Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
You'll find your happy ending. You're happy ending is just around the corner. You'll find your happiness. All phrases she heard more times than she could count as a young kit. Born to a pair of young lovers who were truly besotted with one another. Soulmates and preaching about their kits beautiful futures at every chance they could get, convinced their daughters and sons would find their fairy tale ending just as they had. Instead when Beldam found her love it ended in solitude and death, misery and pain. Her first love ripped from her by her brothers claws. She met the rouge when she struck away from her parents and was immediately swept off her feet truly and deeply in love with him. She ignored his faults, his cruel behavior towards her and her own declining health. Determined that it would work out, that she had met her soulmate and he just needed time. It was time they never got as Riddle her brother saw her decline, saw his cruelty and killed him. Beldam raged when she found her mates dead body, when she scented her brother, she knew he had killed her mate but she could not find him to repay the favor. From them on she chased her happy ending, but they were always lacking in something, always letting her down. Each relationship ended in the toms death by her paws, either violently or in the most peaceful manner she could manage depending on her fondness for them. In her travels she grew a bit of a reputation of a witch, able to give she-cats poisons to escape their own unhappy matehoods, or to be infertile so they could avoid kits, or to end their pregnancies they did not want. She lead revolutions and gathered groups of cats under her current mates name to live as a colony only to abandon it all. Beldam chases an intangible happy ending that she can't ever seem to be satisfied with, always seeking more. Her lack of sentimentality and cold hearted nature has meant she's turned away from any chances she's had thus far. Leaving her kits abandoned and alone without either parent and ending many toms lives for the simple crime of not meeting her own standards. Shunning her own siblings for their criticisms of her lifestyle. A snake in the grass this beautiful siamese is a mirage.
familiar with many posions. Killed every one of her mates except her first one who Puzzlemaker then Riddle killed. She has always helped other she-cats get herbs to either end their pregnancies or make them infertile. a skilled liar and cold hearted.
Often her kits are adopted/homed by one of her siblings often Puzzlemaker who takes them and finds somewhere for them to go. An older brother going around and cleaning up his little sisters mess.

Their father was a sweet kittypet that Beldam convinced to leave his home to join her in the wild. She grew tired of his reliance on her to learn hunting and as such and killed him in his sleep when Hawise and Wendel were 3 moons old.

their father was a warrior from an unnamed clan but had a higher rank, Beldam liked him well enough, enough to try for kits and a family. One of the few she did not kill he died in a border skirmish. After a moon of him not returning she investigated, upon learning of his death she left. Her kits never found out what happened to their father or where their mother disappeared to after she left them to go looking for him. They were 5 moons old.

Sabellius has always been a bit of a bully towards Macsen while doting on Praxis
born during a fierce winter storm their father was a strong loner that lived on the edges of winterclan territory, Beldam was fonder of him than most and stayed with him until her three kits were 7 moons old, then she pushed him into a snow cavern and told her kits he simply disappeared, the next morning when the kits woke she was gone as well.

They are all rather independent cats by nature.
Beldam originally was rather taken with his father who was very similar to herself. After she had her kits the tom looked into Beldam and heard some of her horrid past. They fought, she declared she hated him and berated him. They continued to fight and it escalated until Vauguelin's 2 siblings were killed though it's unclear which parent killed them. Vauguelin managed to escape the same fate but running. Beldam succeeded in killing the tom though earned a few rather harsh scars in the battle. She took many moons alone after before trying to find a mate again. Vauguelin was 8 moons old when he ran.
Their father was actually the one who raised they for 12 moons, Beldam disappeared when they were 3 moons old on an 'errand', in truth a she-cat had requested her help and she went to help her. She returned to find the tom and the kits had moved on without her and there was a new she-cat in her place. Infuriated she killed the she-cat and the tom and left (she-cat might have been pregnant). When the kits came to visit their father they found their corpses.

They say a mothers love is unconditional, but what of that of a fathers? Or does their love come with conditions and stipulations. Strawdisappointment would say it does, he would say that growing up his fathers love could not be extended to him because his own failure in meeting those conditions. His own eye color disqualified him from contention for his fathers affections well before his personality could win it back. Not that his personality would win him anything in Kier's eyes. No, his hesitant words and anxious fretting as a kit won him nothing but disdain in the eyes of some and pity in the eyes of others. Often he contributes his happy moments in his younger years solely to his sisters. Who did their best to help bolster him though even that grew suffocating in time. At times the only peace he felt was in the quiet moments were he retreated to isolated places where his solitude was guaranteed. There is peace in loneliness after all, but there is also pain. Being alone never felt right, sometimes it felt good, but it never felt right. He fights with the desire for approval, torn between seeking validation and spurning that sort of dependence. All Strawdisappointment wants it to be more than his name, more than his blood, more than his father thought he could ever be.

eventual fallout with his father? The prime teenage screaming match where they accuse their parents of never loving them. Except in this case it might be true and it'll hurt very nicely.
He's afraid he's dragging Maiden down with him, because she favors him so and he worries Kier will start holding that against her as he holds Disappointment's resemblance to Mal against him.
Sometimes he just wants to forget his place in their little family and hides away for days until someone comes and drags him back. But he would also fight anyone who tried to force him from his siblings including his father.
He doesn't like using his position as Kiers son in fights or to gain leverage because it seems so fragile. He's afraid one day he'll wake up and Kier will send him away so he doesn't dare try and take advantage of his circumstances.

LUMINARIES open rp position can joing through this thread. An elite senior warrior no open history of elementals in their bloodline.
THE COUNCIL elders, disabled, those who cannot openly fight or support moonclan physically but can be made use of in a more strategic advising role. They vote on whether to allow prisoners to join and undergo the trial period to become hunters.
HUNTERS the warriors, the fighters, they are Moonclans first defense and providers. The warriors of moonclan, they defend the clans borders and hunt for the clan.When they , they fight viciously and lay their lifes on the line for Selene.
STUDENTS In training to be hunters of Moonclan and proper followers of Selene's word. They work under the hunters to learn the skills they will need to one day be an asset to the clan. In their ascension from a fledgling to a student they swear an oath to uphold the beliefs of the clan and honor the moon.
MOTHERS They are the ones who are the first to teach new minds the way of Selene. They preach her teachings to the young minds under them and lead classes from young ages. Only the most trusted she-cats are awarded this role and trusted with the surrendered fledglings of Moonclan.
FLEDGLINGS The youngest lifes in the clan they are encouraged to learn the ways of Selene, to be prepared for what is expected of them in their future. To further their confidence and talents for when they become students. Often given games of war or strategy to play or puzzles and riddles to solve.
PRISONERS Those that wish to join Moonclan, undergo a trial period. Before they are even allowed to become prisoners they are evaluated by the council. Before they reach the council they must get approval from the Minister who will pass on his word to the Commissioner who will carry that verdict to the prisoner and then either shepherd them to the council and call a session or ... dispose of them.

[attr=class,GETOUTTAHERE] Moonclan has entered a new age, a new era. They seek to truly embrace their roots, embody all their name lays at their paws.
In the simplest of terms Moonclan is moving in an isolationist direction both due to Sunclan’s attack and the great culling. What is the great culling, well it was of-course when Selene sent her guidance and culled their clan of those too weak to join them in this new age. By her blessings now only the strong, the open remain among their numbers. Moonclan is fully embracing the word of Selene and who carries her word and interprets it but Puzzlemaker himself, the only one who can truly channel her and hear her guidance. But was the great culling really at Selene's word? Or is there something else happening behind the scenes?
Currently they have only three adult cats and two of those are the Minister and Commissioner themselves. How convenient that Moonclan chooses to start preaching a religious creed when among their numbers are a majority of impressionable young minds. Do secrets lie beneath the surface that Selene is being used to hide? Or have the upper echelons of the clan really been communing with Selene and gaining guidance on this new age for Moonclan?
Will you join these young cats in their journey into adulthood? Will you seek the truth of what's really happening among those on the top of Moonclan, or will you be a true believer of Selene and the model follower?

They make note of certain advantageous pairings to share with the luminaries. If a Mother does not wish for you to become a student you will not become a student. They assign your lunar alignment, they control your future.
✮Luminaries could ruin you, you may come to them with kits you've brought into the clan but if you're a pair of two Waxing females they might still not approve your pairing and instead encourage you to sit down and meet this cute Waning tom who is just a darling. Wouldn't it be so much better! The two of you could have kits of your blood!
✮ Selene has an ideal for each Lunar alignment which can be found on the Lore page. But if you do not live up to this ideal be prepared for the gossip behind your back and the gentle or not so gentle intervention of the Luminaries. Don't worry they will help you find the right path; their light bringers after all.
✮ The Minister is considered the voice of Selene, untouchable, above your earthly concerns. To speak to him means going through the proper channels such as through the Luminaries who will go to the Commissioner who will then decided if it's a matter worth bothering the Minister for.
✮ While you are assigned your Lunar Alignment by one of the Mothers you can still have it changed later in life. But again not at your own say, no a Luminary might ask if you want to change it if you are insisting on pairing with a cat of the same alignment and gender as yourself. After all it's not socially acceptable for two Waning toms/females or two Waxing toms/females to be together. The social stigma one might carry even if this pairing got approved would be unbearable! The shame!
