Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. Once the young apprentice had gone, the lean mostly-white figure came to take his place. Youth had been restored to him after death, and his dilute fur glimmered with distant stars that blended seamlessly into his coat; he looked natural and comfortable around the others, perhaps a bit faded, though many leaders had come and gone since he had led the clan. "Take heart. You're doing great, and it'll be over soon," he promised, nosing the tom's chin a little higher. He stepped back to observe his work with a touch of pride, Thistlemask looked like a true leader and he was excited to have him take his place.
"I led this clan many moons ago, and I have rarely been so honored to give a life as to you," he announced. "I, Splashstar, give you a life of patience. Always give your clan the time they need to grow, and be patient waiting for guidance and advice. Everything will come together in time, and you must hold your temper until then." He leaned forward to touch noses with the younger tom, an affection purr rumbling in his throat.
