Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Precisely!" Elmwhisker praised. "I won't quiz you too much on new herbs, there's a lot to take in and I did a lot of my memorizing of the herbs while out collecting them, therefore, I also learned where they grew and in what seasons to harvest them." he said.
"I think the worst infection I ever had to treat was a lung infection that Shivershroud and I had a very hard time treating. The cat kept coughing and coughing and was having a hard time breathing. It took us awhile to finally find the right mix of herbs to treat it. But another bad infection is an infected rat bite, rats carry many diseases and if a bite isn't treated quickly and correctly it will always end up infected."
Whitekit listened as intently as he could, even though his senses kept roaming to other happenings in camp. He wasn't bored! No, surely not! This was important after all, and Beaconkit didn't seem to have any trouble focusing! He shuffled his paws irritably and forced his eyes and ears to remain focused.
Elmwhisker laughed at Beaconkit's enthusiasm. "There is so much to learn! Being a medicine cat is just as hard as being a warrior, we know different things, but just as many. We'd all be here for the next year or more if I told you everything, plus there are things I'm still learning myself, everyday!" he said, glancing between Beaconkit and Whitekit.
