Wisteria and leather flower vines were strung above DayClan's camp creating a blanket of lilac and misty purple shades. Along the south end of DayClan's border was trampled wheat field trail leading up to DayClan's camp mapped out by a few pebbles. While DayClan was always known for being welcoming today was an even bigger occasion for allowing outsiders. Glowstar's birthday was tonight and considering just how many cats she'd crossed and clans she had been to it was no surprise that many of the cats were outsiders. Nor was it any surprise that she was welcoming just about anyone even those who she most definitely did not know.
Off in the center of camp was a fresh kill pile primarily made up of fish and snake, Glowstar's favorite kind of prey and basically no one else's.
Glowstar lied across her wisteria throne staring up at the wisteria tree above her. All of the dens were inside the valley walls all except for her. Usually at night it was just her and any night owls around, but now when the fire flies were awake and the moons light petered past the florescent vines did the dark seem so beautiful. Her paws skimmed across the mossy stone she lied across, maybe no one would come...
Rubyflame had to put her kits to bed, and ask Fang to watch them... well sleep by them to ensure they were all safe for the night. She didn't want any of her kits sneaking off while she was attending Glowstar's celebrations. But once she was certain all five of her kits were asleep, she slipped out of the nursery and headed over to the throne after fetching an item she'd found on a quick sneaky trip to Twolegplace. "Happy Birthday Glowstar!" Rubyflame purred as she came up to her leader, presenting her with the fish catnip toy she'd stolen from twolegplace. "I uh, used to love these when i lived in twolegplace, and i managed to snag this from twolegplace. And I thought you might like it." The ginger and white she cat said with a purr.

Burningstar had planned ahead for this party. Upon hearing about it, she'd immediately told Larkwing that he and Soaringbird were in charge for the night as she had 'Pride' matters to attend to. Her sister had grumbled, but she knew what it was actually for. Larkwing, bless his heart, would likely have pointed out that shirking her duties for a party was wrong. But it was Glowstar, and when it came to Glowstar, Burningstar was ready to bend the rules a little.
So once she was certain her sister and her deputy had everything under control, she set off for DayClan.

Foxstar, truthfully, had considered not going. Given recent events, Glowstar likely wasn't too happy with her, and yet, she'd still been invited, along with one of her grandkits, and Darkcomplex of course. But, not having been one to shy away from conflict, if her actions were anything to go by, she'd chosen to attend anyway, though knowing Glowstar's... ah, preferences, she, and her two companions, each carried a piece of prey with them. She had a squirrel, her own favorite prey.
Spellmania, for her part, carried three mice, bouncing along at her grandmother's side as they entered the camp, her tiny, plush tail waving a greeting to the DayClan leader as they arrived.
Darkcomplex felt incredibly awkward for arriving, and thanked the Sun God that the rabbit in his jaws to prevent him from having to socialize, at least initially. It had been a rough while with Shule's return, and he felt out of place celebrating, let alone being able to enjoy the atmosphere with Foxstar around. All the same, he was here for Glowstar, so he put on a smile to hide his inner turmoil, offering a slight nod to Green upon their arrival.
Windchaser padded into camp. She had been out searching for the perfect gift for Glowstar. She had been up since morning catching prey for this evening. Now, she had found the gift she felt Glowstar would like. It was hard to find and felt proud to have found it herself. It was an amber gemstone that she had wrapped in twine to look like a necklace. She hoped Glowstar would like it. She didnt care if Glowstar decided to wear it or not. At least she would always have it with her. Windchaser didnt want her leader to see the gift as she was bringing it in because she wanted to surprise her so she wrapped the paw-made necklace in a leaf bundle and carried it into camp. She took a seat at the edge of camp, curling her tail protectively over the leaf bundle as she watched cats from different territories enter.
Foxpaw sat near the fresh-kill pile. He didnt care if it was fish and snake. It looked tasty to him and his belly rumbled hungrily. He couldnt wait for the party to start.
Gravelshell, formely Gravelstar when she and Glowstar first became friends, allies, and mother and daughter-in-law, marched casually into the camp as if she didn't notice the bloody and still slightly squirming freshwater eel hanging from her wet jaws. The former leader of Waterclan had honestly been flattered when she heard Glowstar had invitied her to the party; the two had somewhat fallen out of contact with each other since she stepped down from her leadership, not to mention how dearly the tortoiseshell was in the Dayclan she-cat's debt for granting her mate, sons, and grandkit sancturary during the plague that nearly wiped out her entire clan. It was for those reasons that she went the extra mile looking for her gift. Eels weren't entirely rare in Waterclan, though quite hard to come by this time of year. But since Glowstar happened to love both fish and snakes, why not give her something that was a little bit of both?
An elderly black feline quietly kept to the shadows, watching foreign cat after foreign cat enter Dayclan's camp with cautious lavender eyes. Veteran Eclipse...honestly had no clue why Glowstar had taken the time to invite her. They had never exactly been friends, at least, not in the way she probably was with these other clan cats. Their relationship had purely been business; for a feud that didn't exist anymore, with an agreement that had nearly turned her own tykes into pawns. The former spy would never in her entire life regret Gardenia's existence, but Glowstar and Commander Fjord nearly got into a war because of Eclipse and her daughter San. So why had she been asked to come here? The she-cat glanced sheepishly down at the bundle of tunnel herbs that lay at her feet. Bat droppings for ticks, cave vines to bind broken bones, strong and sticky cobwebs for bleeding, and various other ferns and water plants she could sneak out of the Garden with help from her grandtykes. More importantly, why had she gone through the trouble to put together a gift?
So once she was certain her sister and her deputy had everything under control, she set off for DayClan.
Thrushstar met Burningstar on the path nearing DayClan's camp. "Hello," he said calmly, matching the pace of the leader. "I'm Thrushstar. We didn't get to speak much during the Gathering, however Glowstar seemed to stick to me like a tick." he said with a chuckle. "I'm the new leader of FallClan. I've never been invited to anything before as leader. It's going to be quite interesting.."
This was likely the very last place that one would expect to see the new Nemesis of Primal Instinct, and that was perhaps the very reason he was there. Solaris E’tan, newly titled as leader over the most vicious group in the forest, was a fan of hiding in plain sight. Coming here was a calculated risk, one that only he and his Warden knew about. Solaris had never met a clan cat, and no one left the League anymore. Who here would recognize him?
His motives in coming here were mixed. He was aware of Glowstar’s ancestry, and he was always intrigued by a former League cat. It had also been a while since Primal Instinct had interacted with the clans. He had come with no bad intentions, simply to observe and analyze, and he had come alone.
He had an alibi if anyone asked him. But the Nemesis had no plans to actively seek out socialization. There seemed to be a fair amount of cats here anyway, and they didn’t seem to all know each. So Solaris moved into the open space slowly (his frame was too broad and muscled to allow him to sneak anywhere), his amber eyes taking in the scene around him. He didn’t appear too out of place- besides his size and his half missing left ear, he wasn’t odd-looking. He was a ruddy ginger tom, with shaped features, long whiskers, and a piercing gaze. When no one took notice of him, he simply sat off to the side of the clearing, observing.
Glowstar tapped lightly at the fish catnip, "Wow, I haven't had this since I was an assassin. Though I'll save that for later, thank-you Rubyflame!"
Her eyes lit up seeing the group of SunClan cats come in and it was clear that for tonight, whatever raw coldness she felt for Foxstar wasn't there, "Hey Foxy! And omigash, Spell you've grown so much! Is that a full centimeter you've grown? Or maybe that's just your fur..."
Glowstar smiled almost shyly at Darkcomplex, but walked over to him and gave him an affectionate embrace, "I'm glad you came."
Immediately her line of sight was blinded by the amazing creature Gravelshell was carrying in her jaws and suddenly Glowstar was sprinting over to her.
"Gravelshell, it's so good to see you again," Lucistic purred to his mate just before getting bulldozed over by his mom.
"Gravelshell what is that a-mazing piece of prey you have! Is it a new snake? If I tear open its gut will it have more prey inside?" Glowstar asked excitedly with a big grin spread across her lips, she hadn't yet noticing the presence of Eclipse or Solaris.
Lucistic dusted himself off before meeting Solaris's gaze and gave a look that seemed to say, family, what are you gonna do? before avoiding the nemesis's eye contact. Deciding if Solaris wanted to approach him he would. It wasn't like he regularly shared with league cats that he had a mate outside of the league.
Windchaser remained where she was. She didn't want to get in the way of Glowstar's greeting. She was so happy and excited to see everyone who had come. Windchaser herself was impressed by the cats that were showing up. Including the nemesis of Primal Instinct. She really hoped everyone had come in peace tonight. This was a big day for everyone, especially Glowstar and she was determined to keep peace for the sake of her leader.
Burningstar blinked when Thrushstar approached her but she dipped her head politely. "It's nice to meet you Thrushstar, I did notice you by Glowstar at last gathering, but I didn't have a chance to speak with you. My name is Burningstar, leader of NightClan." She chuckled. "For almost 3 seasons now, it's crazy, but I remember starting out. Best of luck finding your paws as a leader. Is FallClan doing well?" She asked conversationally as they made their way towards DayClan's camp.
///---///
Rubyflame purred, though the purr died a bit when she saw Fox. Her eyes narrowed, still angry at the she cat for what she did to her children, so the Immortal Council Member shifted to find someone else to talk to. She wound up by Windchaser. "How are you doing Windchaser?" She asked the younger member of the immortal council.

The massive ginger form of Crimsonrose stepped into DayClan's camp. Her body scarred and battered but her amber eyes gleamed with good humor. She'd been surprised by Glowstar's invitation to her birthday party. The shard of Leatherstar not expecting such an offer as she and Glowstar had only really talked at a few gatherings. But she was pleased nonetheless. Since Leatherfern had been kicked out Crimsonrose had been considering taking Mysterykit and moving, as the new WinterClan leader. After Sweetpine took over long enough to kick Leatherstar out before leaving, seemed to plan big changes and Crimsonrose liked keeping her options open.
She caught League scent and turned her head to Solaris. She knew him from the league, but wondered why he was here. Or if the league still wanted her dead, for leaving to protect Mysterykit.
Well. The curl of her lip twitched upwards as she went over to the Nemesis. She didn't mind living dangerously. Beside Glowstar was busy interacting with an older she cat that smelled strongly of WaterClan.
Crimsonrose went over to Solaris. "Greetings Solaris, how fairs you and the league?" She asked, half expecting a civil response... the other half ready in case he had the more exciting response of attacking her immediately.
Windchaser dipped her head respectfully to Rubyflame. "Honestly, I'm pretty nervous about this whole thing. Most of these cats don't even like each other" she looked over at Foxstar in particular. She never trusted Foxstar and even with the alliance, she still felt uncomfortable with her here in their camp. "Thanks for asking, though. How are you?
Gravelshell's hazel eyes lit up at the sight of her mate, and she bounded forward to meet him, carefully setting the eel down at her paws before touching noses with him. "Lucisticcrow! I've missed you too, my love..." The she-cat blinked in surprise as she looked over and noticed Glowstar, full-on sprinting toward them, and quickly took a step back to avoid being run over like her mate. The tortoiseshell let out a purr of laughter at her mother-in-law's excitement; it reminded her of a kit staring in awe at a new discovery. "It's called an eel, Glowstar," She patiently explained, glancing over at Lucistic for a moment to make sure he was alright. "It's...I guess you could say it's a fish-snake? We catch them in Waterclan every so often. The skin's got a bit of a rubbery taste to it, like a salamander or a frog, but I find the meat to have a real exotic flavor."
Eclipse blinked in surprise as she watched Glowstar interact with her guests. The Dayclan leader certainly seemed to be in a good mood, which further relaxed her nerves knowing that this whole party was in good faith. Keeping her gaze down, the elderly Regime cat bent down to pick up her bundle and took a few, slow steps out into the camp's clearing to make herself known. Aside from the leaders and former leaders, there really wasn't anyone she recognized or knew personally. It had been many seasons since she had played a role in any sort of clan politics. At least that meant there wasn't a chance she'd get into any fights...
Solaris blinked at Crimsonrose's greeting. By all League rules, she was a deserter and it was his duty to execute her. But this didn't seem the place, nor was he motivated to end her life. She had left before his rise to power, and with the League as isolated as it was, it was unlikely she even knew he had been a Proxy, let alone that he was now the Nemesis. But maybe the news had leaked, and she was aware of his status change. It was amusing, their forms so close in appearance, that they could not be in more different places. So he simply inclined his head, keeping his voice low as he responded.
"Crimsonrose. It's certainly a surprise to see you again. The League is well, thank you. Yourself?" His voice had it's usual low and rumbling timbre, his words carefully chosen and his tone cordial.
"I am doing well, WinterClan's in a touch of turmoil, don't know if I'll be staying there for much longer." Crimsonrose said flicking her tail. "But well, when one has a daughter to raise choices must be made." Mysterykit had been the entire reason she had left the League. She had not been able to let her smallest die, despite it being league law for it to be done. Especially since Vera had bent the rules with her children and her children's children. "Have my other children done well in the league? Made names for themselves yet?" She asked. Though her tone was flippant, almost dismissive, she was curious to know how Elyon-chan and her other kits had fared in the league. The kits the league would view as desirable to be kept.
"They are faring well, as far as I can tell." Solaris had not yet decided if he would keep the rules of sacrificing the runt of the litter- it had driven Crimsonrose to leave, even under threat of death. "Elyon-chan is close to being promoted to trainee. She seems strong and healthy." The tom spoke truthfully- he would have delivered the worst of news, if any thing had taken place. "How is Mysterykit doing?" The Nemesis felt no reservations asking- it had not been him who had made the decisions that put the harsh laws into place.
"Mysterykit is thriving," Crimsonrose said a note of pride in her mew. "She will be a mighty fighter, as will Elyon-chan I'm sure, given time. By the time I was a trainee I'd already fought off my share of foxes." She said with a chuckle.

As late as always Aspidistraleaf entered the gathering of cats in celebration of Glowstar with a few bright flowers in her maw. She stopped on the outskirts looking about for her leader and friend.

She would never understand Glowstar. Foxstar shook her head slightly at the bubbly leader, her gaze drifting over those in the crowd. She recognized some, like Gravelshell, was irritated by the presence of others, like Crimsonrose, and yet others she didn't really know at all, but could place them based upon the scent that reached her nose, like Solaris. For the moment however, the Priestess deigned to speak to no one, simply watching the proceedings. Maybe SunClan wasn't the League, but the clan had certainly made a name for itself in recent times, taking over three clans, and Foxstar herself taking a life each from three leaders Glowstar herself including, during her reign. There were a lot of cats here, not all of them her allies, so it would be a good night to listen to conversation, if Green didn't drag her into something first.
The Regime she-cat hadn't been entirely sure she should attend. Given recent events, namely losing a life as a result of SunClan sending a patrol to the Regime's tunnels to attack the cats there, she was still recovering. However, her great-aunt Green had always been someone the former League she-cat had admired, and she'd been meaning to visit for a while, hence her presence now. The Raiser slipped quietly into the camp, noting those who were present, and regretting her decision to come almost immediately. Firstly, she saw Foxstar, and had a distinct desire to murder the leader then and there, though she supposed Glowstar would be irritated about her bad manners. Secondly, though she had never seen Solaris before, she recognized the League scent on him. The former Regime Chaman had left the League long ago, before even Quartet had taken her place as Nemesis, and though it was nearly impossible that anyone other than her own family would remember her time in Primal Instinct, that did nothing to quell the rush of hatred she felt at the familiar scent. Sharply, the she-cat turned away from the Nemesis and the WinterClan cat he was speaking to, looking to talk to just about anyone except Solaris.
"Wow. A fish snake!" Glowstar said, a shiver running through her voice in pure shock at the creature, it didn't take long, in fact it took four seconds for her to suddenly be on the next thing.
"Hey Eclipse! Welcome to the party," Glowstar greeted before noticing Aspidistraleaf and giving her a friendly wave and before long she was already moving on.
Lucistic walked sheepishly back over to Gravelshell, "Sometimes I even find it hard to imagine her as ever being an assassin. She seems to enjoy life so much and the way she taught me you may as well have thought she was teaching a beautiful art form. I don't know, I sometimes miss the way my family was in the league, but I'm happy my mom found some place like this and I'm glad I ventured to WaterClan like she did and met you," He said placing a paw over Gravelshell's, his tracing lightly along her spine.
"Miracle! Hey," Glowstar said, practically skipping over to her, "I haven't seen you in forever and I really should since Renegade's territory has now extended under ours."

Fallowing behind Aspidistraleaf was Leatherfern. Having taken on his Prison Guard name after being driven from WinterClan, the ex-leader held a glower as he entered the fray. He was rather offended Glowstar hadn't invited him.
