Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
A bit ago, we discussed a rule update for the site. Finally, the rules have gone through an update through the administration team and are in their most final form that we have so far. Now, it is up to you all to determine if we should keep the new rules or change them in any way.
Because this is a full site discussion, there will be no magic number of users that have to approve the rules for them to go into effect. This discussion will close on June 30, 2019. This is two weeks from today, the same day that the Admin Survey will close. Once this discussion is closed, I will look at any suggestions that have been made and rectify them.
To comment on the rules, you may either use this thread and post on Classic, or you may comment on the actual document using Google Drive's comment feature. It does not particularly matter one way or the other; however, if you comment on the document I might resolve in real time.
If you do not have any suggestions for the rules, please use this thread to say that you have read through the new rules and approve of them.
Are we doing a burning about the unusual names? I know it was discussion in the previous thread regarding this subject but all I saw regarding names was that one couldn’t use Star has a prefix or suffix with leaders and the exception and that names from the books weren’t allowed.
There is no longer a restriction on weird names because it wasn’t followed anyways, and there was no real reason to keep it other than to keep to the books, and, well, most of this site doesn’t follow the books (:
are you keeping the policy vs rule distinction for deciding when strikes are given?
this is a small thing, but for the span question - how do you know if mass page edits are unnecessary or not since there’s no more history feature? since coding pages can take a lot of small changes to get right this rule just seems a little hard to enforce
also for the plagiarism rule i think you should need full permission to use a layout or art, not just credit the creator (maybe an exception for photos?)
“No creature can become immune or invincible unless the creature is being used for a leader-sanctioned plot to attacks, nor can a kit be able to take on a full grown warrior” is “to attacks” in the wrong place here or am i just lost
