Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Joykit, calm down, they can touch..." Vividkit replied quietly although everyone's exaggerated reactions was really starting to stress the little kit out. Had she gone too far?! Everyone seemed to be having a good time and now everyone was screaming and crying and her eyes were starting to water too, "... The water's not deep here otherwise there would be guards. C-come out you two, we're done playing this game, it's no fun."
Fatekit mind raced the moment his paws hit the water. His paws flailed even in the most shallow water as his face submerged below the surface. He panicked and scrambled, one moment below the water and the next above.
Did they wanna save kits? Not really, but Sorrowfularia was bored, so in they stepped, plucking the children out one by one until they were all standing on dry land. "If you wanted swimming lessons, you should have asked." The Janus mused, flashing the group a wide smile.
Ok, the presence of the Janus was both soothing and worrisome, as it had solved the problem yet revealed her prior statement potentially inaccurate. At least they didn't seem angry about it and for that Vividkit was grateful.
"Are you both okay?!" She mewed as she approached Fatekit and Vibrantkit, her tail low and ears pinned back, "I'm really sorry, I-I didn't mean to hurt anyone. I thought we were all having fun until Joykit started screaming..."
Fatekit thrashed about until the Janus secured him in her jaws. His muscles relaxed as he felt dry earth once again beneath his paws. He still heaved and huffed as he breathed in again and again with no water rushing towards his lungs. He shut his eyes when he heard the other kits talking. All he wanted to do was curl up and forget that this happened.
"Fatekit?" Vividkit prodded, lifting her paw to poke him but thinking better of it and sitting it back down, "Are you okay? Or you need to go see mommy? I didn't mean to scare you like that, this water is really shallow, I thought it would be OK..."

Just as Joyikit was starting to panic, Sorrowfularia had swooped in and grabbed the two kits out of the water. Relief washed over her, as they were set back on dry land, though she still looked ruffled after the whole affair "I'm sorry to... I was just playing around, I didn't mean for you to actually go into the water" she looked between the two kits, and then her sister
Thinking through the events just brought back more and more terrible memories of that day in his early kithood. He continued to stiffen more and more, and then Joykit spoke. And a spark of anger awoke in him. "You didn't mean for me to go into the water!? That's a pile of dung if I've ever heard it." He raised his voice to imitate his sister. "'Don't worry, we won't let you drown this time!' Some sister you are."
Vividkit touched her tail-tip to Joykit's shoulder and shook her head. While she knew her sister meant well, her choice of words was only making the situation worse, "How about you go get mama so she can look over Fatekit and make sure he's OK? I'll stay here with him while we wait."
She sat down next to her brother and leaned in close, soaking up water from his fur without even a second thought, "I'm just happy you're okay. I'm so, so, so sorry that this happened."
"Fatekit, are you okay?" Vividkit asked, leaning in closer. Her canary yellow eyes were big and round like two gold coins, not watering but close to it, "If you don't want to talk that's okay, but... could you nod or something? Your silence is scaring me."
His shivering grew more and more violent. The cold had begun to dissipate, but the feeling still covered his body like a sharp, claw covered blanket. His eyes just looked lost, unable or unwilling to focus on anything in front of him.
