Found all my characters and readding them. <3
BELLE-KEPA ROLEPLAYED BY HONEYSTORm Sometimes the past comes back to haunt you. And sometimes, the past is in the form of a cute little tabby kitten whose name is Belle and may or may not be related to Narcissus. As it is, the little kitten, identical to Jezebelle save for one midnight blue, almost black, eye, is absurdly annoying. She's mischievous and troublesome, and a just a bit too chatty for anyone to reasonably want to deal with. Unfortunately for Jezi, the little she-cat has taken to her. Of course, that is probably the understatement of the century. Belle for what it's worth, is obsessed with her namesake, and ever since being ditched by Narcissus in joining Absum Lux, she's never seemed to want to leave the poor General alone, always trying to mimic her, and hoping to one day follow in her pawsteps. Hopefully Jezi's sanity remains intact. Good luck, you'll need it. Tyro
SUBJECT ZERO ( ZERO ) ROLEPLAYED BY HONEYSTORM Gray lines cascade over a skeletal frame, fur pale with a sickly gray tint to it, as though he were dead on his paws, reanimated for some ghastly purpose, or by someone's mistake. In some ways this is true, as before he arrived in Toxicity, he often walked the line between life and death, swaying to and fro in a dark game, never able to have the sweet release of death, nor able to give his life any meaning or learn new things. Until he met /her/. She was young, perhaps only a few moons younger than him, but easily surpassing him in size and strength. She, Sayaka as he later found out, gave him a choice. She could end his miserable existence, free him of his suffering once and for all, or she could make him stronger than he'd ever been, free him of the sickness that clung to his pelt and give him the life he never had, at a price, of course. He'd have to serve her until the end of his days, loyal to her and her alone, unable to argue should she command something of him. The choice had seemed obvious. He chose life, and she took him to Toxicity, to their healer, giving him a new name and a new existence. Subject Zero, or Zero as it was sometimes shortened to.He got better during that time, joined Toxicity, and learned his savior's name, and of her nature, though only what could be said by word of mouth. Sayaka didn't visit him much until he was better, but the moment he'd been cleared to enter the Gladiator's den, she was there, taking him out into the territory and teaching him. He never grew large or obviously muscular, retaining his small, deathly looking frame. But she knew the strength beneath his paws despite such an underwhelming appearance, his eyes bright blue, electric and sparking where they'd once been dull and lifeless. But it wasn't allgood, though he became strong and knowledgeable, and he quickly learned that disobedience or failure weren't an option in her presence. But he'd made a promise, she'd saved his life, so he endured her punishments, her experiments, her orders, anything she thought of him to be tasked with. And he always will, until the end of time, for she gave him everything, and she could just as easily take it all away again. Luminary
AKAMU ROLEPLAYED BY HONEYSTORM Akamu is a large MaineCoon tom with deep copper eyes. He has a white undercoat shaded with a vibrant rust color along his spine that fades as it travels down his body, to his paws which are a pale, creamy shade not unlike the stain blood would leave on a pristine white pelt after the substance has initially been washed away. Taller than even his mother, Sayaka, who never payed him much mind, he certainly has a personality to match. Energetic and boisterous, it's not just his size and coloring that stand out among the colors of the creeping growth and decrepit buildings. He is spirited, and has a tendency to be a bit louder than he should, whether it be his thunderous paws on cracked ground, or split the night with a loud laugh. He can almost always bring a smile to his face for the light-less group and is genuinely kind, though fierce in battle and extremely loyal. Sometimes, despite this, however, he can be misconstrued as vain or of acting superior to others, due largely to the fact he has to physically look down to meet others' eyes, standing well above many of them, and partly due to his heritage as the son of Sayaka, who is known to treat others as inferior and place little value on others' lives. But truthfully, he tends to shy away from his mother and older siblings, for precisely the reasons people judge him. He is a staunch believer that if he is to get anywhere in life, like perhaps Heda one day, that itwon't be riding on his history as being related to the Toxicity Strategos, Orzora, but by his own merits, and that he is not superior to others merely because of such relation. That's not to say he's not proud of his relation to the kit sized leader, merely that he won't let the late she-cat's reign define him. Ultimately, he is a cat who wants nothing more than the best for the group he was born, and will do all in his power to serve them faithfully. Combatant
EMPYREAN ROLEPLAYED BY HONEYSTORM A stunning Russian blue she-cat with a gorgeous constant darkened Russian blue shine. She has gorgeous grey swirled markings across her pelt that look like the nights snow swirled in delicate and divine patterns by a cold evening wind. She has a beautiful light grey crescent moon shape on her chest with grey eclipsed spots underneath her eyes, three under each of her baby blue eyes. Daughter of Seraph, a former Slayer, and niece to Orzora, former Chief of Toxicity. Combatant
IRE ROLEPLAYED BY HONEYSTORM They failed. Formerly a kittypet with her littermate Rancor, they were utterly humiliated in the trial, each managing to fail only moments after it had begun, truly inept at fighting, though Ire lasted a few heartbeats longer than her brother. Residing now as a Charged, she stubbornly refuses to take a mate and have kittens, focusing all the time she's not forced to care for the Nurslings on bettering herself, holding out the hope that one day, one day, she'll be strong enough to earn her place among the proper ranks of Absum Lux. She didn't leave her housefolk just to be a second-class citizen, and her anger fuels her drive to one day stand where the first leader of Absum Lux, Octavia stood, leading the cats without light. Ire, her kittypet name long-since cast aside, is a pretty calico with thick, shaggy fur of golden and black patches on a canvas of white, with sharp golden eyes. Combatant
KANYA ROLEPLAYED BY HONEYSTORM At first, she appears fairly normal, with pretty, thick gray fur, faded like frost at the tips, though she is larger than is typical of most cats. Her eyes are a bright color, with paler flecks, giving her eyes a frosted glaze much like her pelt. It all seems alright, at least until she opens her mouth. Kanya has no tongue. For a while, she did, and the members of Absum Lux can attest to that fact. However, one day, she just stopped talking, still but a Suckling. It wasn't until a while later cats realized she couldn't actually talk. Instead, she just smiled, attempting to convey her words through gestures and body language, hiding the fact she was any different other than seemingly having no desire to speak anymore. No one really knows how it happened, but when you consider her family, it might make a bit more sense. Her father is Caulan, son of Sayaka, who left Absum Lux for Primal Instinct. He had kits, and of course Sayaka found him. Her grandmother one day stole her, and she's been with Absum Lux ever since. All she is is a bargaining chip to the patched silver tabby, a way to keep her waywards son on a tight leash, and Kanya's powerless to stop it. Despite the inability to speak, Kanya is quite a polite feline, humble, trying to please her relatives. However, she can't stand to be underestimated, easily able to get to the point of being violent from her anger. All in all, she's quite a skilled feline, and would make a nice friend, if given the chance, though one should be wary of making an enemy of her. Claws can hurt as much as words. Combatant
RENAUD ROLEPLAYED BY HONEYSTORM Small. Miniature. Tiny. All accurate, yet all couldn't be further from the truth. True, Renaud has a small stature, smaller even, than the youngest rookie. Kitten sized, he stopped growing around three moons or so, and hardly appears threatening at first glance. Huge amber eyes and fluffy gray and white fur, he had a... youthfullness to him, that really allows him to get away with things at times, since cats not apart of Toxicity don't know that he isn't actually a kitten. Of course, for as small as he is, he has a rather large presence, seeming to fill the empty space around him and draw all eyes to his diminutive frame, seeming unperturbed by the lack of size, even though his siblings are far, far, larger than him in regards to size, being MaineCoon in breed, the genes seemed to pass over him. His mother informed him that Orzora, his great grandmother, was exactly the same, a kitten sized she-cat, and yet she became Strategos, so he never really had anything to fear, except his mother's wrath, perhaps. He has a god complex, not only expecting cats, but forcing them by any means necessary, to listen to him. He's the born leader to this world, his line deities meant to be obeyed without question, his mother most of all. This tom doesn't get in trouble with his mother, listening to her words and taking them as the truth, whether or not they really are, is another matter. Manipulative, he's not psychopathic, just arrogant and enjoys being the center of attention. Combatant
RONAT ROLEPLAYED BY HONEYSTORM A seal point Siamese she-cat with icy blue eyes. Daughter of Sayaka, and great-granddaughter to Orzora, a former Chief of Toxicity. Cold, aloof, and overall very distant from others, as she feels like everyone will just leave her... eventually. Combatant
SAYAKA ROLEPLAYED BY HONEYSTORM Manipulative. Educated. Apathetic. Charming. Ambitious. //Psychopath//. It was obvious even from the start she was off. She never really... connected with anyone, even her family. Sayaka quickly made friends, she was charming, ambitious, and pretty, but she never stayed with them for long, quickly switching to the next enticing encounter. She was quick to belittle others, humiliate and use them for her own purposes. Her loyalties seemed to lie with whomever had caught her eye, but it never lasted and she left behind broken promises and confused faces. Sayaka was always sure of herself, never afraid or worried for things to come, and no challenge was to big or too hard to conquer. While some would empathize with another injured being, she knew what they were feeling and used it as a way to further herself. Those around her are her pawns, to be used and thrown away to further her goals, and any mistakes they make are intolerable, they must be /perfect/. As she grew, she became seemingly more empathetic, charming, and helpful, but only to make herself look better. Much of what this she-cat says is a lie, twisting words and situations for attention. If you asked around, you might here about her loyalty to Toxicity and it's Strategos, but her loyalties only lie with whoever it's convenient. She overwhelmingly resents authority, as she's the only authority they ought to answer to in her mind, she's superior to them and she is always right, no matter what. Unlike other cats, she's totally apathetic, having no interest or concern of others and their morals or laws. Narcissistic and arrogant, she values herself highly, everyone else is worthless and weak. A full blown Psychopath, with a mind directed at obtaining power, the rush of control, dehumanizing those around her, making worthless promises, with no remorse or shame for anything she does. Her mind works differently than those around her. Sayaka is an actress if you will, feigning emotion and consideration, with little need for sleep and a lowered, if existent perception of pain, and thriving off of violence and pressure, rage is the only emotion she has the ability to feel, though it's often short-lived and she goes back to her eerily calm and charming demeanor, pleasant to be around. She's extremely relaxed and laid back due to being unable to feel emotion, drawing in those around her. She's defiant, competitive, persuasive, and demanding, following her own rules, no matter what she's told otherwise, no hesitation to manipulate or kill those who stand in her way. This Psychopathic MaineCoon she-cat has a long and beautiful patched silver tabby pelt comprised of silver, ginger, and black, her underbelly, legs, chest and up to her muzzle are all white, with a slight patch of ginger scattered around her nose and magnificent, golden amber eyes. Beyond the facade there's so much more to see of her, dark, cruel things. She's hard to miss, hard to avoid, and impossible to trust. Combatant
SUBJECT ONE ROLEPLAYED BY HONEYSTORM Darkness. That's his whole world. Once upon a kitten-hood however, this wasn't the case. It was practically a lifetime ago. Born to an unknown mother with a father who seemed glad to ruin Sayaka's life, One always knew he was inadequate. How could he not? He was told from day one that he owed his life to another for keeping him alive, despite the fact she forced him to consume strange substances that made him sick in almost every way. Vomiting? Often bloody. Breathing? Half the time he couldn't. Not until she gave him what she called the 'Antidote' to whatever particular poison he'd ingested. The constant barrage of being told he was beneath everyone, only to be useful as Sayaka saw fit. It was enough to drive was mad, and indeed, he walks the edge between snapping entirely, stepping closer, and closer as time wears on. He often gets violent, not with his 'family' because he's long since learned that the punishment simply isn't worth it, but with everyone around him. He lashes out ferociously, a glint of madness in his eyes. Though that is the only things that shine in them. You see, after ingesting herb upon herb that brought him to the brink of death, Subject One began to notice his vision go fuzzy and dim, a result. By the time he became a rookie, it had progressed to such an extent that he could barely distinguish shapes, only really being able to tell day from night, and even that ability was taken by the time he became a 'Gladiator' though he consistently will comment on the farce that he is truly a part of Toxicity. For isn't he merely a pawn to be played by Sayaka? Beneath the rest, to be discarded when no longer useful? You better watch out for the dull blue eyes and brown tabby fur, because either you can never truly know when he'll finally snap, killing everything in his path, especially the cats around him who he's not able to touch for fear of 'punishment'. RANCOR ROLEPLAYED BY HONEYSTORM They failed. Formerly a kittypet with his littermate Ire, they were utterly humiliated in the trial, each managing to fail only moments after it had begun, truly inept at fighting, though Ire lasted a few heartbeats longer than he, something that leaves a bitter taste on his tongue. Whereas Ire became angry, his energy fueled into hatred. She desires to one day earn her place, but he now dreams of one day destroying the newly formed group. He's snappy and disobedient, but unfortunately, not nearly strong enough to prevent them from forcing his paw to whatever they'd like him to do, particularly being a training dummy for his constant trouble and inability to fight. One day, he plans to crush the group beneath his paws, but for that, he has to actually be able to fight, which is a long, long, way in the future for him. Rancor is covered in scars, both new and old, his pelt pale grey and short, with darker points around his face and tail, and green eyes. Charged
ZITHRI ROLEPLAYED BY HONEYSTORM Toned body, pelt of the richest golden bronze with Bengal rosettes dotting his lithe, tall body. Gilded eyes of sage peer out at the world from his regal frame emotions flickering brightly, blatantly across them, the tom, despite his appearance, seemingly incapable of hiding any sort of feeling or secret within those depths. No one knows exactly where he comes from, or how old he really is, and it's hard to pinpoint exactly when he became noticed, but it seems to be common knowledge that his parents died when he was a tyro, not a few moons prior to his Trial, and the tom failed as a result of said grief, freezing up at the dangers he faced and nearly getting himself killed in the process. Now living as a Charged, the tom is forced to deal with the shame of his failure, inwardly striving to one day overcome such shame and rise to the rank of Combatant. Seeing him grow, become stronger, smarter, more than his past and more than other's opinions of him, it's easy to guess that when he attempts it all again, he will pass with flying colors. But even so, there are doubts. That fearfulness that burns in his eyes at the mention of war, his loose tongue that is incapable of keeping a secret, and that too caring attitude and insecurity that will only get him killed. Can he really make it? Or will he crumble once again, giving up and simply accepting his own inadequacy, despite the fact that it's clear, to all but him, that if he were able to push past it all, he has a very real shot of attaining his goal? We'll just have to wait and see. Charged
