Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Lionpaw started bleeding. He was so dizzy from all of that, and he thought a tree fell on his head. His eyes closed, showing that he fainted. You can't give up! A voice spoke inside his head. He didn't recognize it. Do not give up!You can do it! The voice spoke again.
Suddenly, Lionpaw rolled, getting Howlingnight off him. He hardly got on his feet, before staring at the tom that injured him. Lionpaw was full of rage. Out of nowhere, his fur started floating and flickering into a yellow color. After a few moments, Lionpaw started screaming, and his fur turned yellow, his stripes were orange now, and his eyes from yellow became a bright blue. He menacingly looked at Howlingnight, then smirking, turned to his daughter. ",You should call a medicine cat, but not for me!"
With no warning, Lionpaw ran to Howlingnight ramming him."What do u think now?Do you still think you can mess with me?"
Howlingnight was flung across the earth, but steered his paws to a stop when he managed to catch himself. Lifting up his paw he could see blood drip from one claw, caused by him stopping himself at such a speed.
Howlingnight's eyes narrowed, "I think you don't know when you've met your match."
The plant life surrounding his body soon withered, decayed, the one bleeding paw returned back to normalcy. He stepped forward and as he did a path of death followed behind him as the grass he stepped on broke down, dried up, shriveled.
"That's enough Alvah Faris."
Glowstar's voice rose above the tense air. Stepping in front of her apprentice she strode up to him with a confidence no one should possess, "I wouldn't want to call your mother over, he's barely over six moons old, I'm sure you can see that."
Howlingnight looked to Glowstar then to Lionpaw, "I suppose even if I offered you a trade you wouldn't want to trade away that kind of magic given what he has."
"Or the fact that I just wouldn't trade a living being. But sure, we can pretend it has to do with his abilities," Glowstar marveled.
"I'll be seeing you," Howlingnight said, turning away from Lionpaw before moving up to Eclipsepaw to get her going too.
Glowstar turned back to Lionpaw, "I suppose your an elemental then. Your fur alone is a good give away."
"A what?" Lionpaw asked."What are you doing here anyway?!I could of handled that guy myself!" Lionpaw protested. His fur turned back to his original color out of a sudden."W-what was t-that" He was terrified now."What happened to me?" He looked to Glowstar."I remember everything, but i couldn't control myself...And now I'm so tired"
"And let you hog all of the fun?" Glowstar asked with a teasing accusatory tone as she jabbed his chest, a smile playing at her lips, that didn't seize even as the apprentices powers spun out of him. The confusion seemed to have settled into Lionpaw, "It's just a power you have," Glowstar lied, immediately regretting it, but even if she wanted to tell the truth, it probably was better to tell the truth slowly, not outright be blunt about it. "Sometime's powers make you act a certain way, but the fact is you're elemental, it just means you're born with extra skills."
"Ah...Special skills" Lionpaw murmured."What special skills do i have?I mean, i just saw that I'm faster and stronger. What if there are more?"Lionpaw asked his mentor with enthusiasm. He totally forgot about the patch of grass that suddenly withered.
Glowstar shook her head, "unlikely, elementals never have more than one core strength. Yours are likely just heightened senses making you stronger and faster. I'm sure that's all there is."
However even she was uncertain if that was true. After all even his own physique was effected, that was highly unusual. The power itself seemed to wick off of Lionpaw. Even with him back to normal it was like there was an aura around him that held a certain amount of energy comparable to... Something she didn't want to consider.
"You'll get the hang of it," Glowstar reassured him, "Every elemental always does."
