SPRINGCLAN Spot & Jetclaw Thistlestar The distant sound of yowling and screeching gave the dusty leader a burst of energy as he pushed forward through the bush, his sharp green eyes narrowed to the sight ahead. His lean figure bolted through each obstacle as his muscles ached with anticipation. Fear echoed through his mind, but not for himself, but for those who had begun the fight. Behind him followed many of his own clan mates, whose claws were itching and ready for battle. His concerns only grew as he was reminded of his medicine cats, who bravely offered to run ahead to aid those who would be wounded.
With one finally burst, the Springclan leader entered the bloodied field, his eyes wide as he immediately searched out a particular cat, finding immediately in the crowd. "Fawnheart, Softpelt." He spoke up with urgency, his voice deep though out of breath from the long sprint he endured. His eyes widened at the sight of the Nightclan leader lying lifeless on the floor. He only took a moment to take in the scene before redirecting his focus back to the medicine cats. "Update me." He spoke, his voice stoic and void emotion.
Yarrowsong The young white she-cat followed behind the Springclan leader, though her entrance was delayed as she struggled to keep up with Thistlestar. Upon entering the sight of the battlefield, she couldn't stop the gasp from escaping her. She forcefully followed her leader, despite the powerful emotions that sprung deep within her at the sight of injured cats. Glowstar's command pulled her attention, stopping her in her tracks. Her dual colored eyes followed the Dayclan leader's vision to the gorge, her heart racing at the realization. The young she-cat sprinted to the aid of some of the cats who had begun to drag bushes, finding Fuzzyheart immediately and aiding her in dragging bushes.
WINTERCLAN Lionwhisper A large ginger tom bursted through the forest, his bright amber eyes scanning ahead. Upon hearing Dayclan leader's command, the giant ginger cat lept into action, dragging a large and rather heavy log towards the gorge.
Fawnheart The Springclan medicine cat breathed a sigh of relief as Flamingstar came through. It seemed as if Starclan took mercy on her. Fawnheart's ear swiveled as she heard her name called through the rain and battle cries. She turned to see her leader racing toward her and Softpelt. When Thistlestar reached her and asked for an update, she gestured for them to step away from the gathering cats around Flamingstar. Once they were out of ear shot, Fawnheart spoke to her leader about what had happened. "Flamingstar lost a life but it seems no one else is seriously injured." Regret burned under her skin as she recalled leaving the battlefield to follow a couple ghost cats instead of keeping an eye on the battle for any injured warriors. "But Softpelt and I found something. We were visited by a couple of Starclan cats and they showed us those herbs." She pointed with her tail to where Softpelt stood with Flamingstar, keeping the mysterious herbs wrapped in her tail. "Starclan didn't tell us which herb is used for what and weve never seen anything like these before."
Dovewish The gray Springclan warrior followed Thistlestar into the battlefield, her eyes widening in shock. Glowstar's order rang through the clearing and hit her ears. She allowed Thistlestar to race ahead and find the medicine cats while she followed Yellowsong to help aid in redirecting the flood.
SPRINGCLAN Thistlestar Thistlestar offered the medicine cats a small and quick nod, taking in the sight of the strange plant before leaning down to the Nightclan leader as she came too, noting the coat of crimson that stained her pelt. " You are alright now." He spoke calmly yet sternly as he bent to her level "Don't make any suddenly movements, Fawnheart and Softpelt are helping with your wounds." He stared thoughtfully, though somehow his expression remained serious and stern. "More of us have arrived, rest as much as you can now, you are in good paws."
Flamingstar The ginger Nightclan leader pinned her ears back at Thistlestar. "I'm fine!" she hissed through gritted teeth as she rubbed her sore neck. The leader tried to stand but her legs gave out and she stumbled.
Fawnheart Fawnheart rushed over to Flamingstar and caught her before she could fall.
Flamingstar Irritated, the Nightclan leader nudged the Springclan medicine cat away. "My own medicine cat can care for me, thanks!" She growled, glaring at Fawnheart.
SPRINGCLAN Thistlestar A temper that rarely burned in Thistlestar flared within, causing him to step forward in between the two she-cats, protectively guarding Fawnheart as he glared down at the injured Nightclan leader, his eyes brightened with a sudden burst of emotion. "You will not disrespect my Medicine Cat again Flamingstar." He spoke low, his deep voice teetered on the edge of threatening and calm "Place your pride aside and let them help you. If not for you, for your clan mates who fight around us to help save our clans." His fiery gaze was unwavering as he locked onto to the young leader's gaze, his tail the only physical inclination of his anger. "Nightclan needs a leader right now, not a bumbling stiff with open wounds."
His gaze fell back to Fawnheart, his anger still at large, but at the sight of her expression, he felt himself calm a bit, enough to refocus on the task ahead. "Take care of her." He instructed despite knowing full well that he didn't need to tell Fawnheart twice, looking back down at Flamingstar, his stern expression hardening "If she gives you a hard time, do not hesitate to let me know." His words were directed to Fawnheart, but his gaze remained on Flamingstar for a few more moments longer before he pulled himself away from the group running instead over towards a large ginger cat who fought to drag along a large chunk of a log, grabbing at a branch that stuck out and pushing it towards the gorge.
Fawnheart The Springclan medicine cat dipped her head to Thistlestar when he instructed her to care for the Nightclan leader. She admired his mercy on Flamingstar and gave him a look of gratitude for defending her even though it had not offended her. When Thistlestar padded away, Fawnheart turned to the injured leader and began dressing the wound.
Flamingstar The leader held Thistlestar's gaze with intensity as he reprimanded her, flicking her tail in irritation. Although she had some choice words to say, she chose to remain quiet and allowed the medicine cat near her. She winced in pain as Fawnheart cleaned it and applied ointment. "Thanks" she mumbled, refusing to look at Fawnheart.
Fawnheart The medicine cat nodded as she finished up. "You may be alive but those wounds won't heal for some time. You will need to be careful. I suggest you sit the rest of the battle out."
Flamingstar "Excuse me?" She growled, flexing her claws. "I am perfectly capable of continuing this fight!"
Fawnheart Fawnheart gave a bored expression to Flamingstar as if she really didn't believe her. She had seen firstpaw the severity of the leader's wounds. "I mean it, Flamingstar." Her voice was serious unlike her usual soft and soothing voice. "If you try to fight, your going to lose more lives and maybe not even make it back the next time. Rubyflame knew exactly what she was doing when she bit down on your throat. She meant to keep you out of the fight. Your lucky she didn't stick around to keep killing you. Now, allow me to help you somewhere dryer. This mud is not good for open wounds." Fawnheart helped Flamingstar to her paws hearing a couple of hisses of protest from Flamingstar and guided her over to a low hanging tree where the ground was damp but not soaking and muddy. "Now lay here and rest. You'll be safe. The clans are working on getting the water to turn course." The cream somali bounded away in search of more injured warriors.
Flamingstar Flamingstar obeyed Fawnheart for the time being, a look of resentment in her eyes. She watched the battle go on, wondering if she should call it off. It seemed like the shadow era cats were losing anyway. More and more cats were showing up with Glowstar to help build a path for the water.
Water rushed forward at them as the giant tree finally came down. Glowstar winced at the impact of the tree and felt the water spray up in her face as it hit the tree moving it towards the cats. Glowstar quickly got out of its way but the true only moved a few feet before remaining firmly in place as the water moved around it heading towards EarthClan.
"WE DID IT!" Glowstar cheered, bouncing up and down.
"Wooh! Yeah we did it," Innocentia cheered bouncing up into Glowstar's view behind her as she too sprang up and down.
"AH! Cannibal!" Glowstar cried out as her fur fluffed out, "Ehck. Ruining moments, I'd say you should wear a bell, but you already do."
Kotori's watched startled as the water roared past. His eyes narrowed, before Bleakwind could even look him in the eyes again he jumped up kicking into Bleakwind before using that momentum to kick off of him and run beside the flood water. He took the log Lionwhisper had pushed over and noticed how weak it was immediately. Just as he thought, a cat couldn't roll over a healthy log in muddy water, it had to be at least a little bit dead. He looked at Flamingstar nestled beside the medicine cats and then back at the log. God, did he love her. With all his might he slung himself forward using the side of his shoulder and with his head as tucked in as he could be he broke through the log and into the hollow center and without flinching broke it open one more time. He expected to be washed away by the flood, but instead the water gushed forward and forced him out of the log. Now there was a hole, flood water was breaking through the dam NovaClan had created. If they didn't act fast the dead log would break completely letting the flood move in two directions.
Kotori quickly crawled away trying to get back over to Flamingstar.
Autumngossamer's eyes widened, "We have to move now, that will definitely hit us, we need to get out of here Littlestar!"
Mistyrose stepped forward looking Autumngossamer up and down before turning to Littlestar, "Littlestar, you shouldn't have to put up with this. Autumngossamer's been lying. For one, it's leafbare and I know you really believe your land is spiritual, but it's not sacred enough where you're going to see an anthill in leafbare so I really doubt the Sun God gave her a sign. She also withheld information in the medicine cat gathering, Mountainsound and I were there, and-" Mistyrose looked at Autumngossamer who looked back at her with a soft glare, it looked so defeated. Like deep inside she knew this wasn't going to work, because she was used to losing. She looked like a diamond standing there, but Mistyrose knew if she could touch her she would shatter, she wasn't as tough skinned as she acted. Mistyrose turned back to Littlestar, "And I don't think she was telling the truth about MoonClan either, I think she made it all up."
Bleakwind Bleakwind snarled. “You mousebrain!” He spat grabbing Kotori by the scruff and with all his strength shoved him to the water. If he wanted to try to drown the clans he could go first- But then Kotori’s words registered. Flamingstar needed him. But the dam. He shoved Kotori back into the water flow hard before he rushed back to Flamingstar. “Flamingstar, Flamingstar what happened, I saw you fallen... Kotori betrayed us his voice, he’s the one who shouted and he’s torn a hole, are you all right?”
Softpelt Softpelt looked between the herbs and the hole. Then she pushed them towards Fawnheart. “We need to stop it.” Then she darted towards the hole. “We have a leak! Help me patch it!” She yowled, trying to start patching it from the end, hissing at the spray that immediately soaked her lovely fluffy white coat.
WinterClan, Primal Instinct, DayClan
Crimsonrose, Elyon, Mysterypaw At the sound of Softpelt’s yowl Crimsonrose darted over digging up a stone. After a moments hesitation her daughters Mysterypaw and Elyon came to assist digging it out and rolling it towards the hole. It seemed in this moment their grudges set aside to protect their own.
Illuminatedpath Hearing Autumngossamer and Mistyrose after he’d been pushed down by an attacking cat he struggled to his paws and stride over to Mistyrose, Littlestar and Autumngossamer. “Autumngossamer has been a manipulator and bully since we were apprentices, of course she’s lying. Though to what end, I don’t know.” He narrowed his eyes to glare at Autumngossamer. “Don’t know what she gains from lying here.”
NightClan/Runner strawberrycupid (just before the flood water roared by them)
Squirrelleap could hear pawsteps beside him glancing over at Designerdarling, too busy catching his breath he merely nodded to her and focused on catching his breath. Then he heard it. The roar of the water. His heart jumped to his throat realizing the flood water was coming, and they were in its path.
"The flood!" Without hesitating he turned his head, grabbed Designerdarling by her scruff and shoved her towards a tree. "Climb!" He hissed shoving her up it before he scrambled up it himself praying the thick tree they were scaling would withstand any floodwater.
Electricwolf "You expect pity when you were ready to drown everyone here?!" The large yellow tom snarled hooking his claws into her flank and hauling her back. "If she dies it's on no one's paws but your own." He said jerking his head towards Xuxa, and Kotori. "for choosing you'd like to see everyone suffer. If she dies, it's-" His voice cut off with a gurgle. The massive yellow tom having straightening up to sanctimoniously continue berating her. Only for a massive slice to appear across his throat, crimson blooming from the wound. He coughed releasing Gardenia and staggering away from her.
Undertow (Shadow Era) Undertow came up alongside Gardenia and nudged her to her paws. "Go get your sister clear, we should leave, this is a bust." He said jerking his head towards where Kotori was and where cats were working to quickly plug the gap he'd made. "If we get away now, we can avoid trouble while they're all busy."
Jetclaw Jetclaw snarled. "then you have no place here, much less as a janus." She spat before rushing forwards, hooking her claws into his shoulders and shoving him down into the mud teeth biting down on his ear biting hard before releasing when she got the taste of blood. She didn't care to tear his ear off but she wanted to make him hurt.
Feinignorance Feinignorance staggered from the blow to his flank whipping around teeth snapping for Oakpaw's scruff aiming to try and grab him, leaving his neck wide open for Tinypaw.
Summersolstice Summersolstice had begun moving to assist with the renewed efforts to stop Kotori's latest effort to cause destruction. After she'd sent Ericanorth running she thought her finished and was no longer paying her any mind, too focused on trying to find materials to patch the hole.
SPRINGCLAN Thistlestar The crashing of the tree caused the Springclan leader to leap back a tail length, but he remained firm in place as the water roared forward and away from them towards the remnants of Earthclan, avoid the directions of the clans entirely. Relief melted the leader's stiff posture and he glanced back up in the direction of the Dayclan leader who cheered on loudly. A small smile graced the Springclan leader's stern expression as he took in the other cats around who celebrated in their victory, not noticing a particular tom racing towards the old log he and Lionwhisper pulled in the way of the floods. It was the crackling of the log that finally grabbed his attention back, causing Thistlestar to whip his head back towards the cat made dam. The dusty leader looked around frantically in search of materials to plug the hole, but the log gave a loud creaking sound, stopping the Springclan leader in his tracks. Without further hesitation, Thistlestar bounded forward to the log which slowly looked as thought it was giving in "Help me!" He snarled at the large ginger tom as he sprinted back. With all the strentgh and spped he could muster, the leader lept over the raging water that shot from the log. The leader slipped on his landing thanks to the fresh mud, sliding on his back, but he bounced back up, taking a dangerous position at the far end of the log. Fighting against the slippery floor, he found a rather large rock, using that to keep him steady in the mud as he braced himself against the fallen log, aid it with additional support until the other cats could find a way to plug it up.
It was easily a dangerous position to be in. He could feel the log wanting to give in thank to the additional pressure added from the hole. If the other cats couldn't plug the hole fast enough, the log would give out and with it, Thistlestar could very much get caught up in the flood.
WINTERCLAN Lionwhisper Lionwhisper's ear perked at the initial cracking of the log, finding the culprit immediately. He was about to spring forward when another tom beat him to the perpetrator, dealing with him accordingly. Lionwhisper looked back and the log, his eyes wide as water rushed through the hole. Before he could think of a solution, the Springclan leader bounded forward, urging him to follow. He did, watching as the leader bounded over the water. Confusion passed in the ginger tom's expression as he sought to figure out the plan only to see Thistlestar use his own weight and strength to help the log stay in place. The pieces clicked in the Knight's head and he leapt toward the other end of the log, pressed his full weight and strength against the log. He glanced back, watching as cats frantically scouted the scene for materials to plug up the hole in the log.
Shadow Era Flamingstar Flamingstar gasped when she saw Bleakwind throw Kotori into the flowing water. "No!" She shouted. When Bleakwind approached her she glared at him with her intense eyes. "Why would you hurt him? He's my friend!"
Springclan Fawnheart Fawnheart raced toward the open hole hard on Softpelt's heels. She came to a sliding stop on the mud when Thistlestar jumped in front of the log in an attempt to keep it from bursting. "Thistlestar! Get away from there!" She called to him, rolling a decent sized rock over to the hole.
Dovewish Dovewish rushed toward Thistlestart to help. Before she reached her friend, Mellori leaped in front of her.
Shadow Era Mellori "Going somewhere kitty?" She taunted before leaping at Dovewish. She gripped the gray Springclan warrior by the scruff and threw her to the mud.
Bleakwind Bleakwind blinked. Then he gritted his teeth. "Well your 'friend' led this whole rebellion! I recognized his voice, he was the one who shouted for the traitors to attack! And at some point it cost you one of your lives! He's no friend of anyone here! And now he's broken a hole in our dam! We're all in danger!" He said then shook his head, she must just be reeling from it all. Not fully processed what he'd said. He shoved aside his anger, learning that her friend had betrayed her, betrayed them all like this must be a blow that she didn't want to accept or process right now. When he spoke to her again his voice was gentler. "You focus on recovering, but if you're well enough we need to stop this flood, that water could endanger all of us if we're not careful."
"NightClan we need to patch the leak!" Bleakwind called out as he rushed for the leaking dam. As he went that way he spotted the Medicine cat apprentice "Cana! Please attend to Flamingstar!" Honeystorm
Cardinalsong "Away from you!" Cardinalsong growled as he came in and cuffed Mellori on the head before ducking down and headbutting her off his sister. "Go help Thistlestar Dovewish! I've got this!"
Lightstep Lightstep had been hard on the paws of her son when she'd spotted the leak. She bent down to help Dovewish up, hesitating a moment debating staying in assisting Cardinalsong before she nudged Dovewish towards the leak, "Your brother will distract that enemy, come on." She urged before rushing to help, assisting Fawnheart with the rock, gathering mud and anything nearby to try and glue them together.
WinterClan
Crimsonrose "We've got it!" Crimsonrose with the help of her children got the rock free. "Help me roll this into place!" She called to the others trying to patch the leak. Mysterypaw left panting nearby while Elyon hared off to find some cats to punish.
Flamingstar The ginger Nightclan leader wanted to tell Bleakwind that she was the one who was behind all of this but if she were to give that away, she could lose her whole clan. She decided to remain quiet. She watched Bleakwind whirl away toward the dam to patch the hole Kotori had made. Where was Kotori? Her heart began to race. The last time she saw him, Bleakwind threw him into the rushing water. Was he okay? She had to find him. She tried to climb to her paws but she was still too weak and found herself back on the ground. She hoped he was okay.
Mellori Mellori let out a surprised yowl as Cardinalsong ran up and landed a blow to the side of her head. She stumbled back from the force of the blow and from Cardinalsong headbutting her in the side. She had received a couple head injuries already that night. What was up with everyone hitting her head? She rubbed it with a paw and looked up to see Dovewish fleeing with Lightstep. She bared her teeth and turned her attention to Cardinalsong who was facing her, now. Mellori launched at Cardinalsong but psyched him out and swerved to the side and raked a claw down Cardinalsong's flank.
Dovewish Dovewish gave her brother a grateful nod before allowing Lightstep to help her up and nudge her toward the dam. Dovewish rushed to the leak and began putting pawfuls of mud into the hole.
SPRINGCLAN Thistlestar Thistlestar grunted he felt his shoulder slip across the wood thanks to his fall in the mud. After he regained himself, he glanced back up to see Dovewish running towards him. 'Stay!' His gaze screamed, but the sudden intrusion of Mellori caused the leader's heart to jump out of his chest. Fear gripped Thistlestar as he watched helplessly, but Cardinalsong was quick, knocking the Shadow Era cat in time to safe Dovewish. Relief flooded the Springclan leader as he watched the scene ahead.
Yarrowsong At the call for help, Yarrowsong leapt in, her gorgeous white pelt now stained with dirty and mud from pilling wildlife to the dam. Yarrowsong pushed the rock along side the other warriors, grunting softly as she used all the strength she could muster to help Crimsonrose and Fawnheart.
Bleakwind and Crimsonrose Bleakwind saw Crimsonrose, Fawnheart and Yarrowsong struggling with the decently sized rock. If they pushed that close to the hole the flow would be slowed. Or it could break the tree against it. But if they slowed the flow, they could reinforce that tree so that way when it gave way, a barrier would be made behind it. "Reinforce the other parts of the dead tree!" He called to the other cats as he joined their efforts to get the rock by the hole.
Lightstep Lightstep's ears pricked hearing Bleakwind's call. "Dovewish, help me find other things to use to reinforce the dead log." She urged her daughter immediately looking around and spotting some decently sized branches. She gestured to them. "Let's grab some of those.
Cardinalsong Cardinalsong had tensed for her head on strike only for her to dodge to the side and slash at his flank opening up a wound. Hissing Cardinalsong retaliated, aiming for her head. She'd seemed stunned by his blows, so he sheathed his claws not bothering to claw her, but instead pummeling her on the head.

Era of Shadows
Moonlitnocturne Jetclaw Kick me out. Kick Me Out. KICK ME OUT. It was all Moonlit wanted. So that's why he kept fighting. Despite the failed dodge and claws on his shoulders or the teeth in his ear. He was pulling away even when her teeth were in his ear, clawing at her shoulders and face. When she let go, he ripped himself away from her. Looking up at the rushing water and all the cats gathered together, there was no way the clans were going flood now. Most of the other EoS cats had fled, fear of punishment. But this is what he wanted. This was a win for him either way. "Fine. Then question a Sun God who would appoint someone who would do this without blinking an eye." He'd be surrounded in no time. His ear didn't hurt anymore. "What'll you do about it?"
Designerdarling The somali wouldn't have heard it if it hadn't been for Squirrelleap suddenly yanking at her. "Hey, what was that fo-" She yelled, but the sound of rushing water behind her made the fur on her back stand up. Scrambling, she followed the other cat up the tall tree. "Fine, Starclan. Help us out here would you."
Lorelei ManinaConsuela (if you want thistle to die this way. otherwise, she's available to send someone down the river if someone else wants) "Ooh water. Splash! Splash!" Completely absent to the impending chaos, Lorelei skipped next to the rushing water that ran towards Earthclan's gorge. It licked and splashed at her, and she laughed and batted at it. "Ooh, what's that?" She asked no one in particular as she noticed something shiny across the water. "Whatever it is, I want it." The calico didn't even hesitate to jump onto a slick stone in the river.
Dayclan, Nightclan, and Renegade Regime
Goldenphantom, Praline and Brilliance The three had somehow come together, all pushing a good sized rock to reinforce another part of the tree.
Dovewish Dovewish heard Bleakwind's call and then her mother's right after. She followed Lightstep's gesture to the branches and nodded. "Good idea!" She darted over to the branches and gripped as many as she could in her jaws, carrying it over to Thistlestar careful to keep space after the look he had given her earlier.
Fawnheart Fawnheart was relieved for the extra help moving the rock.
Mellori "Ouch!" Mellori hissed, backing away from Cardinalsong's jabbing paw. She was surprised that he didn't use his claws. He could have done more damage with unsheathed claws. She lashed her jet black tail and flexed her glinting claws. "Awe, are you too much of a kittypet to use those claws properly?" She taunted with a smirk.
Jetclaw Jetclaw narrowed her eyes. "I won't question his ways, but as for what I'm going to do?" She barred her teeth and leapt on him once again. "I'm going to exact some punishment myself!" She hissed, digging her claws into his back once she was on and biting down on his shoulder.
Squirrelleap "Get up to this point," Squirrelleap said settling in between the v of two thick branches, gripping the bark of the tree tightly. He flicked his tail towards a similar 'v' just above him. "At this point if the tree goes down we can try to jump for one of the others." He said. Though he really doubted he could at that moment. Just climbing up to this point had taken a lot of his remaining energy. They really did have to hope StarClan shone down on them and the tree withstood the water.
Lightstep Lightstep grabbed several branches as well carrying them over quickly to the spot her daughter had chosen. She set down her branches. "Grab more Dovewish, I'll start adding them." She set a few branches between some of the rocks cats were adding to reinforce the weak point. She stacked the branches quickly, gathering mud and whatever else was nearby to get them to stick together. Her gray and white fur mostly brown from all the mud.
Cardinalsong He tilted his head and smirked. "Take too long," He said then he darted forwards paw raised seeming to aim high for another head strike. But immediately he dropped low, and rushed forwards colliding with her legs intent on knocking her off her paws and into the slippery mud.
