(woah o.o so sorry, y'all cx I got a puppy and have been very distracted lol)
Ironkit picked her way around all of the sleeping kits, trying to be careful not to wake them or trample them with her large paws. She squinted her eyes against the dark, making sure not to disturb her younger cousins as she approached Soaringbird. Her mind shifted through all the appropriate ways to wake a sleeping cat before finally deciding to just give her a little prod in the side. "Uh.. Soaringbird?" She whispered gruffly.

(Aww, Puppy!)
Cannalily aided Twilightkit in pulling the vine down. She gripped on with her teeth and pulled, and managed to bring it down. There were still some leaves attached to it. She smiled brightly at Twilightkit.
Soaringbird stirred and lifted her head slowly blinking at Ironkit for a moment. Then she perked up when she realized Ironkit was waking her. "Yes Ironkit? Is there something you need?" She asked softly keeping her voice down.

Relieved that she woke up in a good mood (Ironkit was never one to rouse calmly from sleep), she pointed with her tail to the hole. "Mama, some other kits, and I are trying to cover up that pesky thing before we all freeze to death. Could you help us?" She asked as politely as her little gruff self could manage. Even though she was adopted, she had grown accustomed to calling Burningstar her "Mama" and Soaringbird her "Aunt" or "Auntie."
Soaringbird let out a yawn and pushed herself to her paws. "All right, all right, I can assist." She glanced down to make sure her kits were still asleep before she followed her niece out the silver and gray tabby giving herself a brief shake once she stepped out. "So where's this hole?" She asked and then glanced towards Cannalily. "Hello Cannalily, roped into helping as well?" She asked letting out a yawn.
Burningstar came back a few moments later with some mud in a bundle of leaves that she set down. "All right, here's the mud needed to help patch the hole." Burningstar said with a purr. "And you're awake." She noted to her sister.
Soaringbird yawned. "Well the kits will be apprentices soon, and though I'll be happy to go back to warrior duties, I'd like to enjoy the naps I get to have." She said.

Turbulentkit nodded looking up at the hole that needed to be patched. While the others had went to gather materials, he remained inside. His extremely short coat making it very uncomfortable to be outside in the cold. "How many cats does it take to patch a hole" he joked looking at all the cats that had gathered to help fix a rather simple problem

Ironkit glanced around the group, feeling a strange warmth gather in her chest as she did so. It made her feel strong with all the cats helping. "It's up there." She responded, pointing with her little tail to the hole. "I was trying to reach it, but I'm too short." She added with a grumble.
"All the queens, and the rest of the clan and kits to watch," Soaringbird responded to Turbulentkit.
Burningstar set down her bundle and straightened up to get a good look at the hole. "Ah, yes that won't be hard to fix. I'll start applying some mud to the leaves there and then cannalily you can add some leaves. Soaringbird and Ironkit, make sure we're grabbing the right supplies," She said her whiskers twitching as she looked back at her daughter.
"I'll start applying the mud now, kits you start handing Cannalily and Soaringbird the leaves, start with the big thick ones first and then the littler ones," Burningstar meowed as she began to apply mud to the edges of the gap. "All right you two can apply the leaves now." Burningstar said edging to the side to make room for the other two cats.
Soaringbird took it from Turbulentkit, "Thank you Turbulentkit," She purred as she got onto her hind legs, even going so far as to prop herself up on Burningstar's shoulder for support as she stretched to place the big leaf over the hole, patting it down carefully to make sure it held.
