Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Well, no. But, but... was his scent there? There are other black cats in the forest, right?" she asked, her questions in quick succession. She was desperate for some doubt that it was her uncle, just as desperate as the kadet was for her mother to come back. How was it that both of them had disappeared right after each other? Were the rumors true? Had they really both abandoned the group? The she-cat, barely bigger than a poda, refused to believe it. It couldn't be true.
"Penny for your thoughts, brother?" meowed a she-cat as she padded up to him. Yael, the doe, looked interested but in a cautious way. She had an inkling of what her brother intended to do, and she appreciated it. The Lamia House deserved much more than it had gotten, much better than the deal it had been dealt. "Please tell me that you are fully intending what I think you are." Her tail flashed across the earth, a devilish smile on her face. She was an impulsive creature, one who wore her intentions on her shoulder. She was not like her brother, who was curious and wondered if he should wait before he lay his claim. She wanted things, and she wanted them now. "If you aren't, I might just have to beat you to the punch."
[ Cesare wants the throne for himself too... But basically no one should support this. He's horrible and even his own family doesn't really like him. xD ]
"There are other black cats." Lakeveil agreed, her tail resting gently across Lua's shoulders as she stepped up to the scene, her expression landing on the deceased with a look of sadness flickering across her mossy eyes. The she-cat had been a longtime supporter of Kerrigan, considering the Tsar had been the one to give her family status as Dvorayne, so few had reason to doubt the judgement of the newly named Head of Sterling House. "Even so, Changeling has a point. Everette is coincidentally missing and a body has now been discovered. It's not a stretch to assume he killed Skywillow and fled, though the question would be... why? Can any of the Harlows, or any cat in the rest of BrookClan for that matter, vouch for him?" Her gaze drifted across the cats, even knowing that they couldn't give him an alibi without making up a lie. Everette had disappeared who knew where, and while cats could vouch for him up to his disappearance, they couldn't know where he was now, or had been in the last hour or so at least, and that was what mattered.
Nadia, for her part, couldn't care less of what was going on. She was the last of the original families still in a position of nobility. She kept herself out of trouble, put up no fights, and really, was an entirely useless Dvorayne and Caerwyn. Her family would have probably been disappointed. It was irony at it's finest, that the she-cat who could have gotten tossed from the group if her father's identity had been found out was the only remaining one of any of the families still royalty. Despite her tendency to keep out of things, she recognized Changeling in an instant. He looked incredibly like her cousin Leonid, and she'd have almost thought it was him, until he opened his mouth. "Who are you to say who killed Skywillow? Unless you were there." Her voice was dull, uncaring and cold, and really, she didn't know why she said anything at all. It didn't matter in the end, anyway. "Could have been a rogue, for all we know."
