Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

Mesmerizingsins stared at Dyinglight, obvious concern in his eyes. He had help with his own mate's kitting, though if he was being honest he mostly got in the way. So something did not seem quite right with the Jarl. Yet he said nothing, his face in its usually frown. "Owlstrike." His golden eyes just barely looked at the other cat, it wasn't that he didn't like the tom, it was that he didn't know the tom. It had only been a moon or so since he had come back. Other than reconnecting with Dyinglight, he hadn't made much of an effort to know his clanmates again. Which was not great, but Mesmerizingsins fueled most of his energies into wrangling his five kits who were now apprentices along with trying to help his friend sort out her life.

Dyinglight sighed as the odd contraction like pain finally died away. She turned and looked back at Mesmerizingsins. "Mez...I...I think I may have just had some sort of false contraction.." she felt suddenly shakey but she gulped down her nerves and decided to push on with their walk.
The dark tom felt a surge of injustice rise in him as he watched Dyinglight leave with another tom, and dug his claws into the ground. He knew she had a right to speak with other cats, but... well... it just wasn't fair that someone else would take advantage of problems in their relationship like that. A low growl rumbled in his throat as the prison guard determinedly set off from camp to follow them. He'd find Dyinglight, and they'd find a way to work through this. He wasn't going to let anyone get in their way.

(Im time skipping to move this along a bit there are two kittens to claim I believe but they will be moving to SunClan soon so anyone who claims them don't forget)
As they had walked the sun had fallen and the moon risen in it's place. It cast an eerie glow on the snow covered ground as they walked. And then it hit her. Another contraction only this one was unbearably painful and caused her to cry out in agony as her knees buckled and she fell into the snow.
Already there was blood. And already her mind was fuzzy from the pain she was in. All she could think of was the kits. Looking up at Mesmerizingskies with eyes glazed over in pain and confusion she struggled to speak. "Get......Misty...veil.........Get Mistyveil!" She gritted her teeth as another agonizing contradiction washed over her. Too soon it was too soon. Would they live?

Mesmerizingsins looked around in a panic, he didn't want to leave her alone and at the same time, she needed more help than what he could offer. With a knot developing in his stomach he took off towards camp, slowly only briefly as he passed Shadowglade. "She's kitting, blood, lots of blood, too much." He managed to stammer out before taking off again. Sliding into camp he quickly glanced around for Mistyveil and could only spot her daughter. That would work he thought as he took a deep breath to relay the issue. "Dyinglight is kitting in the woods, there is way too much blood, and she needs your help." It was more coherent than the first time he had tried to speak.
Plumeriapaw looked up at the panicked warrior with disinterest at first usually, they only needed a bit of marigold and cobwebs. Though as he spoke she perked up, this was something new and was life-threatening. With a nod she picked her way through the herbs in the den, coming back out with borage, chervil, and raspberry leaves. A few other odds and ends were chucked in as well as she wasn't one hundred percent sure. Her dual colored paws followed after Mesmerizingsins after telling the closest cat to send her mother if someone saw her. A million thoughts raced through her head, she was just barely apprentice age and yet she could control life and death. It was way too much pressure for her.
"She's what?" Shadowglade hissed, his dark fur spiking in alarm. He broke into a sprint back the way the tom had came, skidding to a halt when he spotted the fallen deputy and dropping at her side. His eyes were dark with anxiety as he fussed over her, licking between her ears and nosing her cheek. "It's going to be okay, you'll be fine," he promised, his heart trembling in his chest. Why were they coming so early? "Help is coming. Let me-- let me get you something, what do you need?"

She giggled, somewhat delirious with the loss of blood. "Probably more blood but I'm not sure how you would manage that." She gritted her teeth in another wave of pain and looked up at him with eyes that were round and scared and a little more coherent. "I'm scared. What if they all die?" Of course she wasn't worried about her own death, just the lives of her kits. They were precious and she was not. "I don't know how I woukd go on if they all die Shadowglade.." her words turned into a whimper of pain as it sharpened.
"If I could give you my blood, I would," he murmured, "but I don't think cutting myself to bleed into your wounds would help." He hesitated. As angry as he was still about this situation, there was no way he could wish for her kits to her harmed because of it. He loved her too much for that, and they were innocent creatures. They weren't a part of this. "I'm sorry I haven't been at your side like I should be, Dylinglight, but I will from now on. Every moment I'll be here for you. These kits will not die, or the ancients will feel my wrath and I will tear them all down myself," he rumbled threateningly, shooting a glare toward the sky. "We will save them. You can do this, Dyinglight, I know you can."
