Pinepaw tore her gaze off of Swiftstorm to meet Flamingpaw's gaze. "No, are you?" she asked, quietly, still trying to process what just happened while wondering what was going to happen to MoonClan now that they had surrendered.
"No" she answered. Skipstep hadnt harmed her much. Her neck was just sore from the pressure but nothing serious. "But since your okay..." She cuffed Pinepaw over the ears. "What were you thinking? You could have been killed!"

Foxstar smiled slowly, the expression vicious and dark with victory. Perfect. "SunClan, ensure that the MoonClan cats are subdued and returned to their dens, then set up posts to ensure no one gets any wise ideas. One of you can take charge and pick out a pawful as well so that they may bury their dead. I'll arrange a patrol to inform the rest of the Pride of our victory." The Priestess voice was a purr as her tail twitched, dismissing the cats to their orders, and glancing over the cats for those who would make a good addition to her own patrol. They could be the younger or weaker cats, in this instance, as she was merely leaving to inform Glowstar and Burningstar, namely, about MoonClan's surrender. DayClan, she was certain, would appreciate the extra prey during the leafbare season.
Skipstep nodded to Foxstar and turned to Swiftstorm, "You, grab some cats to bury them," He flicked his tail towards the bodies pointedly. "I'll accompany them to wherever they take them." The sunclan janus said simply.

Swiftstorm sadly nodded and went to Asphodel's body, gently grabbing her scruff and dragging her onto her back. Warm blood trickled down his back, turning cold as it ran down his paws.
Skipstep glanced towards the other body, the body of lureluster. "There's another body." He noted. "Are you really planning on doing multiple trips?" His meow was tight, with displeasure. That didn't sound particularly respectful. It would mean leaving one of MoonClan's cats out either by where the burial site was, or leaving their body lying out in the clearing while Swiftstorm went through the task of digging and burying the one he held.
"Well why don't you help instead of standing there looking useless?" Pinepaw snarled at Skipstep as she stalked off towards Lureluster's body. She grabbed her deceased Clanmate's scruff and attempted to start moving her body, but being still small and slenderly built she struggled with the weight of a full grown cat.
Phoenixblaze hurried quickly over to the two young apprentices. "I'll carry her." she told them softly, not wanting her cousins to go off on almost on their own with SunClan cats.

Swiftstorm takes her body to the makeshift graveyard he decided to make. A beautiful area overlooking the lake by a willow tree.
The moon was now rising to the sky, casting its light across the lake, shimmering and calm. The wind rustled the leaves of the willow tree, whispering its sorrows to him.
He gently set down Asphodel and began digging a hole to lay her in. "She looks so peaceful..." He stated. He looked at Jynxlaughter and Lureluster, solemnly bringing himself back together.
He gently smiled to Flamingpaw and Pinepaw. What loyal cats. He thought to himself.
Flamingpaw began digging a seperate hole from Swiftstorm for another grave. She didnt notice Swiftstorm looking at her but he sure was wrong to think she was loyal. She was anything but that. She cared about the fallen warriors but loyalty wasnt the right word for it.
Inferiorchoice was right there with the MoonClan cats, right beside Swiftstorm in helping dig a grave for her mother, even as tears fell onto the frozen ground. In that moment, she hated her biological mother. She hated SunClan, and she hated Foxstar more than she ever had before, heart burning up in anger and grief. She didn't care what the MoonClan cats thought about her helping, didn't care if they recognized her, though she'd lived with them from the time she was a kitten to nearly a warrior. Even if they did, she didn't care what they thought. The patched tabby was here for Asphodel, for the mother who raised her. "She's with the Moon God now." The she-cat agreed softly, her voice hoarse and thick with sadness. If there was one thing she was thankful for, it was that Foxstar hadn't had the chance to curse Asphodel. That meant there was a chance for her to be welcomed by the Moon God in death, and given her commitment to the clan, right up until her death, Inferiorchoice would say there was a good chance that she'd not be punished for her past. She hoped so, anyway.
Skipstep glanced towards Inferiorchoice, he glanced back in the direction of their clanmates. As far as he could tell no one had noticed how close Inferiorchoice was standing and assisting the moonclan cats.
He turned back narrowing his eyes, part of him understood. Though Inferiorchoice had been stolen away, as far as she understood Daylight had raised her, had been [her mother. Like how Littlebird's kits would likely only recognize him as their father, despite them not keeping it a secret of Leatherstar being their father. seek However, Inferiorchoice had to be careful, he'd let her slide this time. As he understood, and he wasn't close enough to tell for sure if she was doing more than seeking solace and support from others after Foxstar slayed Daylight.
He surveyed the MoonClan cats burying their dead, keeping a mask of calm. They'd been given the choice to surrender, they were warned. This was punishment, however harsh it was.

Swiftstorm raised his head to the sky and started to say a prayer.
"To the Moon God, we pray. May you give peace to our fallen comrades. They have walked righteously in your way and now we return them back to you. May you grant them good hunting, good health, and shelter to lay their heads. Guide them and guide us on our moonlit nights."
He dipped his head as he sat vigil for them, feeling a twinge of peace, but only for a heartbeat.
