Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"It felt like my body was being pulled deeper under the waves..." A tear entered her eye. It was lcear that this memory was painful for the cat, even though it was still so fresh in her mind. No living cat wanted to ponder how they would die, and it appeared no dead cat wanted to think about how they did.
The she-cat shrugged. "I don't know..." It was obviously hard for her to talk about. Her distress levels were continuing to raise with each word, as a tear formed in her eye. "I don't know."
"That's easy for you to say. What the hell is the point of breathing?" This was the first time perhaps ever that the she-cat snarled, and her ghost claws unsheathed. Who was he to tell her this?
"Who are you to tell me I haven't accepted my death?" she snarled. The anxious energy that she had moments before had completely changed to anger. Who did he think he was?
Caroline let out a sad sigh. "Thank you," she meowed, dipping her head. Then, there was a moment of silence. "Do you think that the brook really is haunted? Is that what happened to me? Was I just its next victim?" The questions were rapid-fire as her gaze traveled to the water that had taken her life.
The idea of one of the gods coming to her felt wrong. Deep within her soul, it felt like if they were not there ot bring he to the afterlife yet, why would they have encouraged her to die? "Just time?" she asked, sadness once again sweeping in her voice. "I don't understand how it could be jsut time, at least not yet."
