Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Wow, a whole fish dinner! Too bad I hate fish, but hey anything I can eat in front of pretty boy has to taste good," Sean said with a playful smirk as he chowed down into his dinner.
"I would be careful though, you never know what those fishermen. Are up to," Zephyr said mysteriously as his voice came up disjointed. Suddenly the world for Mitten's and Sean became dizzy.
"Fish laced with a sleeping aid to catch cats like you and I'm their leader," Zephyr said leaning down close to them before lifting his head up to the two-legs, "Take them away!"
The two-legs didn't actually understand Zephyr and honestly the guy probably just believed he was leading these two-legs, but they just so happened to pick up Mitten's and Sean and place them into crates on their ship with Zephyr following them up to see to it that the job was done.
So, for all intents and purposes, Mittens was probably supposed to be unconscious right now, and this would be the moment with the convenient fade to black that all movies and novels eventually had. But nope, Mittens is omniscient, and she's breaking the laws of the universe.
'Cause those fishermen shouldn't have a ship. Their ship sank to the bottom of the sea. So where did this one pop up? If anything, it was obviously an illusion that Zephyr was stupid enough to fall for. In fact, this whole thing was probably an illusion. Especially considering the fact that Mittens should've been unconscious, and wasn't. Unconsciousness? More like fictitious.
So ha. Another point for Mittens. Mittens was totally winning this whole competition thing, even though she hadn't really been keeping score before. If anything, Mittens had like a hundred points, and Zephyr had half a point. And it wasn't even a real point, it was just a pity point 'cause that big fat zero on the board looked sad.
In fact, Zephyr might think he had the upper hand, but alas, it was her, Mittens! She'd known all of this had been going to happen. She was the one who'd manipulated Sean into leading her to the beach. She'd planted the bomb days earlier, having already known Zephyr would show up to save a damsel in distress like always. She'd even hired the fishermen to act as if their boat was on fire and to pretend they were on Zephyr's side, when in actuality, they had been paid off earlier by her.
And thus, the years of planning, the culmination of this decade old feud, Mittens held the upper hand even as Zephyr stood gloating, so confident in his supremacy.
So, Mittens decided to go along with it, having known Zephry would try something like this. All the while, she was waiting until she ripped the carpet out from under him, knocked him down from his high horse, and showed him just who was the best cat in the universe.
... Or, conversely, Mittens blinked, and said, "Meow." 'Cause uh... This ship actually looked like a nice apartment. And these crates actually looked like cute plushy beds. And was the world flickering weirdly for all of them, or was reality bending to Mitten's new narrative?
Huh... someone should really look into that. Seriously, what was even happening.
