Lilypool felt relief that Jetstar was willing to listen to them and possibly make this arrangement work, however that relief turned to quiet distaste as she listened to what Dancingdragon said. As soon as the words left that cat's mouth the Janus felt straight dislike for the she cat that quickly grew to hate as she continued to spout her nonsense. Lilypool behaved herself and kept her tongue bit although that required a lot of work. She wouldn't cause any trouble for Sunclan now. The she cat was at least happy Jetstar told off her clanmate and still allowed the pair of Sunclan cats to follow. However she worried what would be in store for Lastingpaw.
Quietly she turned to the younger cat and whispered so only he could hear, "You think you'll be okay here? You might get more cats that are like that Dancingdragon... I wouldn't want you to get hurt. Not to say Jetstar won't try to protect you in all but cats can be rather sneaky when they want to be. Corner you when no one is around."

Latingpaw's pelt prickled as he watched the exchange, not with fear but anger. He had never even met his aunt before and this cat had the audacity to accuse her of that? It didn't sit well with him " I'll be fine" he shook out his pelt following after the two until they were in Jetstar's den. Once they were alone, he began "It's not my place to speak about your warriors, but I'm surprised you let them talk to you like that" one ear flickered back "Littlestar said that you didn't put u with any nonsense, and that I should behave myself... I guess I just didn't expet that. My father said that you were a lot of fun when he was growing up, so I have really been looking forward to meeting you"
"Anyway, as Lilypool said, I was sent here to be a Ray. Basically I will just be living with your clan part time, and traveling between here and SunClan. You already know outsiders are not allowed on SunClan territory, so I will be like a mediator. If you need to communicate with Littlestar, I can deliver the message without you having to worry about one of your cats getting into trouble. Littlestar also wanted me to learn from you and finish out my training here in SpringClan. I am almost ready to be a warrior, but she believes that you have a lot you could teach me"
IT would be useful to make sure they had ties to SunClan especially if they did decide to go through an attack on WinterClan. And it would allow her to keep an eye on how things were going in SunClan. If Littlestar took out the beast that was troubling her clan, then perhaps they could begin discussions to make efforts to deal with WinterClan.
"SpringClan is a lot different to SunClan," Jetstar meowed. "We do not have as harsh restrictions, that being said I will likely assign you a mentor outside of myself. I would certainly like to spend time with you as you are my grand nephew." She said her gaze softening a little. "Or great nephew, meh." She flicked her tail.
"Dancingdragon is a warrior I have an interesting relationship with," Jetstar meowed. "She'll be tart and likely call you a spy, but I think having a cat to field interactions with SunClan would be good."
But she would have to be cautious with what she said around the young tom for certain. This would warrant a discussion with her council for certain. She knew she wouldn't refuse her kin coming to SpringClan, but she had to figure out how to balance the fact he'd have a paw in both clans.
There was certainly much to learn in being relocated, and she was certain Lastingpaw could thrive in SpringClan.
The trouble was he wasn't coming to join and leaving SunClan behind. She knew SunClan had sown bad blood in SpringClan many many seasons ago, long before the tom was born, back when Jetstar herself had been a fairly young SunClan warrior and Littlestar herself not yet a part of SunClan.
"You'll be surprised by a great deal here in SpringClan," Jetstar said. "I will do my best to allow you to smoothly transition as part of the clan, assign a mentor to help you get your paws wet. After all if you're to complete your warrior training I'll need an unbiased cat to gauge your ability." She said lightly. "Though I think you'll have no trouble." She purred. "And I'm looking forwards to interacting more with you myself."
She flicked her tail. "But I ask that you take some time to learn and make friends. It'll be difficult at first but I'm confident as cats get to know you, you'll find that even those who might not always like you have a great deal to teach you."
Dancingdragon after all had pushed her to greater heights.

Lastingpaw nodded, if he was disappointed in her deciding to pick someone else as his mentor it didn't show on his face. Instead he began to grin "I can't wait to get to know you too. Don't worry about me to much, cats like Dancingdragon don't scare me in the slightest" he puffed out his chest, the long fur there puffing outwards. She reminded him of a disrespectful kit that needed to be taught how to speak with some respect. It was annoying, but it didn't frighten him. It wasn't their fault that they were uncultured and raised to be so bratty.
Jetstar hummed. "I'll have to think about it." She admitted. Then a thought occurred, Goldengriffon didn't have an apprentice since Raggedpaw had run away. Perhaps she could make him Lastingpaw's mentor.
"ACtually I think I have a good cat in mind." She mused. Goldengriffon being Lastingpaw's mentor would mean that Dancingdragon could see for herself that the tom would be an asset to SpringClan despite his ties to SunClan. Plus Goldengriffon was a good cat and would teach Lastingpaw well.
"I'll speak with them and let you know shortly." She said with a purr. "Do you have anything you want to ask of me? I imagine you've heard stories about me, and I'll clear up any misconceptions you might have."

"I have a lot of questions!" he replied honestly before looking back at Lillypool and nodding. Now that things had been settled, she would be able to go back to SunClan "but it's probably not the right time to ask them. We will have plenty of time to talk I am sure and I know you are busy" he dipped his head respectfully "This visit was unannounced, so I should let you get back to what you were working on before our arrival. Just let me know where you want me to go, and I will make myself scarce until you are ready for me"
(Yeah we'll timeskip to where Jetstar introduces Lastingpaw to his mentor Goldengriffon unless you have something in particular in mind?)
Jetstar purred. "We most certainly will, I am keen to get to know you." It had been so long since she'd had a member of her family in her clan she was looking forward to having Lastingpaw around. "For now why don't you go head over to the apprentice den? I can show you where it is, then I'll need to speak with Dancingdragon and some of the others."
Dancingdragon would be difficult, but Jetstar was confident they'd at least come to somewhat of a truce. Or stalemate at least.
After speaking with Dancingdragon (well more getting yelled at by the other she cat), Jetstar had taken Goldengriffon aside to ask him if he'd be willing to take on Lastingpaw as his apprentice.
He'd seemed leery but had ultimately agreed to Jetstar's relief, so she now led the tom to introduce him to his new apprentice.
"Lastingpaw." She said calling for him from the apprentice den. "I've brought your mentor to meet with you."

Lastingpaw raced over, skidding to a stop in front of the other two cats.
He had been working on making his nest in the apprentice den, since none of the other apprentices seemed to keen on helping him. He didn't let him bother him though, they didn't know him or what he was doing there. All he could do for now is smile and try to seem approachable. He had just finished up when he had heard his name being called.
"Hello!" he greeted, "I'm Lastingpaw, pleasure to meet you!"
