Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Skeletalrose let out an insane little giggle, her eyes glazing over in copper for a long moment as she stared at her sister before it went back to normal. "She's not the only one. But maybe, just maybe, we can get you a new set of claws, hmm? I'd love to see Pomegranatedecay's expression as you left a permanent mark across her pretty little face." And there it was again, being too nice to her sister, saying words that if they were still within the confines of WinterClan, could get her in as much trouble as her dear sister. But Skeletalrose knew when to hold her tongue. After all, who would believe Sludge over her anyway?
"Do you not like her either?" Sludgemilk asked with uncertainty, but also kept her eyes trained on the ground to show some level of subservience, "Pomegranatedecay I mean."
"Mmm, call it creative differences. Bit too stuck up for what's good for her." Skeletalrose replied. "Never lets the rest of us have any fun. Imagine what we could have gotten away with if she hadn't set up this culture of perfection?"
"That's true, I know when we were in DayClan I was so overwhelmed by all the choices," She said feeling herself open up more, "I just wanted to try everything because I felt like I couldn't back home. Maybe if we had more freedom I wouldn't have felt like I need to splurge. I wish i could say I was glad things went the way they did, that I tried to love, but it's my biggest regret in my life."
"Wanna know a secret? But you can't tell anyone, or I'll make sure you're tortured worse than what Pomegranatedecay did." Skeletalrose didn't wait for an answer, she'd likely be fearful enough of the threat, or know that this was dangerous enough territory to keep her mouth shut. "My mate is sick because I'm killing him. Mom wanted a political marriage, and I promised Pomegranatedecay I'd have a litter of kits to make her and mom happy. Never promised I'd keep the mate afterward."
Sludgemilk swallowed hard at Skeletalrose's promise of tormenting her, but found herself gasping aloud at Skeletalrose's confession. "Skeletalrose!" She laughed shakily, but it was more out of impressed bewilderment and wow, apparently she wasn't as kind as she thought to be impressed about her sister slowly murdering her mate. "I thought you would want a mate... Isn't mom just going to pair you up again? I mean that's what she does."
"Then I kill him too, or he has an accident. I don't care if the rumors paint me as bad luck. So long as I'm not blamed for the deaths, does it matter? I don't really consider them loves, more like playthings to amuse me. After all, they're there to be my mate right? Why not have a little fun if mom's going to insist?" She giggled. "He'll be dead by the time the kitting comes, or soon after. I'm considering pawning off the kits on a governess, what are they there for if not to make my life easier?"
Sludgemilk got quiet, "I wish I could have, no I would have given everything except... Except maybe my life to have been able to have my kits still," She said, feeling the envy pull at her once more. Why did her sister get to have kits and she couldn't? Maybe it just really wasn't her fate. Cats in different clans could be kind, but there was something wrong with her to have wanted Mothpaw. "I guess I wish I was just born right, then I could have been cruel and not cared and have kits I could have raised. I guess I still will when I get pregnant soon enough."
"Play the part, do what you need to to have your happiest ending." Skeletalrose shrugged. Was that an endorsement for being a traitor. "So long as you don't jeopardize my lifestyle, things will be a-okay on my end."
"Well, soon I'll redeem myself, I just need to have a litter with Tangledlight and I mean, I don't know him, but that's fine. I'm just glad to have someone in my life," She smiled as they exited the MountainClan area. They had a really long walk ahead... "What do you think of me by the way?"
"I was betrothed to Furorstorm since kithood, and I still barely know anything about him. He does fear spiders though, that I know." Skeletalrose commented, noting where they were quietly. "And I don't know, don't really care too much about it either. I've never really cared about family."
"Well until I give birth to my second litter you get to shove me around so I guess that's a plus to hanging out with me," Sludgemilk said, pausing and then randomly asked, "Hey, have you ever met Senescence? She's related to us."
"Pretty sure we met her when we tried to take over DayClan that once. And she's part of WinterClan now, so I see her around sometimes. Why?" Skeletalrose asked.
"Nothing, just saw her around too and was wondering if I was the only one," Sludgemilk said honestly, "She just, I don't know how to describe it, it's not that she's off, but just gives me an odd feeling."

"Good odd, or bad odd? She seemed nice enough, albeit distant for some grandparents." And more heavily scarred than most, but that was it's own thing, Skeletal supposed.
"Um. Just different odd I suppose," Sludgemilk said with a shy little smile, "I don't know I guess I find it odd because she doesn't really seem like any of the DayClan cats we saw right? But then she's supposed to be Glowstar's daughter, that's strange, isn't it?"

"You're Wintrystar's daughter, and we saw how that turned out. I'm not sure family always correlates to understanding." She paused to scratch behind her ear a moment. "Could find and ask her."
"Maybe mom and dad were nice once upon a time," Sludgemilk reasoned, "Although I wasn't very nice at first, I more became kind later," She said, but finished talking when they finally arrived in DayClan. At first she hesitated, but moved forward, "They'll probably allow us... Probably, I know they have to be suspicious of WinterClan cats now."

"Well I'm not missing out on my apple, so let's go." Skeletalrose didn't hesitate to step over the border as if she owned it. And she technically had for five minutes that one time, which meant it was hers forever, right?
Sludgemilk's gaze darted in all directions as she tried to decide where to go before speeding over past White Tree and over to the apple orchard. She kept her ears raised trying to decide if anyone nearby was coming. She paused for a moment though when she saw Gingersnap cheerfully skipping out from the apple orchard and back towards cadence valley. "Hey! She's that prisoner that escaped WinterClan," Sludgemilk mumbled with annoyance, "Which means Bloodyhearts is probably here too."
