Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Seablossom awaited for the last of her patrol to gather. She'd chosen them at the ceremonies earlier that day, a great honor for most cats and one they may only see happen once in their lifetime. No one knew what to expect on the journey, especially if she'd even receive lives considering Solsticestar was just nowhere to be found and not dead or retired. This moment forward was a mystery and blind territory for EarthClan; one she wasn't sure she could handle alone or at all. Seaform fur was a ruffled mess, Seablossom was a mess. The mere thought of leaving camp while her siblings stayed behind was nauseating, unnerving. But it had to be done. EarthClan needed someone with the title of leader.
Celestialglow padded up, dipping her head respectfully to Seablossom. This was her first trip escorting a deputy to visit Starclan for their nine lives and excitement bubbled at her toes. However, she held her composure and walked with purpose. "I'm ready to travel with you" she mewed, her voice quiet. She knew Seablossom would make a good leader but it was hard to let go of the past.
Crownglass was seated at his mate's side, his fur brushing hers as he rumbled reassuringly. He was immensely proud of her for becoming a leader, she had earned this, and he couldn't be happier for her. She was nervous but he was certain she would do a great job as leader.
Coalsplash felt quite honored that Seablossom had chosen him to accompany her to receive her lives. He was happy for her, and believed that she would make an excellent leader. The fluffy white tom stopped before her and dipped his head, his frost-colored eyes showing anticipation for their journey. "Ready when you are, Seablossom," he smiled, hoping that it looked reassuring; he knew she was nervous. He could feel it rolling off of her.
Deep breath, "okay, let's go." Now or never. Seablossom rose from her place beside her mate; she was grateful he was coming with her, that he stood beside her. The question was: did the rest of the clan? Where did she stand with them? She hoped they were on her side and would support her decisions, as they had been for Solsticestar. How may were still loyal to their missing leader? Would they follow her? These were questions she wondered on their journey, hoping that she'd find answers soon.
Celestialglow followed Seablossom. She knew their to-be leader was nervous but she was never one to make someone feel better. She didn't exactly know how. She was a fierce warrior of Earthclan and never saw herself as the nurturing type. Although she didn't quite know what to say, she walked close to Seablossom, her posture firm, showing her dedication and loyalty in hopes that she would reassure Seablossom that she stood with her and had her support.
Coalsplash purred as he waved his feathered tail in the air behind him. He was excited to be on there way - he had never accompanied a leader to their naming ceremony before. He half hoped that StarClan would speak to him too - rather, a certain cat in StarClan. The tom pushed thoughts of his old friend from his mind and followed after his leader and his fellow denmates.
(Okay if you have a StarClan and would like to role play them, feel free to! I’m going to jump to them arriving. @oveanix Whitemuzzle @hinata Honeystorm @samiam GidgetGaldualwielding )
Arriving at the entrance, the young leader took a deep breath. This was it, the make it or break it moment. What would she do if they didn’t give her her lives? Return to EarthClan empty pawed? Could she do that? Seablososm glance back at the those behind her, then stepped forward into the cave.
Coalsplash nodded respectively to Seablossom just before she went into the cave. He turned his back and sat down, wrapping his feathery, white tail over his paws, his ears pricked, frosty blue eyes alert for any sounds. Despite it being the middle of summer, a chilling breeze seemed to roll by. Coalsplash looked up at Silverpelt, wondering if his friend was up there; he wondered who would speak to Seablossom, and if they would approve of her leadership.

Rockstar watched the living cats as they were arriving. He knew this was going to be a different sort of nine lives ceremony seeing that the clan had strayed from it's original heritage. But hope sprang up in his chest. He felt that Seablossom was different. Changes for the good was coming for EarthClan.
Sealife anxiously waited for her daughter's arrival. She had gathered along with the other Starclan members. The former Brookclan she-cat paced back and forth in her spot. Her tail twitching nervously as the moments passed them by. It was the first time she would come face to face with her daughter. And to gift her daughter a life for becoming leader. She felt proud of who her children had become.
She hesitated, glancing back to the three, before heading further. Each step filled her with more anxiety, more questions of her worth. A mere step away from the water, eyes wide in fear, she turned back. Seablossom ran. Her breathing was wild as she broke through the entrance, nearly running into one of her escorts. She could do it! Couldn't do this! How was she! Her, the broken, stressed and anxiety-ridden cat suppose to lead a whole clan! Even Solsticestar had left it!
Coalsplash squeaked in surprise as Seablossom nearly bolted into him, his white fur standing on end, pale eyes as wide as the moon above them. "Seablossom?" He asked, his ears going back. Her fear-scent was overwhelming, the anxiety in her eyes as clear as Silverpelt shining brightly where he had just been looking. He didn't have to ask - there was no badger down in the cave, no killer fox or dog. He met her gaze, sympathy welling inside of him. "Seablossom, you're not Solsticestar," he said. For once, Coalsplash was serious. He wasn't trying to make her smile, make her laugh, like he always did. He was telling her what she needed to hear. He was telling her the truth. "Look at those kits you've raised into apprentices. Look at Ivorycrown," it may not have been the best example, but Coalsplash was rather fond of the grumpy she-cat despite their conflict in personality. "If you can raise them to be good warriors, you can lead this clan. I traveled here with you because I believe that you're going to make EarthClan something great, like it used to be," his ears dipped forward, his tail wrapped around his paws. "We're all behind you," he motioned to the others that had traveled with them. "And so are they," he looked up at Silverpelt. "Look how bright they are shining for your arrival."
Celestialglow's eyes widened as Seablossom charged back out of the cave, the to-be leader's eyes wild. Suddenly, sympathy pricked her heart, which was unusally for her. "Seablossom? What's wrong? Are you Okay?" The golden tabby's eyes were round with worry and surprise, her fur bristling along her shoulders.
Crownglass's ears pinned back in alarm as she turned and came back to them. He tilted his head slightly as he listened to Coalsplash and offered the leader a small, encouraging smile.
"I..." Could she really? Coalsplash spoke so fondly, so easily like what she'd done was simple. Was this how others saw her? Her eyes looked towards her mates, did he think the same? He hadn't been there when she was riasing Ivorycrown. Hadn't seen the sorrow just after her father's death or the worry when Walnutchime had disappeared. But he had bene there for raising Amberkit and the others, for her rising into this position. Seablossom looked towards Celestialglow. What about her? The two had hardly talked but she coudl remmeber a conversation so long ago with her and Soslticestar. It'd been simple batter and gosisp but she'd also been apart of this clan for a while, had heard teh rumors about her and her family.
Could she really do this? Her eyes glanced to the sky, then the others one last time. "Could..could you join me?" Seablososm was scared. She'd never truely been alone and she didn't want to be now in such an important moment.
Celestialglow didn't know if they were actually allowed to be present during a naming ceremony but she nodded hesitantly. She knew what she needed to say to Seablossom, "I am behind you, Seablossom. Through and through" she gave an awkward smile considering she never really smiled unless she was with her mate, Cutthoat. Had what she said made Seablossom feel any better? Surely the to-be leader knew Celestialglow was on her side. She nodded encouragingly to Seablossom. "Now get in there and earn those lives. Be the leader I know you can be."
"I'm a pawstep behind you," Coalsplash promised, his usual grin returning, white fangs shining under the light of the moon. His white fur glowed an unnatural, eerie hue in the silver light. "All the way," he added. He was sure StarClan would look fondly upon Seablossom's clanmates, by her side and supporting the decision that she was making for the clan.
