Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. racing with adrenaline being pumped throughout her veins. Her bi-colored eyes were wide and afraid, darting around the room of the nursery as shadows danced on the wall, the light spilling into said room coming from the moon outside. It was a clear night, with the stars shining brilliantly, and with the light cast from the moon, it made way for a perfect adventure. Maybe this would help her forget the nightmare she already couldn't comprehend.
The molly rose from her place upon the moss bed, a groan exhaling from her leathery lips as she stretched out her long legs. She stood taller than all of her siblings, including the toms, for she had her father's height. Whoever he was. When her and her siblings first came to WinterClan, they were found on the edge of the border, reeking of SpringClan. Nonetheless, the warriors took them in and queens alike cared for them, and Goldenkit couldn't have been more grateful for their kind hearts; yet, she still felt misplaced.
Her eyes cast in the direction of her sleeping littermates, and with a grunt, she began to poke and prod at them, trying her best to wake them up. "Come on, you little gremlins," She hissed, an orange tabby paw coming down to rest upon Platinumkit's head and pushing down with force. Finally, her siblings began to stir, and she sat back with a grin. "There we go. Now, let's go. We have plenty of things to do."
Fur stood along his spine at the first poke, bristling in defense as the tom kit was roughly awoken by his sister. As she spoke his eyes narrowed and he pulled forward, rolling away from her to hunch onto his stomach, turning blistering golden orbs towards her. Lip curling as he met her mismatched gaze, watching her force Platniumkit's head down and growing more annoyed. Biting his tongue he turned away, knowing if he continued to watch he would snap at her rude mannerisms; not wanting to fight. Not when arguing with Goldenkit was like banging your own head into a rock repeatedly, Silverkit under the impression that nothing ever for through her thick skull.
Raising to a sitting position, his shoulder turned towards his bundle of siblings he started grooming out his silver, pebbled black fur. Tangles having started to form through his sleep, furthered along by his close proximity to his siblings during the night. His thoughts turned towards what he would do during the day, as they often did in the morning. The tom the sort to need a plan, to at-least consider the next steps and what lied ahead of him.
Not opposed to spontaneity but could it really be spontaneity if the tom considered the possibility of going off task and allotted time to do the other things he had planned for the day if he did indeed get distracted or venture off his planned course.

"Perhaps sleeping can be on that list of things to do." Emeraldkit followed her brothers hiss with her own dark response. She was leaning towards ignoring them all and staying warm and cozy in the nest. "Besides we are but kittens. what could we possibly have to do today?" she was feeling rather indifferent to the games of kittens and she herself felt moons older than she was.
Platinumkit let out a startled hiss, as his head was shoved downwards. However, he wasn't the type of cat to take that sort of abuse lying down. Using all four paws he lifted upwards and pushed towards her sister to give her a well deserved blow to her jaw line.
"WHAT HAS GOTTEN INTO YOU SIS" he growled, his claws emerging from their sheathes. Platinumkit was always grumpy when woken up, much less in such a rough manner. Now free of his sister's grip he shook out his fur, narrowing his mistmatched eyes upon her. "You know I don't rise before the sun" he added matter of factly turning his nose up at her, even though she was taller than him.
There was a world and reality beyond his conscious mind, things that were swirling and stitching in his sleep, bubbling in the back of his unconscious. The delicate threads of early childhood weaving the base for all that would be him, the past gently guiding the hand of present to create the future in a micro-chasm of a single existence - and yet, all that was and would be had been crafted by outside presences. He was merely the substance inside the mold of circumstance, too young to be much else. But these things were beyond him, beyond his clan-mates, perhaps beyond anyone but whatever deity dictates fate and the sad lives of men. What living person can comprehend the way the world crafts beings and for what purpose? There is none, is a mystery.
So we are forced to judge people by the moment of action, and not by the actions of those that set the actors into motion.
Bronzekit dreamed no dreams, or if he did they were lost in the depth of darkness, and he awoke with the shadows of sleep grasping at his mind to once again become one with the endless ebony void that was the purest form of restful tranquility. It was his sister's poking and jabbing, her voice tearing into him that ripped him from rest, but it was the voices and movements of his other siblings around him that slowly pried drowsiness away from him. He opened his eyes, the haze of dreariness his first warning that what had ought to of been a restful night sleep had been cut short, only confirmed as his golden eyes peered through the darkness to see only the soft glow of the moon gently lightened the darkness, not so much chasing away the shadows as striking some treaty with them, harmonizing with them as to gently brighten the world, but not cast the ink of night away like the sun so proudly did.
He tightened his round eyes, crinkling them into a glare of distaste, his mouth a frown crooked with irritation and frustration playing at the edge of his lips. "Gah, stop it! Goldenkit, you're going to poke out my eye!" He snapped, one-third stepping, squirming, and stumbling to get away from his sister's pokes and prods as he further blinked the blur of sleeping from his golden optics which gleamed iridescent in whispers of moonlight. Unknowingly he had managed to side-step the situation in perfect timing with his brother waking up, and rather nonchalantly half-witnessed his brother's attack on his sister, which he much appreciated despite not quite fully comprehending what was happening.
"What time even is it? Why is everyone even awake?" He mumbled, mostly to himself as he half-halfheartedly swiped a paw over his face in hopes to further wake himself.
"Everyone is awake because Goldenkit is a nuisance." Silverkit replied, casting a glance over towards Bronzekit. "No wonder we were abandoned like diseased prey, Goldenkit probably chased them away being her charming self." The hurtful words curled free of his maw to cut viciously, though Silverkit seemed unaware he was wielding a weapon at all. No mind payed to his remark as he readily moved on once more. No regard paid towards Goldenkit's possible reaction, or thought towards the damage such words could cause among them.
Unthinkingly cruel, unintentionally cutting, really the tom was an embodiment of the parents he might never know. Pushing to his paws the small tom, the smallest of the litter, moved towards the exit. Eager to escape the possible chance of Goldenkit deciding he was her next victim. He didn't want his eye poked out, as Bronzekit had warned Goldenkit might happen if she keep prodding and poking while barley paying any attention at all.
Frozenwaters was sitting and keeping watch. She sighed heavily. Since Sweetpine had kicked out Leatherstar, WinterClan had been in turmoil. Sweetpine not giving any direction, or taking his lives. Thus it left them without direction so cats were mostly doing whatever they wanted.
Though crimsonrose, who was stuck because of Mysterykit being in the nursery, had warned that any cat who ate before queens and kits would be clawed. Though the shard took no prey for herself first and let other queens and kits eat first, the former league cat made it clear that anyone who disobeyed this restriction would be in for it. Since it was the most sensible option no cat really had challenged Crimsonrose on this, but aside from this it was mostly lawless and there was a lack of order in Winterclan's camp.
So Frozenwaters sat perched on the rock keeping watch, not just beyond the camp, but also occasionally casting glances back towards camp. She'd always wanted to be a rescuer, and with the rescue team now gone and in this time without laws, Frozenwaters felt like the clan needed someone to keep watch more than ever. So she did.
Rubykit was actually still asleep. Surprisingly. The little kitten was dreaming of flowers and butterflies, as cliche as it sounded. It was a peaceful dream, and truly had no hidden meaning.
The large kit rolled her eyes at her siblings' yelling at her, sighing dramatically. "I woke you up for a reason, fools," She hissed, her tail lashing out behind her. Upon noticing Rubykit's still-sleeping state, she strode over to her, bringing up a paw and gently waking her sister up. In all truth, Rubykit was her favorite; she was the only one that wasn't rude to her in the slightest. Silverkit, on the other hand, was a child from hell. "We're going on an adventure," Goldenkit stated matter-of-factly, her mismatched eyes regarding her siblings with amusement dancing within them. "It's time we do some bonding of our own. I heard that if you go to the river late at night, you're bound to see ghosts!"
“Mmm...” she opened her mouth as she felt her side being nudged. The kitten smacked her lips together a few times, eyes slowly peeling open. “Adventure..?” She echoed, her head lifting. She was not the easiest cat to wake up, very slow going at first.
"You can go on some mousebrained adventure Goldenkit, I shall stay here." Silverkit hummed, peering down his nose towards his sister. A difficult task considering she stood slightly taller than he himself did. "I have no desire to spend more time with your obnoxious self than I already do by inhabiting the same den." He continued, unable to not poke at open wounds and try to flay skin with his words. Such a bitter creature wrapped in thorns and dripping with poison. Sharp edges seemingly unable to be dulled be either kindness or scolding. "You can take whatever one of our siblings are foolish enough to go with you." Despite his words he knew he would go if Bronzekit or Emeraldkit decided to go.
“Oh Silverkit!” Suddenly she was wide awake and bouncing to her paws. “It will be an adventure! Exciting! Dazzling! Let’s go, pretty please with a fish scale on top?” Her eyes were wide and shining, begging to her sibling.
"Where did you hear such a silly saying!?" Silverkit gaped, distracted from his bitterness and spite by Rubykit's words. "Fish scale? Where have you ever even seen a fish? I know I've never seen one among the fresh-kill pile. The rivers are always frozen. COuldn't you have said with a snowflake on top. Fish scale." He scoffed as he glared towards the ground suddenly. Hoping his siblings would be distracted from their quest now.
