Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
He shifted his weight slightly. What an odd thing to say. "Hmm. You can take the lead," he murmured after a moment. It had been his idea, but the idea of leading a superior felt too strange for Brenna to be able to stomach.
The tom scanned the area as he walked, taking mental note of any and all damages to the territory. As they approached the brook, he held up his tail. "Does the bank seem looser to you? Like it could swept out from under you?"
He looked at the ground quizzically, his tail flicking back and forth. "I don't know if it would be swept out from under, but I do think that it seems a little less packed than normal. Something I would be worried about land-sliding in and a cat slipping if they weren't careful enough," he replied, tilting his head. The side of the brook that they wer eon was steeper than the other, and he could see an accident happening if a cat didn't understand the risk of the soft earth.
He nodded, taking a few steps back. "How long should they be kept away? Is there something we could do to make the land a little more sturdy, or is it something that will only happen through time?"
"How long would we wait to see if it dries on its own?" Apparently, Brenna was in a questioning mood, but there was a method to his madness. He wanted to know the circumstance from a cat who knew a thing of two about dirt, and the former RR feline seemed like he would. "Did this ever happen in the Regime?"
"Because of how packed the tunnels are, its rare for it to come loose. If it does, it hardens after a moon. However, since this is exposed to the sun, it should be dry in about half a moon at the latest."
"A half moon," he repeated, although he wasn't sure that this was a feasable amount o time. "Is there anything we can do to make it go faster, or do we have to just wait patiently?"
He narrowed his eyes, unsure if he believed that there wasn't anything to be done. Sammy didn't seem helpful almost at all. "That's a shame," he meowed after a moment.
His tail flicked. "That's true, I guess," he meowed with a blink of his eyes. "Is there anything else in other parts of the territory we should check out?"
"That would be a good idea. We wouldn't want to allow another group to itch towards our border in our moment of weakness," the tom meowed. "EarthClan, Renegade Regime or WaterClan first?"
"That's true," he supposed. "How probable would that be?" he asked as he turned in the direction of the Renegade Regime border, as if just because the tom came from RR meant that he was an expert on it.
