The essence of eternal life. There was a reason Rhiannon had found herself in this said city, in a land between the great forests and the human grounds. There was never a true answer to the question she asked, but there were always things to understand if one looked a little closer. The lithe feline found herself waltzing through the territory as if she owned it. After all, internal affairs had to understand the layout of the land, right?
A sound made her look up, an ear twitching as she turned to blink at what still seemed like an empty alleyway.
"Hello?" she called out politely, as if appearing completely nonthreatening, her posture unchanging, the tail flicking. The only change was the now sharp look in her eyes, calculating exactly where the sound must've come from.

Out walked a bengal she cat who's yellow green eyes were fixated upon Rhiannon. Orion knew Rhiannon in passing since they were both in the League but hadn't talked to her before. There just didn't seem to be a time or place or interest before hand. Now however Orion had been assigned to check out the territory to make sure no trouble was brewing. Since this was the last spot of the route and the other she cat had been here perhaps everything was fine and done? So Orion walked up to Rhiannon casually walking without fear or worry. "Good to see you here, everything fairing well on this side? I didn't see anything else to worry about towards the western side of the town." Felix-kun had been assigned to check out the south side from what Orion heard but wasn't too concerned of any trouble he might encounter. He could handle himself just fine. achromatic

Rhiannon wasn't as fixated on patrols and all of that as other cats often were, but hey, she hadn't run into any trouble since arriving, and it wasn't like there was going to be trouble now, especially with the two of them around. Most of the cats around here knew the scent of a Primal Instinct cat, it seemed, and despite her wayward origins and the scent of her old home that still clung to her fur, she was still viewed as one of them.
"It was...fine; I'm sure the others scampered off the moment they saw me coming," she replied with a flick of her ear in amusement, her accent still thick from the north, "I'm sorry, I don't think I know your name. What was it again?"

"Orion, it's Orion." She gave a slight head nod as she spoke her name. "Glad to see you out here. If you don't mind me asking could I possibly borrow you for a moment? Seeing as it's all fine out here I can move on to the next thing I had planned. Not so much work related per se but a personal one. I'll happily share the reward with you if I am able to obtain them."

"Oh?" Rhiannon's ears perked in interest. As much as she pretended to be cold and calculating, set apart from most, curiosity drove her into most situations. It was curiosity and the possibility of finding said 'everlasting life' that had brought her here, after all. "What did you have in mind?" she asked, tilting her head to the side, "and what type of reward will this be?" She had immediately moved closer, fascinated by the potential of a possible adventure.

"See over in the shopping district there is this little stand that tends to have some interesting nick nacks. M-mostly two leg items but they tend to have food that's worth the find as well as random items. Last time I was able to nab some type of fur that's currently being used by the nursery for the younglings. However I came pretty close to being caught, so I wouldn't be suprised if security is amped. I need someone to help me be a second p-pair of eyes while I look around. If you hell me out we can swap and you cant t-t-take whatever you want from there." Orion wanted to nab some of the cheese she found last time but couldn't get along with some type of meat she knew the League could use. Food was scarce so even a small bit of food was a tremendous find.
(And Rhiannon can find anything you want her to find. Well almost anything that's within reasons XD Plz no clowns)
How intriguing. Rhiannon would admit that she hadn't truly explored the city–she simply hadn't had the chance, and humans, while fascinating creatures, were also dangerous. "That sounds fun," she replied slowly, glancing towards the direction Orion gestured to, "you'll have to let me know what to look for though; I haven't been around humans...much." She was new to this place after all, and while there were humans up north in the loch, they rarely bothered the cats nearby.
"Lead the way," she gave Orion a smile, though her eyes still held a seriousness in them.

So the hunter went out and carefully walked along the alleyways and shadows of the road making sure as to not be seen. Orion had enough practice to know what areas were dangerous and what areas were safe. As they walked on Orion decided to give a description on what to look for. "These...beings. Human, twolog, two legs, w-w-whatever you wish to call them are very ugly. They come in various sizes and colors but all are furless. N-n-naked except for the cloths they garb themselves in. Essentially they are the ugliest creatures you may ever see in your life." The bengal she cat slowed down as she saw the stall up ahead but paused. "Before we go on is there any questions you have about a-a-anything about this at all?"

Orion’s explanation made Rhiannon smirk in amusement. Ugly and furless huh? Surely, they’d look like that strange rat she had once seen, born without a shred of fur on its back, but Rhiannon didn’t really know what to expect. She had heard stories of course, and seen their villages from afar, but it was still new to her.
“I do have a question,” she hummed, “is there a plan for this? Do I have some specific signal to make if danger comes our way?”

"Hmmm that is a good question...let me t-t-think." Orion thought hard for a moment before an idea came into mind. "Okay so lets try this: do you see that flower pot over there? It's close enough that i-i-if danger should come by you can knock it over and it would be loud enough for m-m-me to notice as well as for us to escape. We should both have enough time to g-g-get what we need without worry but just to be safe." The bengal she cat paused before adding, "Thank you for joining me on this excursion."

Rhiannon glanced up, noting where the flowerpot was. That was a fair plan; simple and easy, something Rhiannon favoured plenty. "All right, see you in a bit then," she replied with a shrug, leaping up towards the ledge where the pot was, her eyes scanning the surroundings from the higher viewpoint. She didn't comment on the other cat's thank you, simply treating this as another job...for now.
Luckily for them, there was nothing around, and glancing to Orion, she gave a nod. All clear.

The bengal she cat made a quick dash to the stash looking around for something to help drag the food she wished to drag back with them After a few moments of looking she found this long cloth that looked like would work for the job she wanted it to do. Continuing on as fast as she could Orion found a few small things of cheese she threw into the bag as well as some rather salty but tasty things of small meat and even a few rolls of bread. While it didn't look like much to the group this would be an excellent night of a feast. Quickly tying it the best she could Orion ran over to Rhiannon panting slightly. Carefully she placed the parcel around in the brush behind them before turning back to Rhiannon. "I got enough of what I wa-wa-wanted for now...want to make a run for it for your stuff while I do look out for you? I think we still have time before anyone will notice anything amiss there."

Rhiannon didn't have anything in particular that she was looking for, but it was always interesting to see what there was around a space like this. With a nod to the other cat, she found herself leaping down from the ledge, slipping through the gaps of the small stalls and chairs, her silver eyes roaming from left to right, looking for anything of interest.
Human things didn't really intrigue Rhiannon as much as she thought they would; then again, she often just found simple things, like food and old sweaters or things that just didn't make any sense to her whatsoever. Having only met these creatures recently, surely there was plenty she had yet to learn...
A glint in the light caught her attention, and she immediately found herself crawling under a tablecloth, retrieving a shiny type of thing in her mouth, as she glanced around again, her eyes brightening as she glanced to a shelf nearby, covered by some pane of glass, a plethora of different items behind it.

Orion kept a careful look around their environment as Rhiannon looked around finding odds and ends. "Finding anything interesting over there on your end?," asked the she cat as quietly but as best as could be heard from how far away they were from one another. Orion had her sights set on certain things so didn't stray too far from what she had wanted to hunt down but was rather curious as to what was all truly there. So far everything remained calm and quiet...which as time went was slowly making the hunter nervous.

"Maybe," Rhiannon responded, though with the distance, she wasn't even sure Orion could hear her. Surely, there'd be some hints of...something here. Squeezing through, she found herself looking at the trinkets, probably cheap tourist knick knacks used to trick some unspecting kids into buying...but her eyes gleamed at the sight of something shiny and gold. Interesting. She knew this marking, knew this well enough to match it to some of the stones she had seen back home.
How intriguing, that there were signs of the three-headed god even here. The three rings, the blue stone encased in gold, surely this wasn't a coincidence. Even humans believed in this. Grabbing the decorated stone on a chain, her eyes flickered here and there, before squeezing herself out again, satisfied with her new prize.

Orion saw a two leg come around the corner but stopped to talk to someone that came behind them. It was hard to tell if they were yelling or happy to see each other but that didn't matter. She had to get Rhiannon to safety from the two legs. As fast as she could she broke the near by flowering pot that made a satisfactory crashing sounds. Ahead the two legs continued to talk as if they didn't hear it at all. Was the crash not aloud enough for the other she cat to hear or were the two legs just deaf and dumb?

The crash of a pot made Rhiannon look up, her wide eyes immediately darting around just to notice the way the ground vibrated to the twolegs' steps. Great. Just in time, huh? She immediately held onto the amulet and darted towards the glass, squeezing through once more before glancing around to anywhere she could hide. With a hiss of surprise at the sudden sound of their chatter, she immediately dove underneath a shelf, hoping to the gods that they'd simply leave.

Looking around there was something that needed to be done. It seemed Rhiannon was trapped...the bengal she cat had an idea but she didn't like it. Without having time to change her mind the wild hunter ran towards the two legs and launched at, who had to be the shop owners legs hissing, spitting, bitting with everything she had. There was an angry shout followed by a howl of agony. The other two leg just stood there unsure of what to do while the victim tried in vain to get the crazy she cat off of him. Hurry, she thought, go go gooo!

Oh gods, she thought, wide-eyed at the mess this little adventure was starting to become. With a quick movement, she dashed forward, immediately crawling out of the narrow doorway, barely escaping heavy legs and clumsy feet, her eyes wide as the other humans shouted loudly, screeching at the sudden intrusion of another cat.
"Come on!" she called out, "let's go!" This was surely enough; Orion better be following right after, or the two of them would be caught. She turned to look behind her, only to snarl at the human, fur standing on its end to distract them from the other cat who had thrown herself at them for Rhiannon's rescue.

Orion saw her chance, quickly taking her claws one more time to move upward before launching herself off the human. She sprinted with all her might as a foot whooshed past her almost hitting it's mark but missing by a mere few inches. The bengal dashed towards Rhiannon panting from the excitement that had just occurred.
"Let's make h-h-aste!" The hunter followed the other she cat's lead only quickly diverging for a mere moment to pick up the parcel she had stored away until now. Both were making a mad dash towards some undecided destination.
