Somehow, by chance or divine fate, Foxstar was in the perfect place at the perfect time. The stars aligned, the Sun God shined down on her, and she was conveniently in DayClan's camp the moment Glowstar entered after breaking up with Deal...
Well, no, it wasn't really fate at all. To say she was stalking her friend was a gross understatement, though her spy was both quiet and unsuspicious, so no one would suspect them even if they knew there was absolutely no possible way she'd have been here without help.
The fox-hearted feline lounged on the DayClan throne, multicolored sunflowers from their Burial Grounds decorating the place. There was even one all but identical to the flower Glowstar had picked for her initiation. It was a sad looking thing, but nostalgic nonetheless, and Foxstar had even painted little flames down the sad stem of the thing. It almost matched her own paint today. Deep reds and gold and oranges, a crimson bleeding heart written across the center of her chest. It was all very pretty, in a very disturbing Foxstar sort of way, the cultist lounging across it only too nonchalantly for her insanity to allow.
Who knew what the catch was, but as she crossed one white paint swirled ebony leg over another a smile wrote itself across her features. Glowstar walked in, and for the moment, it was simply two friends in the room as the fox-heart let out a soft purr. "I was wondering when you'd get back."

Of course, no party would truly be complete without the king. The wind whispered tales to him, a little bird sat on his shoulder and sang a new song. One of heartbreak for the Dayclan leader. It was a melodic little tune, one that piqued his curiosity. Compared to Foxstar, he had little trouble getting into the Dayclan camp. The two leaders were birds of a feather really, and they flocked together nicely in each of their parts in the city and beyond. The Nemesis still had a little help, from one who vacated the camp as soon as he was secure.
Really, he came over to wax a little business but got caught up in this tune halfway here. Normally, he hid up in the wisteria tree and would hop down to surprise her. One of those little 'sudden events' she seemed to like. Though when the familiar smell of the Sunclan leader hit him, he completely froze. Why was she here, of all places? ... but knowing Foxstar, they were here for the same reason. And that made a lump grow in his throat.
Hidden among the wisteria flowers, Funk could only watch the eclectic leader set everything up. There was a style to it that only Foxstar could capture, and he found it growing on him. Macabre yet stunning. Kinda like her, really. It all fits together. He could only back up so much, now that he was in this situation he couldn't quite leave it. It only got worse when Glowstar entered her own den.
A part of him wanted to hold his breath. The other wanted to jump down there with a little style. Should he leave? But that would be no fun. And this was all horribly entertaining, if not mildly frightening. So he stayed, one leg crossing over the other as he held his delicate balance.
As she looked out into the apple orchard one last time she could still see the past ghosting in front of her. A version of herself who wanted peace and a fraction of Deal glowing brighter than StarClan slowly emerging back into who he was. They didn't know they were headed in different directions then, but they would always have their roots tangled, like two trees that grew together side by side through the bad weather and warm seasons. Now for once there was an emptiness where eagerness had been. For so long she wanted to be with Deal, bring Deal home, save Deal, now he was on his own adventure. For once it was back to just being DayClan leader again and for a moment, she believed that was who she was.
Glowstar's vision doubled and from one angle she could see her friends softened features that looked so hypocritical for an arch angel like she was. Craving to mold the world into something more perfect than it was and ever would be with claws that could both devour a person's soul and purify it into something obedient and compliant. There was the other angle, the one she knew was the real her, the cultist leader, but the cultist leader looked so much like the girl she loved and often times she found herself staring at Foxstar like a demon had possessed her friend. Instead she found her gaze looking right through her, as though she were nothing, but an attention seeking kit. She strode up to Foxstar, "You're in my spot," She said before walking over her friend and squeezing into the back of the chair where she face planted her head into the moss with an audibly loud groan. Glowstar lifted her head back up to look back at Foxstar with a tired expression, her head easily turning into a bed fur kind of look, "This is an off day for me so I'm going to ask you once for a non cryptic and straight forward answer, what is all of this and why are you here?"
She considered for a moment lying about her reasons, making something up on the fly about coincidence or hostile takeover. It was in her nature to do so, and despite Glowstar asking for her to be straightforward Foxstar highly doubted if she expected the truth. The fox-heart was so tied up in half-truths and manipulation that anything she said, no matter how close to reality could no longer be trusted. In her state, it wasn't even hard to see into her mind through those ivy eyes. No matter how much clarity she seemed to have at this moment, it was still as clear as day that she had not regained what she'd lost from her time in the tunnels. Danger and challenge danced behind the calculating gaze, and she lifted one paw so that she could rest her head in it and look at the leader beside her. Absently, she picked up one of the sunflowers, an orange and yellow streaked thing turning burgundy towards the center with a gold tipped black core, gently positioning it on the top of her head, right in the crook where it met her ear. It was quite pretty, and the fiery colors matched the DayClan feline's personality. Bright and chaotic, dangerous, but beautiful.
"I heard about your breakup." Truly, she didn't think it necessary to explain exactly how she knew, Glowstar might be concerned about spies, but it wasn't altogether surprising. DayClan was an extraordinarily welcoming place, and Foxstar had proven that with her invasions time and time again. For all her friend knew, she could have been watching the entire thing herself without being noticed, it wouldn't be out of place. Her smile softened in something akin to understanding. After all, Green wasn't the first cat to have their heart broken by the black and white tom. "I thought I could take your mind off it. And maybe selfishly have you to myself for a while. We haven't spent any time together as of late. Whether that means we're fighting with each other, you're screaming at me for meddling in your life and the life of your clan, or we're actually getting along for a few heartbeats, I've missed you, you know."
The Priestess didn't have the capabilities to lie right now. In some ways, her insanity had made her a much more transparent version of herself, though it highlighted all her flaws, all her anger and hidden hurt. She so often felt she could never trust another soul that she preferred to ruin the possibility altogether than really give it a chance. Especially with Glowstar. More than any other cat, this she-cat knew everything about her, perhaps more than she would ever admit to herself. "As much as I want you dead most days, I really don't know what I'd do without you. I think it would be very boring."
You're always on my mind, you murdered my clan mates...
"And maybe selfishly have you to myself for a while."
Glowstar gave her a suspicious look.
"We haven't spent any time together as of late."
Cause you've MURDERED people.
"Whether that means we're fighting..."
"No."
"You're screaming at me..."
"No!"
"Or we're actually getting along... I've missed you, you know."
Glowstar's heart was twisting into knots. She stepped out from her throne walking back around to face her, "You were my best friend and you were the most perfect person I’d ever met. But you tore yourself apart until there was nothing left of you for me to recognize. I look at you and I see the ghost of my friend every time. I mourn a living person. I wish I could have stood in the rain with you, I wish I was there before you decided to live in the worst moment of your life everyday. I wish a lot of things that just can never happen because you dashed it all away. And you’re just lying here with no clue what an honor it is to have her sweet voice and her angelic ivy green gaze. You never treasured yourself the way I valued her. You never saw what I saw in you. So-”
Glowstar paused staring into Foxstar’s eyes, “I miss you too,” She said, her anger deflating, a paw moved over Foxstar’s, “But I miss who you were and you stole that from me and it was my heart that broke, not yours. So I’m sorry, but I can’t do this anymore, I need to start neme-seeing other people.”

(that sounds like a cue to me)
The record played over and over in his mind. Any attempts to get close to anyone always resulted in the needle settling in the groove. For all his wheeling and dealing and flirting, he was as fake and sugary as candy. And like that, he would enjoy the taste of his partners but would soon either swallow them whole or spit them out. One of the other, it always happened, It was the same old tale, and he never expected that record to flip itself anytime soon. Most after either stuck to him like a bad reputation or were left behind. He was fine with that, truly, lost in himself enough to lose the meaning of the words 'empathy' and 'love'. If there was no pain in it, there was no love; that was what he taught, what he believed. What he thought of the two didn't really matter, but he was starting to drift off listening to them.
Funk was truly in no place to criticize or embellish the relationship between the two other leader's below him. It was tragic, a separation that might have been preventable but there was no way for him to tell. It was somewhat similar to his own relationships, though he was certainly the Foxstar in this situation. One who self-immolated or drowned or threw himself off cliffs until there was nothing recognizable. They were surprisingly similar, he could only hope he wouldn't drag Glowstar under. Even between the two who were certainly nemeses, it was closer than any relationship he had. He couldn't call any blossoming feeling envy, it was really just static. Static that built up from the tip of his toes, that crawled up his legs until it took over his body. It made him wobble slightly, every part of him falling asleep all at once. It was like his heart had stopped beating, and he lacked the strength to stop himself from falling further.
He landed on his feet, as all cats do, in the middle of the leader's den accompanied by a flurry of wisteria flowers. The shock woke him up from his thoughts, just in time to realize how badly he had screwed himself with this. He could only really turn to look at the two he was eavesdropping on and sheepishly smile, like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar. "Uhh, surprise."
Were. That word seemed to stick out in her mind the more Foxstar continued to speak. Were and was, and what might have been. The claws on one paw curled in, and she didn't even notice the blood dripping down, then streaming, staining the beautiful flowers around her in glimmering scarlet. "You mourn a broken past, Green. But just because something is shattered does not mean that the fragments cannot be made into something brand new, as beautiful as what came before, simply different." Behind her eyes, glass seemed to crack, spiderweb splinters spreading across the smooth surface of a small shard, and then pieces fell in crimson and gold, catching the light as they fell into a glittering pile of her soul's pieces. One more bit of her chipped away with each word, and then at last, it was all gone. Each and every bit of the bleeding heart had fallen to the ground, and it sparkled and shone, sharp and jagged.
And then it glowed, and slowly the pieces started to melt, malleable and shapeless, but what form her soul would take was unknown. "Maybe I'm a fragment of what once was. You see what had been, but you miss that it isn't so very different from the here and now after all. What is an angel with a hollow core? A sweet voice without passion? What you saw was a fraction of reality. Even then, there was no such thing as contentment, only flashes of happiness someone never able to be satiated. I got so close to what seemed to mend me, and then it was ripped all away. Who knows what the result would have been if things were different."
Her smile was tattered and desolate, there was no heart in it at all. "I've always been broken. And as with all things, it must get worse before it gets better, right? I'm sure that we haven't hit the bottom of these depths yet. I can only hope that when it all ends, when there's that light at the end of the tunnel, and the shards have formed into something new, whole and unique in it's own right, that you will be there by my side to see it."
But the moment could not last. And indeed, not a fraction of a heartbeat later, before Glowstar had a chance to react, came the crashing of a certain cat both of them couldn't help but recognize. The High Priestess' paw unfurled and blood flowed freely again, the metallic tang swirling through the air as Funk spoke, intruding on this moment of theirs. 'Surprise?' Hardly. To be honest, though she knew him little, it was blatantly obvious he wasn't just in DayClan's camp by coincidence, even if she couldn't say for certain whether his intentions had been to eavesdrop.
Annoyance spread thin against Glowstar's emerald eyes like at any moment frost would be seeping from her very gaze. How could she say that? That she's always been broken, like it's a horrible disease. It was like she was excusing herself from having any ability to control herself, it had to run its course. This was Foxstar's own fault. She told her not to mess with her kits, but she did. She almost seemed happy with herself and for a moment she wondered just how many times she had fallen for Foxstar's "poor little me" act when she realized that had only happened once and it had been genuine. Maybe Foxstar really did need a friend, how many times did she actually ask for something out of her instead of taking an manipulating?
Her anger and confusion quickly evaporated upon Funk E'tan dropping in. She let out a soft breath at Funk's sudden appearance as she made her way across the petals towards him. A streak of color rose to her cheeks at his comment about this being a surprise, "What are you doing here?" She asked, sugary sweet laughter escaped past her jaws as she picked the petals off from Funk's head. There was always such a blossoming way she talked around Funk. Like every moment she spent talking to him was another moment of her opening a part of herself up that she never had before. Like she could tell him everything because he was everything.
It wasn't necessarily an excuse, to call herself always broken. Merely a self reflection. Her actions had been her own, she was simply reminiscing on the fact she never truly was happy. To be quite honest, if someone told her happiness was a myth, she'd almost believe it. Almost. If not for that little bit of light in her life that was Glowstar, and even that seemed to be fading away. Her own fault, to be sure, and yet Foxstar couldn't help the bubbling anger that surfaced within the confines of her now empty heart. To watch her turn in an instant and open herself so quickly to this Nemesis who'd quite literally dropped in on them. It tickled the negative thoughts, a sense of possession of the pretty leader she had no right to. And yet, the thoughts forced them through logical ideas and genuine understanding, darkness seeping into the emptiness, deeper and darker than even the blank void of her heart.
Foxstar found herself wrapped halfway around Funk not a moment later, without ever even seeming to realize what she was doing, her tail drifting dangerously up his spine as a flirty smirk made it's way onto her features. Her face flickered for a moment, however, almost confused as to her own actions, as if she didn't even realize what she was doing and she forced herself to take a small step aside, crushing the very same petals Glowstar was just picking off. "Apparently, he just couldn't wait to see us." She commented hollowly, dead gaze watching the League cat, only the tom beside her with that same frozen smile.
Glowstar looked from Foxstar to Funk E'tan, us, huh, "Oh, you two know each other? I guess I should have suspected as much, you were always an explorer, Funk," She grinned at him with a playful nudge, but then tilted her head considerably at Foxstar, she supposed it wouldn't be too weird either if Foxstar had run into Funk E'tan. Well not run into so much as stalked him for weeks and cleverly planned a way to look like she happened to run into him sort of thing.

To say Funk had meant to eavesdrop was an overstatement. He would have simply called it happenstance. Whether either would believe him, he didn't quite know and didn't overly care. Concern had hit him along with the ground, worried how exactly either would react to him crashing in on this delicate moment. Bizarrely, it seemed his fall was for the better. Celadon eyes softened as Glowstar approached him and picked the petals off of him. There was nothing about her that he didn't love, wasn't completely addicted to. She was the only one he fell into a groove too so easily, who made the world truly melt away. There was so much he still didn't know, and he wanted to find out so badly. He didn't know if anyone else would intrigue him like she did, if he could feel as much bubbling static in his veins when he saw her. He couldn't place what it was, but it was an addicting feeling he hadn't had in a long long time.
When he opened his mouth to say something, words that would have been as soft as the long fur of both leaders turned to dirt as they caught in mouth. The orange tail along his spine made every nerve in his body freeze. The two floundered at the presence of the other. The Nemesis cast a side-eye at Foxstar, briefly wondering what she was planning. Neither of them really deserved her, and they both knew that, surely. There was no way the young tom would know the entire history between the two, but a seed of envy was growing in him. Cause he wanted to be by Glowstar's side too. And he wouldn't let Foxstar kick him out so easily.
"Well, I did originally come to Dayclan to see the Dayclan leader, but this is a pleasant surprise." Funk's words were still gentle, far more than they were around anyone else as he slowly pushed Foxstar's tail off of him with his own, "And I do know most of the leaders. Last thing I need to do is make more of a fool of myself at gatherings than I already have." It was strictly business after all, but he had to watch his words.
"We met at the League's party not long ago. Funk did look quite handsome." Foxstar's works came out a purr, almost taunting, but at the same time, she seemed more focused on Glowstar than Funk, and her words hinted that he was less on her mind than the she-cat before her. It was an odd mix that really made no sense at all, but that's what it was.
A tight feeling froze in her chest, she could feel her heart twisting slowly as her mind ventured to cruel places. How close was Foxstar with him? She didn't care, maybe they got together, whatever. It would just be nice sometimes to meet a tom and whisper the name Foxstar and only get the reply who? She could feel the jealousy eating away at her, it wasn't common knowledge anymore, but in her younger years as an assassin she was known as the poor girl who's love was snatched up by Ryssa E'tani. Then she was known as the reaper who built her love on the throne of bodies and lust for revenge she craved with her mate Rake. Things were so much simpler when everything was for blood and the next kill. Now she was leader of DayClan, outliving everyone she everyone she used to know in the league. More important things to do than chase after a boy or worry who Foxstar had been with.
Her emerald eyes found Funk E'tan's and the cold melted away. How could one person have eyes so beautiful you could just stare into them for hours? And then she remembered, she did know. How long did she look into Foxstar's eyes everyday, searching for the person she used to know? She could paint a picture with memory alone of her stare. The way her eyes held a sternness that would release if you were blessed enough to see her sweet gaze. The way it descended into soft gentle hues. It was like an ocean calming, no waves, just still water, only for you and your eyes only. Foxstar had a way of making her feel special with just a single glance and instead she found herself looking at her friend, searching for all the details that weren't her. Or at least not the her she knew. Maybe in an ordinary circumstance it would be unfair to expect a friend to stay the same. But Foxstar had murdered her, murdered her best friend, murdered her mate, murdered some members of her clan. Ultimately was a big fat murderer who made the decision to axe off anyone and everyone for what she deemed was for her own good.
"I find it pleasant to see you too," Glowstar said, choosing her words carefully, "Funk, how about I show you around some more while I walk Foxstar back home."
Even saying that hurt her inside, was she really going to give up on a friend? She promised herself she would start thinking about her clan and not endanger them by her friendship with Foxstar. But... Really how often did she come and seek her out?
"Although maybe I'll change my mind about it if you tell me a bit more on why you came here," Glowstar said with the best fake stern ton she could manage, but turned around with a quick shy smile before composing herself again.

The Nemesis' heart jumped into his throat, ice flowing through his veins at Foxstar's words. Sure, ignore what happened the night they met, but still. They weren't that close, really. Not to the extent that he was with Glowstar. But there was no way to say 'we only hung for one night and if I didn't, I'd probably die. least that's the impression I thought' so for now, he was stuck. Funk always managed to get out situations like this before. With a little lie or some sweet talk. But, he couldn't today. His mouth felt like it was full of sand, a heavy weight in the back of his eyes. Glancing to Foxstar and then back at Glowstar, he knew he was another pawn in this game, a secondary character in the play. Funk hated it, hated how he couldn't even lie to either of their faces without feeling something. A painful foreign feeling that truly made him feel like just a puppet on a string. It was like he truly was an open book, one read so easily by Foxstar and used to her advantage. He wanted to cry out, fight against it, burn the strings and write himself in the script. To break free.
But he couldn't, not with this sand in his mouth. And this undeniable fear in his heart. He couldn't admit he was afraid of Foxstar, yet completely fascinated by her. It was familiar but far more intense than the last time he felt this way.
When the question turned to him again, he brought his attention back to Glowstar. And his heart softened yet again. Ugh, this was frustrating. Those bright green eyes could just glance at him and he'd melt. Funk would wonder what happened to the old him later. For now, he took a small step, "Sorry Glow. I heard about what happened between you and Deal. I just wanted to check on you." That's all it was, really. You gotta believe me.

It was a strange thought to consider that feeling in her heart, that one that made her want to curl around Funk possessively despite having barely known the tom. And yet, at the same time, want to slit his throat for the look Glowstar was giving him. Those feelings raged deep within her, swirling through the molten remains of her soul, twisting it with dark tendrils of jealousy.
She had no intentions of going anywhere, however, despite the words of the she-cat before her, and Foxstar simply smiled gently, though there was something lacking in it that had been there moments before Funk dropped in. Green's suggestion they go their separate ways had fundamentally changed her in a moment's notice, in a way Foxstar couldn't hide. "I told you, I heard about the breakup. I've missed you, and I thought this would be a good time to catch up and take your mind off things. I was also really looking forward to spending some time with you... alone. I, uh, haven't been myself since..." Foxstar paused, trailing off as a look of confusion spread over her features, just for a heartbeat. Then she blinked and it disappeared without a trace. "What was I saying? ..Oh, yeah, I've been busy since I got back from the Regime. I had a whole day planned for just the two of us. But since he's intent on crashing in, I suppose Funk could come along."
The fox-furred feline rubbed a paw over her ear, tail tip twitching lightly against Funk's ear. "I'm sure you'd both love that, wouldn't you?" She commented, though her words just barely toed the line between accusatory and trying to convince both of them to agree. As though that strange transition and this odd dichotomy of her personality were not even considerations in her mind.
She couldn't help, but half look back towards the apple orchard wondering if she had dreamt entire days away. Deal and her had just broke up! How did they already know? Maybe she didn't want to know that... They did both have spies. Once upon a time Glowstar had the largest fortress of spies history had ever known and now few would ever guess it. Funk's words rang true in her ears, even if he had been spying she'd be lying if she said she wasn't resisting a smile. Ever since visiting him on league territory she wondered if he felt the same way and now she knew, he did. However his presence couldn't soothe the jagged cut in her heart. Glowstar's eyes stared tiredly in Foxstar's direction, right missing her and stuff was the reason. She moved along the tall fields, the land like an ocean, it seemed to pour liquid gold wheat in any direction you turned. Suddenly she waved her tail in front of Foxstar to signal for her to stop walking.
Glowstar took a breath and looked at Foxstar with a for once worn down look. Her green gaze dimly reflecting Foxstar's figure in her vision, "No I really don't want to because... I'm really mad at you Foxstar," For once she relinquished her usual laid back aura, her ears moving back for just a moment, "I gave you one rule, don't mess with my kits. And then you just had to take Fang's kits. And why did you have to lie about those kits being mine and Darkcomplex's? I just-" Glowstar's teary gaze burned into Foxstar's, but no matter how mad she tried to look it never hit, "I'm really tired of you Foxstar. You hurt my feelings and you never said sorry."
Glowstar placed a paw over Foxstar's and living up to her name her eyes glowed almost upon touch her, "I'm here for you, but don't be here for me if you're going to hurt me again."
Reaching for her blue feather of hope she gingerly took it off of the gem earring piece and began fastening it behind Foxstar's ear, her touch light and warm, "I know it's annoying that when I look at you, I don't see the you in front of me," She said as she finished fastening the feather and took a slight step back to admire it, "but it's only because I see the version of you I know you can be. So wear my hope for a day."
Glowstar tilted her head slightly at Funk in a signal for him to come to her side, "All this way for me huh, angel eyes? You must be my good luck charm given the timing," She said pretending not to imagine that he wasn't spying to know this information, but a small naughty smile slid past the corners of her lips displaying a glittery tooth smile before nudging him playfully. She hadn't meant to make things tense. Well actually she had just planned on falling onto her bed and sleeping the rest of the day away. Maybe cry for a little while, go on some lethal adrenaline junky adventure, the usual when going through a breakup. Two friends appearing to cheer you up? Psh, not natural. Sleep, tears, and reckless self endangerment was how to handle it usually, but love and support definitely worked too.

She had no adequate response to Glowstar's words. Part of her did want to be upset, but as she searched within, there was only this emptiness where the heart was meant to be, a void in place of morality. Foxstar couldn't feel sorry, no matter how much her mind grasped for such emotions. Perhaps it had been written out of her mind long ago, or maybe taken at some point in recent history, but it was no matter, and the Priestess gave up searching for something she clearly didn't have. She couldn't even promise she wouldn't hurt the DayClan leader again, though she did consider it.
When the feather was fastened to her ear, Foxstar found her paw reaching up to stroke it without much thought, the soft feeling of it whispering against her pad in a strangely comforting way. She didn't move from her place, despite Green's admittance of not really wanting to spend time with her, simply watching, lost for a moment to the hope now fastened to her. For a moment, it seemed to prickle something within her, a feeling she couldn't place, but one that formed an unnaturally soft smile on her lips against her own will.

Funk's gaze could only find his paws as the two once friends talked, one strand of gold especially interesting to him. He glanced up at Foxstar, wondering if any of Glowstar's words would ring something in her. He wasn't sure, there was no way for the upstart to. He wondered how he'd react in her shoes. The ghostly silhouettes of the past haunted him, with words that could only beg him to stop. He couldn't, there was no way. No way for him to feel anything else, nothing else that satisfied him the way pain did. There was no rush like it, no sympathy in his hearts for them. There was no way to stop, no way to scrub the red from his hands.
No way to admit he was just as bad as Foxstar. Only difference was he never messed with Glow's family. Surely, he would get the same treatment if he did. A part of him almost hoped Foxstar would prove him wrong, just to spite him if nothing else.
He poked his head up when Glow tilted her head at him, keeping an eye on her from his peripheral. Moving slow, he finally settled next to her. As much as he wanted to feel lifted and alive like usual when he was with Glowstar, he couldn't deny the tension in the air. It made him scared to return the playful touch, even though he wanted to so badly. To be fair, he was spying on everyone, not just her. Returning the smile at least, he was glad he was lucky for at least one of them.
The silence was crippling her already damaged heart. She had wanted to go home and lie down, maybe cry for an hour, feel sorry for herself for the rest of the day just to get it all out of her system. And then move ahead with her life, happy that Deal and her would continue as friends. Now this was just an awkward silent walk with two leaders of clans that literally enslaved and attacked her clan in previous moons, but hey, who was counting? She actually wasn't, it meant little to her. Vera E'tani taking over was predictable and Foxstar keeping DayClan wasn't surprising either, who wouldn't want to keep DayClan? But this, she hadn't expected, it was probably why she was still walking with them. Life was boring, predictable at every turn, but this time she had no clue what was going to happen or even why Foxstar was acting weird. She walked backwards to face the two of them with an amused smile on her face, "So uh, what were we planning? Do I get locked in a cage again and have to roll over onto the spiky bars to get the latch to eventually open? I love escape rooms."
