Southpaw was trying to understand things, but everything here went against everything she had been taught. It was like being placed onto a planet full of aliens that didn't speak your language. Everything she did upset someone "I even tried to set up a tea party for Commander Shule, and she wouldn't even come..." she pouted

He let out a warm, hearty laugh at that one. Shule at a tea party, he would pay a whole pile of fresh-kill for that one! "Imaging the commander at tea is surely an interesting thought! Try doing a bigger party with more cats, someone might even drag her along. If you ever need to practice I'll have tea with you." He hardly even knew what such an activity consisted of, but imagined it was certainly not Shules cup of... well, tea.
"The regime can be kind of suspicious of other cats and everyone always wants order and, to some degree, perfection. Don't be too disheartened by it and it may take time to adjust." He shrugged, "and if, at the end of the day, you decide the regime isn't for you it sounds like you have a clan who will welcome you with open arms." Even if the thought made him kind of sad, she had to do what she needed to do.
