Ghostkit looked up at the senior warrior, taking note that he didn't seem to want the kits around. It made him feel torn on whether he should stay and bug Foxsnarl or move on and bug Ghost. Or, then again.... "Can you come with us? I think it would be much more fun with all three of us." He chirped, looking at Mudkit hopefully for support.
Unfortunately for Foxsnarl, Mudkit had picked up on the older tom's aloofness as well, and met Ghostkit's gaze with a smirk of playful mischievousness. "Pllllleeeeeeeaaaaaaasssssseeeeeee, Mister Foxsnarl?" She begged, batting her large, yellow-green eyes with as much innocent cuteness as she could muster. "It would be really fun, and educational, and you seem so lonely, too..."

"Plus, aren't you and Ghost friends?" He asked innocently. Obviously, he didn't know for sure but if they knew each others' names that was enough to be friends, right? He was friends with all the other kits and even some of the apprentices so it would make sense for all the warriors to be friends too.
I am never getting out of this, he realized with a huff. "Fine," Foxsnarl grunted reluctantly. "Let's get this over with quickly." He lashed his ginger tail and led them over to the warrior. They weren't friends, but he did know Ghost - the tom had quickly become cozy with Nightraven after he joined, despite the fact that Nightraven was nursing kits. Foxsnarl's son's kits. His son did not seem too bothered by the situation, from what he could tell, but it ruffled the senior warrior's fur all the same.
"Ghost," he called as he swept close, "eyes up, these kits have come to see you."
The dark gray tom stretched as he lifted his eyes to meet them, then his head, and offered a hesitant but warm smile to the group. "Ah- hello there," he greeted, his voice a deep, quiet rumble. He propped himself up a bit to get a good luck at the group.

Ghostkit's green eyes looked up at Ghost with wide and curious eyes "Hi! I'm Ghostkit!" He meowed excitedly. In his excitement, he completely forgot the reason for coming to the warrior at all. Was it to ask a question? He glanced over at Mudkit but decided he wasn't super concerned about it either.
Mudkit kept close to Foxsnarl as he led them across camp, taking a seat in front of the Senior Warrior beside Ghostkit as the reached the other tom named Ghost. Looking up at him, the warrior seemed friendly enough. "And I'm Mudkit," she chimed in gently, sending a friendly smile. "Ghostkit and I wanted to learn about the other clans, and Foxsnarl suggested that we go ask you, but he had to come with us because we don't know you and that would be rude." That...wasn't exactly what had occurred, which the kit obviously knew as she shot Foxsnarl an impish smirk. But it was his idea, after all.
His smile relaxed in understanding and the warrior nodded, settling back down. "Well, I can't certainly tell you about WinterClan," he agreed, "but I can't say I know much about the other clans. WinterClan doesn't always like to... get to know other cats, so they mostly keep to themselves."
Foxsnarl's glance down at the kit was half-amused and half-annoyed. "Just tell them quickly so we can get this over with," he replied gruffly as he looked back up at Ghost. He knew a little more about some of the other clans, having met with their warriors back when his mate was first discovering her family, but he wasn't about to admit that and stay here even longer.
"Well... what do you want to know?" Ghost asked the pair.

Ghostkit listened intently to the wrriors words, his ears swiveled forward to hear them better and his eyes as wide as they could feasible get. He didn't comment on the introduction given by Mudkit or Foxsnarl, they all knew that wasn't exactly how this situation came to be but that wasn't particularly important right now. "Well I want to know how come Winterclan doesn't like to get to know other cats. Do you know why?" It wasn't often they got to hear from an ex-winterclan cat themselves.
"That's a deep question," he murmured, surprised, "and I can't answer that fully. It's a complicated matter... but I can tell you we -- WinterClan are proud and they are slow to trust. Trusting your clanmates is more important up there than it is down here, because their territory is so dangerous, and if you trust the wrong cat it could cost you your life. You don't want your partner to flee when you run into trouble and leave you alone. So they take a long time to accept other cats because they have to trust and respect them first."
Mudkit's yellow-green eyes went wide as she listened to Ghost's explanation, looking completely mystified. "But why did they decide to live somewhere so dangerous in the first place?" She mewed in reply, frowning slightly at the idea. "I can't think of anyone that'd want to live somewhere so cold and dangerous. I get why they wouldn't want to leave after so long, but why start a clan there to start with?"
Ghost grinned. "It's higher than the rest of the clans and easily defensible. It's too cold for most cats, so they won't bother to try and take it over, and the clan will be left in peace. Besides, it's beautiful up there, and you have to be strong to survive. It's close to StarClan and the gods." So high up, at times it felt like the peaks were all that held up the sky. It was ancient and mysterious and even now, here, he longed to be home again.

Ghostkit leaned closer and hung on to ever word that the warrior let pass his lips. He was completely entranced by his words and stories. "Wow, I wish I could see it one day. But what's a gods?" He asked, the word feeling strange and unfamiliar as it stumbled over his tongue.
The dark gray tom blinked in surprise before realizing that of course the kits wouldn't know; this clan kept to StarClan. "Well, they're kind of like all-powerful cats," he explained carefully. "When I was younger, I stayed with some rogues that first taught me about the old gods... that they're infinite and eternal and everywhere at once, in everything and everyone. But WinterClan worships the strongest of them, Bellona and Durai and the rest. They help guide us, like StarClan cats."
Mudkit let out an amazed gasp at that. There were more super-powerful ancestors than just Starclan?! Graythorn had never told her about that. But then again, Summerclan seemed to only follow Starclan and not these others, didn't they? Of course, that opened an entirely new subject of conversation. "Do all of the other clans worship something other than Starclan too, like Winterclan's gods?" She asked quietly, still in awe of the idea. "Are we the only ones that believe in Starclan?"
Ghost hadn't thought about that. He closed his eyes and tried to think. "SpringClan... SpringClan believes in StarClan, I think," he meowed slowly, "maybe FallClan too. I don't know about the others."
Reluctantly, the ginger senior warrior chimed in. "SunClan and MoonClan have their own Gods," Foxsnarl offered, amused. He didn't believe in any forces besides StarClan and thought it was rather foolish of everyone to be fighting over it. "Don't think on it too hard, Mudkit. The other clans just don't realize their gods are StarClan cats."
