get what you want, and that for some reason is letting everything flood. You have no loyal, not to your home, DayClan, though I know you try to forget Heatherpaw." He reverted to her old name. "You're still the same manipulative bully, you just moved and got bigger and got more power."
Jetclaw Jetclaw twisted smacking his paws and then headbutted him head on. It caused sparks of pain to erupt through her skull but if she was feelign the hurt, a direct hit right to his face had to hurt him too.
NightClan
Squirrelleap Squirrelleap glanced at her when she said 'sorry'. He considered her a moment. "Well, at least you're sorry." He said at last. "But why in StarClan's name would you want to flood everything? You smell like WinterClan, this is your home too." He pointed out.

SHADOW ERA Faith Zakiyyah never was far from Kotori. For the vast majority of the battle, the former spy had been weaving in an out gathering information and keeping an eye on her brother. The moment he'd been shoved into the water, it was like the world stopped. No. No! NO! She'd given up everything for him, and there was no way she was going to lose him to some jealous second rate clan warrior. In an instant, the long legged crimson devil was off. For a brief moment, her gaze met Glowstar, right before the DayClan leader turned away from her nephew, and her eyes narrowed as she sprinted faster towards the water. His call didn't even register in her mind until she was already leaping in after him, gracefully diving into the water and hauling him above by the scruff, her large size for once valuable to her. "Stop struggling, follow the current." She ordered, her voice an authoritative hiss. True, she wasn't the best swimmer, but she did know that fighting the waves would only wear her out, and that flailing in panic would do the same. "Take a deep breath and we'll let it carry us."
SUNCLAN JetclawracerJadie Foxbane, by luck or fate, happened to be close to Oakpaw, Tinypaw, and Feinignorance. In a fashion true to her past self, she shoved her way between Oakpaw and her grandchild, baring her teeth at him and swiping for his face. "Tinypaw, now!" She yelled to her daughter, the intent clear. Family or not, Feinignorance would die.
SPRINGCLAN Thistlestar Suddenly, a heavy figure bumped roughly into Thistlestar, causing him to slip his shoulder roughly off the side of the log. The tom grunted softly as his body leaned over threateningly over the rock. Had it not been for his core strength, the leader would have fallen, but he barley managed to sway back to lean back onto the log which had creaked threateningly in his absence. His green orbs narrowed as he took in the she-cat next to him with complete shock and anger. Initially unsure of the alliance the she-cat had, it became evident her interest was not with them as she strangely found intrigue in the raging water next to him. His footing become more unstable as he fought to gain more space but ultimately slipped, falling in the mud and towards the flash flood. Thistlestar reached frantically for some sort of support in the mud, finding a small rock buried under the mud. It wasn't enough to put him up entirely, but it was enough surface to keep him from the flood's current. He groaned under his breath, his muscles aching painfully as he held on, returning his gaze back to the she-cat just less than a tail length away from him.

ERA OF SHADOWS
MoonlitnocturneJetclaw Getting headbutted sent him back a little, stars forming in the corner of his vision. His brain was beginning to catch up with all the injuries he's sustained. Parts of his cream pelt were dyed pink as each of those scratches and bites bled. The headbutt made his nosebleed, a single line of blood running down his face. Gee, why now. This fight had barely begun. Was he really that rusty? He had trouble seeing. Did he hurt her too? He hoped so. Traces of his blood leaked into his mouth and he spat them out. She wasn't gonna wait for him and he wasn't done till he was dead. Darting to the side, he slipped past an attack and tackled her hard enough to knock the wind out of the other Sunclan cat.
Designerdarling Here wasn't really a place for Designer to feel embarrassed, but it was. She couldn't really face Squirrelleap, mindlessly fiddling with her tail. "I don't have some deep-seeded hate for the clans, so don't start thinking that." Gee, was she really about to open up to this guy? The Winterclan warrior figured and sighed. "I was in a relationship before joining Winterclan. It was never well, and ended worse. They said if they found me, they'd kill me. I figured a flood would either kill them or at least chase them off so I could get off this stupid mountain."
Lorelei ManinaConsuela Oh yeah, she was supposed to be stopping this dam, right. Right. She didn't know the Springclan leader, nothing would have stopped her from charging after him. Water splashed out from around her paws as she skidded towards him. The tree behind them stayed in place, though probably just barely. Lorelei looked out at the crowd of cats, all working together to fix this. It looked like the plan failed. She needed to get out of here. What would Senescence do if she found out? Probably swear off ever fighting her. Lorelei couldn't handle that. She lightly bonked Thistlestar on the head, before placing a paw on his chest and pushing him to lose his grip. "Hey, let's go, guy. If Mom finds out, I'm alive meat. I can't handle that." Of course, she followed him down the river.

SUNCLAN Tinypaw jumped to the side as Foxbane appeared and pushed her aside to confront her son. She hadn't wanted this... she didn't want to fight him, but she couldn't just stand by and watch either. Where had Foxbane come from anyway? She turned to look at Oakpaw, just as Foxbane's orders reached her ears. At her her mother's order she leaped, latching onto Feigningignorance's throat. It was an automatic reaction, from moons of being trained to obey her every command. How many times had she ordered such when out hunting snakes? Back then a delay meant getting bitten, or worse punished by foxbane herself for the hesitation. It was only as her fangs sank deep into him, and his body began to go limp that the full realization of what she had done began to sink in. She blinked, eyes wide with horror as she released and his body fell to the ground. JetclawHoneystormJadie
Littlestar looked between the three cats, listening to each as they spoke. So Autumngossamer had been lying this whole time after all... She felt a twist in the pit of her stomach. She had tried to give the Soothsayer the benefit of the doubt, but as it stood now. She stood to her full height, sauntering over and staring into her eyes "You..." she hissed softly, fury flickering in her golden gaze raising up one of her front paws, her claws emerged gleaming "I should leave you here....allow the waters to carry you away" she moved it forward allowing them to dance across the she-cat's throat "but that would be a mercy you don't deserve, the Sun God doesn't look lightly on betrayal" Faith
NIGHTCLAN Turbulentsea, had stood back and watched as the chaos whirled around him. He was a healer, not a fighter. His frail body didn't allow for it, an even being so close to all of this made him nervous. He had luckily managed to stay out of sight, dragging the NightClan wounded out of the battle to treat. But this time, the crowd had begun to clear though a few fights still were happening. His green eyes flickered back and forth until he saw the form of summersolstice, bloodied and coated in mud. He almost hadn't recognized her under it all, but the sweet scent that filled his nose was unmistakable. He had been cautiously weaving through the fihgting cats to get to her, when he saw it... Ericanorth about to leap onto her... In her weakened state she wouldn't stand a chance. "NNNNOOOO BURNINGSTAR" he screamed, his back legs pushing and sending mud flying to the air as he leaped over Burningstar and onto the she-cat. His long fangs sinking into her throat@ifaith1@jetclaw
Dovewish The gray she-cat nodded to her mother and began running back and forth, carrying as many branches as she could. It was until then that she saw out of the corner of her eye, Thistlestar slip and fell toward the river. She saw a cat she didn't quite recognize push him from his paw hold and she watched him disappear into the current. "No!" She screamed, dropping the branches from her jaws, fear causing her heart to leap into her throat. Dovewish looked at her mother with an apologetic look before abandoning her to run after Thistlestar. She followed the river, seeing him bobbing in and out of the water but he was too far ahead. She couldn't get to him. Closing her eyes, she leaped into the currents and instantly felt the icy stab as she plunged into the river. Bubbles swirled around her and the water was so full of mud, she could hardly see. A fast flowing log clipped her in the shoulder, creating a large gash but she hardly noticed. Her focus was on Thistlestar which didn't take long to find him. Moving with the current, she was able to get closer and closer to him until finally, she reached him. She gripped his scruff between her teeth and attempted to keep his head above water. She desperately tried to hook onto the bank but each time she tried, she would slip on the mud. After what seemed like forever, a fallen tree that was still attached to the ground was within reach. She paddled through the current until she hooked herself and Thistlestar onto the tree. She sat for a moment, panting as the current swirled around them until she gathered up the strength to pull them to the bank.
Dovewish pulled with all her strength as she climbed the slippery bank with Thistlestar. She slipped and began sliding back toward the river but luckily, a bulging rock stopped her. After some time of fighting through the mud, she managed to pull Thistlestar away from the river. Exhaustion made her collapse and she laid there for a moment, her conciousness going in and out. As she regained a little bit of energy, she turned to Thistlestar. "Thistlestar?" She called to him, her voice shaky and full of emotion as she stared at his limp and soaking wet body. "Thistlestar?" She called again when she heard no answer, her anxiety rising. She bent her head down to check his breathing but heard nothing. "Help! Someone please!" She wailed into the rain before looking down at him and brushing his whiskers with her paw. "Please dont go..." she choked, burying her face into the curve of his neck. "Please...I love you..." She whispered as a tear rolled down her cheek as a lump formed in her throat. She had promised herself she would never fall in love but seeing Thistlestar laying lifeless in her arms made her realize that love did exist and that was what she was feeling.
"So that's what Starclan meant!" Fawnheart gasped to Softpelt as Glowstar instructed them to use the herb they found. She followed Softpelt to the crack and began filling it with the sealant. Then she realized something. "Wait. Wheres Thistleatar?"
Mellori "Ha!" She mocked before Cardinalsong lunged at her but she was ready for him. Or so she thought. She was just about to duck out of the way of his paw when he suddenly went low and swiped her paws out from under her. Unable to catch herself due to the mud, she slipped and landed into the mud. "Aw, my pretty fur" she groaned, rising to her paws and hearing the sucking of the mud as she did so. "Yuck! This is going to take me moons to get out!" She turned to face Cardinalsong, a pouty look on her face.
Flamingstar withdrew from the she-cat, a look of surprise on her face. Did Cana know she was responsible for all of this and that she had sought aid from Kotori? "What are you saying?" She demanded, fear that Cana knew something made her sound forceful.
(Jetclaw , do you really think we should bring hotheaded Windchaser into the mix? The ground is littered with sticks right now. She would pick one up and start stabbing people XD)
Summersolstice The sound of her old name made Summersolstice’s ears prick and she turned, eyes widening as she saw Ericanorth... and then more surprisingly Turbulentsea, rushing in and clamping his jaws around Ericanorth’s neck. She was... stunned. Her injuries and the muck slowing her movements so all she could do in those moments as crimson came from Ericanorth, was stare, Amber eyes wide.
Softpelt Softpelt turned towards where she’d last seen Thistlestar... only for there to be a noticeable lack of their leader. She looked around for any sign of him when she heard Dovewish’s yowl. “I think I might have an idea, Fawnheart keep patching the hole with Glowstar, I’ll get to Thistlestar.” She meowed setting aside the berries and hurrying off to where Dovewish had called.
Cardinalsong Cardinalsong bounced back to his paws. “Getting out floodwater from the clans would’ve been impossible if you’d had your way,” he pointed out tersely
Feinignorance Feinignorance stiffened eyes widening in stunned shock as Tinypaw obeyed Foxbane. He hadn’t expected her to go through with it. But now blood was Welling up from her bite and his breathing became ragged he stumbled trying to keep his paws but his strength was leaving him. He fell to the ground wide eyed and gasping. This was why he should’ve just gone on. He hadn’t even gotten a kill. He let out a choking laugh. His eyes fell on Foxbane looking up at his grandmother. Couldn’t even kill him herself, he tried to sneer despite him rapidly approaching deaths door. Wanting to spite this cat before he left the living world behind.
Jetclaw The dull throbbing immediately became worth it when she saw the blood from his nose. She took great satisfaction, soaking up his pain. Her own justice dished- Then he tackled her to the ground, Jetclaw letting out an oof, Jet black paws immediately rising up on instinct to claw at him but she was disoriented and unable to get a solid blow.
NightClan
Squirrelleap Squirrelleap listened tilting his head. “Your clanmates haven’t helped you deal with that?” He asked. “If he’s a threat to you he could endanger your clan. Surely WinterClan cares for their own to help deal with such a problem. It unsettled him the idea of some cat scaring another they were ready to flood the clans to avoid them. How had her clanmates left her to face such hardship alone?
Windchaser The beautiful ginger she-cat had been sitting with Illuminatedpath, surprisingly quiet. A long scratch went across one of her eyes from a fight when it first begun. She frowned when she saw the hurt in Littlestar's eyes but she was glaring at Autumngossomar. Windchaser had such high hopes for Autumngossmar back when she went by the name Heatherpaw. Now, all Windchaser felt for her was disappointment and resentment. She had betrayed her clan by becoming an initiate and not returning back with them and now she had been lying to Littlestar this whole time. Despite having such hatred for the Sunclan cats, there was some respect she still held for Littlestar. She dug her claws into the earth. If Autumngossmar tried to attack, Windchaser wouldn't hesitate to get in the middle. She would do whatever it took to stop Autumngossamer once and for all. She wasnt fooling her with that look of helplessness and pity.
Fawnheart Fawnheart nodded as Softpelt dashed away toward the sound of Dovewish's voice. Fear clawed at her heart as she thought the worst but she continued with her task.
Just as soon as Bloodyrondo plugged up one hole, another one seemed to appear. He cursed and moved further down to patch one up and brushed shoulders with Mistyrose. He was surprised that she had chosen to be on the side of good... well, actually... had she ever done anything to put SunClan at risk? She had always been very helpful. The ginger tom would have liked her to have a more respectful tone with him, of course. But here she was, in the thick of it, right at his side, "Maybe I was wrong about you."
Bloodyrondo was not known for apologizing or ever admitting when he was wrong, but he had grown a lot over the past few moons. Maybe he would not have said anything if the situation was not so strained. He turned to look at the she-cat to see how she had taken his words only to come face-to-face with Duskslayer instead. Mistyrose was nowhere in sight.
Oakpaw had only heard of Foxbane; he had never seen the infamous she-cat in person. He loosened his grip on Feinignorance when the former Priestess shoved him aside and stepped back, only to get a full view of Tinypaw's attack with promised a clear intent to kill. Oakpaw was dumbfounded. He had figured she would knock him out or just incapacitate him. He wanted as the life began to fade from Feinignorance's eyes and had to look away. He was shaking.
"Oakpaw..." At the mention of his name, he looked back to see Cypresspaw struggling to get back to her feet. He hurried over to her side to steady her, his thoughts put on hold as he took stock of his sister's injuries. There was so much blood it was hard to find the source of it all, but the worst of her wounds had to be at the base of her neck - a deep, six-inch gouge ran down from the nape of her neck to her shoulder blade. He did not want to leave Tinypaw, but he had to find a medicine cat. He hesitated, though, waiting to see if she would follow him or go continue fighting alongside her mother.
Foxbane She watched Feingignorance with an expression of cool pity, but not one ounce of regret, and perhaps only a flicker of sadness at the loss. "Of all the things you could have become, this is the most pathetic." She sighed, giving a short shake of her head before turning to face her daughter. "You did well, Tinypaw." The Senator stated softly, licking the apprentice between the ears. She caught Oakpaw moving to an injured cat nearby from the corner of her eye, and her head turned ever so slightly to get a better look, but for the moment at least, she didn't move for them. Even from here, however, Foxbane could see the she-cat needed treatment. Maybe she could help? Or should she continue to help the others?
"I'll go check up on Thistlestar," Glowstar promised and retreated away from the medicine cats. She moved through the crowd, progress was being made on the hole, she could spare a moment, especially now that the medicine cats had that herb. Suddenly she caught sight of Lorelei, her heart twisting as she saw a shape in the water. She sped up then ran shouldering Lorelei out of the way to see Thistlestar. She turned on Lorelei, but her heart broke just looking at her granddaughter, she placed a reassuring paw over her cheek, "Get far away from the river, Lorelei, I'll handle it from here."
Sometimes it killed her to see her family for what they were, other times it delighted her. That was just the curse of the Eerie family, a primal urge to guard and when there wasn't something to guard, to hurt. Glowstar dove into the water moving underneath Thistlestar and coming up behind him, he was limp. The current moved around them fast, they would be far away if she let the current take them. For a moment Glowstar let go of Thistlestar, she took a breath, grabbed his scruff and took him in under water, underneath the current and up to the shoreline with such a force that she managed to push his head up onto the grass. With the rest of her strength she managed to get Thistlestar half way up and with no strength left managed to slowly pry herself back onto the surface and slowly crawl over to Thistlestar's side. She looked back to see if Lorelei was still there, watching.
Duskslayer grinned at him, "Thanks, to be honest I kind of thought you hated me so that's some good news. If you can bring that last stick over to me I can put it into place and this sealant might actually be done!"
Her gaze toughened the way glass cracked at pressure, but held its place. They surrounded her like rain, no escape, pouring down on her from every angle. She looked as tough as diamonds, but was as fake as plastic, "You don't know what it was like," Autumngossamer said accusingly, their words hitting her like daggers, "I love SunClan, I'm putting everything I care about on the line for this! YES. I don't hear anything from the Sun God, I'm... I'm not special," She admitted. She could already feel the traitorous feeling of tears slipping past her cheeks, choking back sobs, all the things she wished she could remain in control of, but couldn't. "I did this because I couldn't say it! You never looked at me like I could do anything Littlestar! Foxbane wouldn't even look at me when havoc was rampaging. No one in this clan respects me because I'm a freakin' loser!" Autumngossamer wiped at her tears, "I don't know what's wrong with me... I thought I had it all in SunClan, but I don't. I thought that when you become soothsayer you just know what to do. I thought when you become a mom you know how to love."
No one would ever believe her, her only friend was Windchaser, someone who didn't even know she was her friend. How pathetic was that? Illuminatedpath was her first crush, but he ran away from initiation with Winchaser. Littlestar was her leader, the one that was supposed to praise her and look to her, but she looked right through her, like she was nothing. These were the three people that meant so much to her outside of Lovesmitten and before this. They still didn't like her. So really, what did she lose just now? Only her self respect, none of them would get that. The less you had the more you had to lose, doing this was risky and now hopefully the Sun God would finally show himself to her. But if he didn't show up, even if he was going to punish her, somehow that would be so much worse.
Kotori fought against the current struggling until Zakiyyah allowed his head above water for a minute, he managed to relax between coughing fits, but he was already weak. He had lost all oxygen, but not enough had gone to his brain, he felt light headed. He thought the cold would help keep his senses about him, but instead it only numbed him further, "I can't," He whispered, his voice sounded distant to him, but to Zakiyyah it was only soft. "I'm sorry. That I'm a coward." He breathed. Kotori's thoughts going back to when his sister was beaten daily. Even if he hated her, even if she had it coming, he should have died fighting for her pride to be kept in tact. He should have been a better brother and now he was scared he never would. It was funny, he thought he had so much time left.
Ericanorth
Racer
She caught air, her claws so close to Summersolstice, but not quite. Ericanorth turned on Turbulentseas instantly, her pink glare penetrating his stupid dark eyes, it was almost amusing to see how unafraid he was. Acting like the hero as usual and STOPPING her from coming so close to killing Summersolstice, "Are you actually KIDDING ME?" Ericanorth demanded sizing Turbulentseas up, "You're playing with fire here, I am so close to killing a medicine cat." She found herself weirdly satisfied to find the freak not test her. She turned on her paws to finish what she started, but saw Summersolstice's stunned expression, "Surprised to see me?" Ericanorth smirked, but Summerolstice didn't react. She followed her stare down to her. Lying on the ground was herself, her throat sliced open, she placed a paw over her over throat, did she... Die. She thought she would feel it, like feel the pain of her death, did Turbulentseas really kill her that fast? She looked around, why was she still here? She sat down, it was weird looking at her corpse, she didn't look right. Stiff, her eyes all wrong and the way that she laid didn't look comfortable. She placed a white paw over her body, a tingly sensation hit her, but then faded, she watched the light go out of her own eyes.
Frozenfire At the shout of Burningstar which even numb and struggling to move made Frozenfire's lips curl in disgust, she managed to move her head to the source. And felt her heart stop. She watched Ericanorth get caught by Turbulentsea before she could land a killing blow on their traitorous and pathetic former leader. She watched crimson bloom from Ericanorth, and then the albino she cat drop to the ground. She distantly heard screaming, and it didn't fully register that it was coming from her. With strength that came from somewhere Frozenfire didn't even know, Frozenfire managed to shake off the paralysis and run to her mate. "Ericanorth!" Frozenfire wailed slapping her shoulder, burying her nose trying to sense some breathing, or movment, or feel a pulse, anything. "Get up you mousebrain!" She cried. ericanorth was still warm, but the stillness of death was beginning to settle over. No. Nonononono. "GET UP! RIGHT NOW!" Frozenfire ordered nudging her harder with her muzzle. The rain must've been coming down hard because there was a great deal blurring up her vision, and streaming down her muzzle. "I have plans! None of them include you dying so stop it! STOP IT!" She shouted. Ericanorth's blood kept flowing from her throat, her pink eyes vacant and dull. Frozenfire's throat was tight, was the paralysis now taking over her throat? She was having trouble breathing. "GET UP ERICANORTH!" The demand at some point had shifted into a sob. This wasn't supposed to happen. Even when they failed they survived, they learned. They were together. Not anymore.
Illuminatedpath The ginger and white tom watched as Autumngossamer broke down. Even though he knew Windchaser wouldn't approve, or any of the cats, given the laser eyed glare Skipstep was leveling at Autumngossamer. Illuminatedpath moved forwards and rested his tail on Autumngossamer's shoulder. "Respect is earned Autumngossamer," Using her current name now rather than calling her Heatherpaw. "You aren't given it, it's earned. You earn it when you serve your clan, when cats know they can rely on you. When you tell them lies, when you look down on them because of your power, you're not going to get respect. But, admitting to your lies, is a decent start. Recognizing you were wrong is a good thing!" He said gently, "It won't prevent you from having to face the consequences of your actions, but if you turn things around now. You could be better."
SunClan
Skipstep Skipstep's eyes narrowed. "We trusted you!" He hissed to Autumngossamer. "You endangered all of SunClan when you claimed you could read the signs. How dare you! While this DayClan cat clearly sees something worth forgiving, I don't. My mate and children were sick and I had to have faith in you and now I know it was completely misplaced?! And you've even been trying to let this flood happen?! My children are still back in SunClan, with those fast waters, they might not have all made it! Our clanmates might not have all made it. What do you have to say for yourself?!" He demanded hotly blue eyes blazing with fury.
SPRINGCLAN Thistlestar -SpotFaith Thistlestar glared as the stranger she-cat bonked him lightly on the head, growling threateningly at her as his shaky arms fought to hold himself on the small rock protruding from the mud which his back legs feverishly dug into the mud in search for something else to stand on. The she-cat proceeded to place her paw against Thistlestar's chest, erupting yet another deep growl from the Springclan leader, but his position rendered him helpless to the cat's whim. Thistlestar fought against the added pressure, desperately trying to hold on, but his arms could only take so much and before he knew it, his grip slipped off the rock, sending him in the direction of the rushing water. He took in a deep breath before he was suddenly enveloped in a shroud of water. He tumbled under the currents for a while before breaking through the surface for a moment. It was enough to get another deep breath before he was dragged down again by the strong current. He kicked wildly into the water, struggling to swim as he had to experience swimming before. His green orbs opened in the water, in hopes of decifering which way was up, but clouds of foamy bubbles left him lost under the current. Suddenly, his body crashed hard again a large stone, causing Thistlestar to gasp, releasing the little air he had left in his lung. The leader kicked off the rock quickly, leading him to break surface yet again. The tom gasped for air again desperately, his legs kicking wildly in attempt to keep him, but as he traveled further down the current, the water grew stronger, dragging him back down. Fear gripped the tom as he fought hard against the water. This was it, he could feel himself grow weaker and more discombobulated as the current tossed him around helplessly. The stream took a sudden turn, causing the tom to tumbled in the dark abyss once more and before he could grasp anything for support, he slammed painfully against another large boulder, his head whipping back against a hard surface rendering him to sudden darkness...
A sudden urge brought the lifeless leader to heaved forward, throwing up what felt like an endless stream of water out of his body. Thistlestar blinked rapidly, confused and weak as he came to on the dry earth. He gasped loudly for air as he fought to regain some control back, looking up to find the familiar sigh of a grey pelt, which was soaked a stained with water and mud. The Springclan leader looked up suddenly, despite the painful aches that screamed for him to stop moving. "Dovewish..." he breathed heavily, still trying to steady the shakiness in his breath before noting another figure next to him, adorning a fiery red pelt "Glowstar-" he spoke up before coughing up some water which had still be caught in his lungs. As he steadied his breathing, he strangely felt himself grow more stronger and slowly rose to his back haunches, sitting silently as he began to process what had happened. An empty pang in his chest left him confused for a moment, but the more he thought on it, the more it dawned on him "How long was I out..." He asked, though the words came out quiet and eeriely calm despite the traumatic experience.
Softpelt Softpelt hurried over, "Oh thank StarClan you're awake," She meowed when she saw Thistlestar coughing up water. It was a lot of water. A pang hit her in the chest and she looked up at him, he'd likely lost a life through the trip through the swirling floodwaters. Thankfully Glowstar had been able to pull him out before he'd lost more. "Take a moment to recover," She advised her leader.
Cardinalsong Immediately any humor faded from the ginger tom's eyes. He frowned at Mellori, then came up and lifting both paws shoved her head into the mud. "That's for trying to drown the clans, now we'll make it your problem." He said angrily.
Rubyflame Seeing Glowstar and Softpelt rush off the fluffy ginger she cat came up beside Fawnheart carrying several sticks. "Here, use the sealant to seal these to the remaining gaps, best we make sure this'll hold." She said as began to line up the sticks so they could be placed properly.
"I'm not sure Thistlestar, but I don't think it was more than two minutes," Glowstar said, her fur tight against her hourglass body from the cold waters. She began furiously licking at Thistlestars fur the wrong way before lying down beside him, sad that it wouldn't help much since she was just as cold and wet, "We'll get some warmer bodies to lie down beside you, I think you lost a life, but you could lose more if you don't get warm fast."
She flinched at Illuminatedpath's touch, moving away on instinct before even knowing who touched her. She opened her mouth to say something, but stopped when Skipstep began to talk, if the icy look in her eyes were beginning to melt before at Illuminatedpath's words, they were frozen back up again at Skipstep's. "God damn, Skipstep, get ahold of yourself, jeez, like I'm the one freaking out here, okay, so excuse you. Anyways I'd say that while you should be mad at me, obviously, something is wrong. I passed initiation, I was chosen as Janus, so why am I broken? Why can't I connect with the Sun God the way every other soothsayer has? It's not like I haven't spoken with him before, I had when I was a Janus!" Autumngossamer explained, her tone harsh and condescending. She was trying in vain to find an answer. Skipstep was right though, everyone she loved was in SunClan, if she was going to suffer that was one thing. But it wouldn't change that she clearly lacked power. Would others that follow her lack this power to communicate? She was supposed to guide the next soothsayer promised, what would happen if she continued to fail, would they too? "Listen, I get that I clearly epicly failed you and that'll be dealt with, but I DO care about SunClan and literally this is a massive issue because if I can't communicate with the Sun God, I don't know who can, I mean I was literally chosen by him so I just don't get why this is happening."
Ericanorth
jetclaw
"Yeah get the fluff up!" Ericanorth snarled watching her paw pass through her body numerous of times as she tried to get it up, "Why? WHY!" She growled trying to push her body once more, "Frozenfire, I'm sorry, I just didn't see him coming, he came out of nowhere, I swear it. I wasn't trying to be sloppy please, just hear me," Ericanorth begged, but she couldn't hear her. Now she was as white as she was a ghost. Ericanorth sat down by Frozenfire, "I'm really, really sorry," her pink gaze stared at her strange surroundings, the same, yet her sense of touch and smell was gone, "I hope we get through this."
