Lezane blinked his eyes as his sister, Luvina, rolled over in order to get a little more space in this dreadfully small patch of sunlight they could find in the clearing, or at least the only direct sunlight. Both looked particularly bored, but they always tended to have a look of boredom and distaste for the rest of the world in their gaze. Perhaps this came with the territory; they believed that they were the only thing that they needed. Even their other siblings paled in comparison at the closeness that these to had. They were ying and yang, but perfectly in sync with each other, to the point where it wasn't uncommon for one to start a thought and the other to finish. The rest of the world could never compare to them. Yet, sometimes, the other cats provided excitement for the dangerous duo, and today seemed like a day that excitement was needed.
"Ya think anything worth happening today will happen?" Lezane asked, his tone lazy.
Luvina shrugged. "Probably not," she replied easily, her gaze sweeping around the group.
It was quite odd for the kittens to find the current state of the Monarchy interesting. After all, their mother had killed herself, their grandmother was raising them, their sister was now the Vrachii, and there was no Tsar. How much more interesting could it get? However, much of this went right over their collective heads. What was the use of politics while you were a child, after all?

Naboris eyed the two kittens with curiosity. She had several siblings who loved to get under her fur and cause mischief. The slender feline could not imagine having a twin. She was the independent type and preferred to work alone. Her love for her family was fierce, but to have one of them constantly by her side would be odd. Well, being one of the odd ones out because of her own family line--or lack thereof-- she decided to make a few friends. It would probably be beneficial in the long run.
"Hello there." She greeted lightly as she approached the two. "Enjoying the weather?" Ah, what a lame statement for a quest of friendship. Oh well.
The twins honestly couldn't imagine it either way. They were opposites in a lot of ways, but at the same time, it almost felt as if they were of the same spirit. Different halves of the same whole. When one moved, the other moved. When one blinked, the other did. Almost perfectly in sync, a strange feature of children to have when they were still so young. Yet, in all of the universes out there, it was hard to envision that there was one where this wasn't the case, one in which Lezane and Luvina didn't coexist.
"The weather," started the one, before the other continued, "is just as unenjoyable as ever." Both laughed, before Luvina shifted so she could better see the creature that approached. "I mean," she then mused, "I'm significantly tired of the cold. Even the sunlight is just... cold. I don't like it."
"Soon, they say, sister," comforted Lezane. He licked her forehead, before turning her gaze to the other. "And yourself? How are you ... enjoying it?"
Fikre watched her twin siblings with veiled interest from where she sat a little ways off, curled up tight within the cold shadows. Eager to avoid the situation they found themselves within; talking about the weather and making small talk in anothers attempt to strike up a friendship. It wasn't that she was against friends, quite the opposite even as she was a loyal hearted she-cat. She simply despised making small talk, faking interest in things she could care less about.
Lezane found his gaze shifting over the area, just in time to notice Fikre. He raised his brow, before nudging his sister to gain her attention. Her gaze quickly followed his to their sister, and she flicked her tail. "What are you doing all the way over there when the party is obviously over here?" she asked, shifting slightly so that she could better see her sister
Lezane nodded. "Don't be such a bump on a log; you're more than welcome to join us, right?" he asked, although it was clear he wasn't really asking the other two for their permission.
"Maybe she's got a frog in her mouth?" A voice quipped after a pause in silence, not allowing Fikre to respond to her twin siblings.
Out from the shadows appeared a she-kit, with brown tabby fur and deep chocolate pools that gazed at the other kits in amusement. Rudania, the secondborn daughter of Tatri: beautiful, tall, and lithe, she had yet to acknowledge her envious looks as of yet (the other kits wouldn't understand, either). She was a mini Tatri, in all reality.
Rudania's steps were light and graceful, and she moved like a weeping willow in the soft breeze. Her paws led her to her sibling, Naboris, and with a purr, she rasped her tongue over her sister's face. "You taste like pigeon," She joked lightly, coming to sit against her haunches.

"Not quite. It would be nice if it warmed up soon." She commented before their attention turned to the other sibling. Naboris gave a shrug. Honestly, the more the merrier, right? That saying sounded odd in her brain simply because she was not usually the social type. Now, her littermate that approached was quite the opposite. Rudania seemed to be a natural when it came to socializing. "Ah, it's good to see you too." She responded dryly, yet there was a hint of humor in her gaze and voice.
Fikre pushed to her paws and headed over towards the twins, gaze going to Rudania. The kit obviously had meant nothing from her comment towards Fikre, but they were young and those sort of words would stick with her for awhile. Suddenly she didn't like the other pair of siblings, and suddenly she wanted to hide behind the more outgoing and bold twins. Golden eyes lowered she came to a stop beside them, close but never as intertwined as they two would be with each other. "I didn't want to intrude." She hummed softly in explanation towards them, though they had already but those worries to rest.
Both of the twins let their gaze rest on Rudania for a moment, not saying a word to her. Their gaze wasn't accusatory, though. Sometimes, the twins just didn't know what to say, and, well, any cat telling their sibling that they tasted like pigeon tended to prompt such silence from the duo. Lezane and Luvina didn't tend to be the joking type, nor would it be expected of either of the two to make such a response, so it took them a moment of consideration to even understand what the she-cat had said.
After a considering moment, Luvina was the first to look over to their sibling. "It looks like it's an entire party today, so I'm not sure that anything you do could be considered intruding at this point," she responded. Out of the two, she was the dryer of the two, the less patient. She was the one more likely to make pointed statements, and perhaps that was one of them.
Lezane nudged his sister. "Oh, don't be so suddenly sour," he chided her, before glancing towards the group as a whole. "Now that there's quite a crowd, maybe it's an opportunity to do something entertaining."
"I'm Rudania," The she-kit introduced herself, dipping her head to Lezane, Luvina and Fikre. "Nice to meet you!"
Turning her gaze back onto her sister, Rudania couldn't help but lean her weight against her, a flurry of purrs escaping the confinements of her throat. "Naboris, darling," She began to speak, "let's go do something fun. I wonder if Rune is around here somewhere; he's always fun."
Fikre pressed up closer to the twins, sharp beady eyes still watching Rudania with a blank sort of stoicism. Barley acknowledging Luvina's dry comment, used to it by now. "I think I'll pass on bothering the boyar." She spoke up, voice soft. "It doesn't seem all that particularly entertaining." And she wasn't sure she wanted to spend any more time around Rudania, who seemed more a nuisance that anything. The twins would be so occupied with one another, and Naboris and Rudania would probably be jsut as intertwined, leaving her the odd one out. Edging back a step and trying to think of a comment or excuse to get her out of the interaction.

Naboris rolled her eyes and gave Rudania a little nudge. "That's true. I don't know if we should disrupt him." She responded with a pointed look. Her eyes then shifted to Fikre. "Look, we aren't going to force you to come, but you might as well. What else were you going to do all day?" She meowed with a somewhat smile. Being the motherly type, Naboris did have a soft side for the lonely or left out. However, she wasn't going to make the other poda join if they were insistent on not.
Fikre wanted to argue there was plenty she could do all day but in truth her mind was coming up rather blank. But then again, what if she didn't even want to do anything for the day, did Naboris think of that. She slowly worked her way out of her sullen thought process and gave a small nod to the other kit. She would at-least tag along so she could feel included with the twins and hopefully bond a bit more with them if only a little bit.
"Hey, speak for yourself," meowed the male twin, gaze amused as he glanced to his sister. "They might not have forced you, but you wouldn't have gotten away so easily from us," he asserted, although his tone was playful. "No man left behind, that's our mantra."
"No, it's not," replied Luvina quickly. It was uncommon for the twins to disagree upon anything, but she certainly wasn't going to let the rest of BrookClan think that she was part of a union of the less fortunate.
"Okay, well, maybe its not," he replied to her, "but she didn't have to know that!" Lezane nudged her with his shoulder, before looking back to Fikre. "You're in whether you want to be or not."
"In on what?" The question was only a step away from accusatory as the small lithe shape of a brown tabby kitten seemed to slip out of no-where, as if he had managed to materialize out of thin air. Pressing closer to the small group, Anwel's eyes flickered across the little congregation with not too thinly-veiled concern.
"What were you all planning on doing?" This question, tinted with much more judgmental suspicion, was clearly aimed towards both Rudania and Naboris rather than his younger siblings. Of course, as the protective big brother he was, in his eyes Luzane, Luvina, and Fikre could no wrong and, if they were being tempted into doing something bad, it was most certainly the fault of other troublesome cats peer-pressuring or even forcing them into something. Eyeing up the two other kits, he pressed nearer to his siblings defensively as if he half expected them to start something right then and there.

(should I bring sevilin too? lol)
The wiry she-cat gave the tom a blank stare through narrowed eyes. Who did he think she was? Some hoodlum? "Nothing dangerous, of course." She reassured evenly, with just a bit of high air to throw the flicker of accusation back at him. "At least, not while I'm here." Her eyes shifted to Rudania, hoping her sister would not come up with some crazy plan. The last thing she wanted was Anwel's suspicions to be confirmed.
Luvina let out a bit of a sigh; she was used to, by this point, being infantalized by her eldest littermate. That didn't mean she liked it. In fact, she found it more offensive than anything. She was perfectly capable of taking care of herself! Yet, when Lezane's tail brushed her spine, she blinked the frustration away.
"There's enough of us now that we could play a game of some sort," Lezane offered with a shrug.
"Or we could explore," the royal girl then chirped. "This camp has been so absolutely drab."
"Yeah! Let's go exploring!" Rudania spoke up, an excited grin taking over her features. "Please, oh, please, Naboris! It will be so fun! Imagine all the things we'll discover!"
(sorry for the short post, my amusement is lacking)
Fikre brightened a bit with her eldest siblings arrival, knowing that now there was no chance of her being left out. Not when he had a shrewd eye on them. "Where would we explore?" She asked curiously, not sure if it appealed to her. But as the twins said, she would be tagging along no matter what. So maybe she could have some input.. "We could try and go to the haunted brook?" While she cared little where they went the stories she had heard about the place made her at-least a little curious.

Naboris rolled her eyes at her sisters over-enthusiastic pleads. "Fine, but we need to make sure not to get in trouble or get under anyone's paws." She responded before hearing Fikre's suggestion. Her ears flicked up in surprise, but her pride refused to give away the nervous feeling. "Maybe we should pick somewhere a bit safer?"
"The Haunted Brook?" A voice spoke up from nearby and Sevilin approached the other podas. "You're feeling bold, hm Fikre?" He spoke to his sister, a slight tease to his charming voice.
