Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Burningstar seeing him look away from her... closing the door on their interactions. A flare of old feelings rose up. Everything she'd stamped down when she'd been younger, when she'd been a deputy with too many secrets that Shiverstar, nor anyone in the clan could know.
"Do you patrol the border often?" She asked suddenly, she needed to step away before she burst out now. She fought to compose herself. "I have... much to ask, you've raised kits and... stuff I wouldn't mind speaking again with you tomorrow if possible. As I have to get back to my duties unfortunately..." She didn't really have any duties but she needed an excuse to step away, and a way to ask Devilhorns if he'd see her tomorrow.
About kits? Maybe there was more going on between her and Liedon than she let on. "Yes, I tend to wonder near the border as part of an old habit." A habit he developed to all of the borders when he'd still been a apart of NightClan and had been looking for his children, hoping to spot a fliker of them just on the other side of them. Devilhorns was almost saddened to hear about kits, as he cuased his heart to ache and yet he ignored it, pushe dit down and buried it for the moment. "If you must go, I wish you the best. May the stars be in your favor till we met again." It was teh best greeting he could give at the moment.

"I'm so happy for you!" Cannalily said. Family was important to the she-cat, even if the Clan was the closest she had to a real one at the moment. If Devilhorns left for his family then it had to be a major deal for him. Even the madly loyal she-cat had to be okay with something like that. "And he's a Lunar Guard Captain? That must be so cool!" She had no idea what that was but it sounded important and really cool. It sorta rolled off the tongue.
Devilhorns had no idea what the position entailed either only that it brought pride to his eyes. "Thank you, Cannalily. It keeps him quite busy, but he still makes time for us. How have you been?"

"Oh, I've been fine!" It was a half-truth. She was still weak from the illness that took her family, making it hard for her to do Warrior duties, or even leave the camp. Not only that, she was getting minor sickness more frequently, some coughs here and there but nothing serious. She was truly worried about her own future, but her eyes did not betray her issues. They stayed shiny and bright as usual, something she had practiced around her own Clan to hide her own worries.
She hesitated a moment when she thought of telling Devilhorns about the incident with Larkwing in the pond. Devilhorns was in another Clan now, and someone outside the Clan knowing that the Deputy had gotten sick could mean trouble, so she held her tongue on that matter.
"Oh, I helped fix a hole in the Nursery the other day! I was so happy to help the kits out!"
"That sounds wonderful! I'm sure the queens greatly appreciated it too." It was good to hear about NightClan again even if he didn't live there anymore, it had still been his home for his whole life. Devilhorns smiled, "but how did that hole get there?" He could just see it being one of the kits' doing with how out of control they can get when playing their games.

"Ironkit never really said, did she?" Cannalily asked Burningstar. If Ironkit had said something about it she clearly hadn't paid attention, or her mind was elsewhere.
Burningstar tilted her head, the she cat about to leave. "hmm, I doubt Ironkit put it there, it could've been a number of things. Some apprentices getting a bit too rambunctious with a moss ball, or even just the weather wearing a hole into the den." She shrugged. "But Ironkit did quite well in taking the initiative," She let out a purr. "I'm very proud. But alas, I must take my leave now, Cannalily, Devilhorns, I bid you goodnight," She said politely before turning and padding away heading back in the direction of NightClan's camp. Thoughts swirling through her head.

"Good night!" Cannalily said. She wanted to stay awhile longer. This was the most socialization with an outside cat she'd gotten in a couple of moons, and she wasn't going to let the opportunity be wasted.
"Good night." He nodded his head as a part of his goodbye before turning to Cannalily. Devilhorns smiled, "it sounds like things have been interesting in NightClan as of late?"

"Always!~" Cannalily said happily. She took such pride in her clan. Even if nothing had happened but a leaf flew by in the breeze she'd find it interesting. "What about in MoonClan? Anything exciting?!"
"Nothing like what I'm sure you've experienced." MoonClan was weak without its leader, something even Devilhorns would not disclose to an old friend. "The kits are still all too young to get into to much trouble. Though, we do have a prankster named Spookpaw. She's harmless though."

"I haven't experienced much to be honest. Hard to from the inside of a Medicine Cat's den..." The words rang more bitterly than the she-cat let on. It was the most she'd hinted at something going on with her this entire conversation. However, she quickly changed the subject back to MoonClan. "Spookpaw? She sounds adorable!"
"Oh, she's a little terror. Her latest prank involved putting a bunch of dead spiders in the nursery. The kits loved it, though I don't believe the queens appreciated the joke." Oh, he'd found it funny watching everyone scramble from the den, though he'd also watched the apprentice sneak in with another apprentice to lay the dead insects inside. Devilhorns grinned at the memory, though it was the only time he'd been witness to the apprentice's pranks. He'd only heard stories until the other day.
"Oh, they did. It was a good time all around. Tell me more about NightClan." It'd been his home is whole life, so it felt weird hearing what was going on there second hand like this. Devilhorns settled better into a crouch, taking the pressure off some of his old joints.

"Well, we have two medicine cats since Mercury disappeared. They do a great job! They take really good care of m- the Clan." Cannalily stumbled. Mousebrain, she couldn't let it be common knowledge that she was sick all the time. She was going to go to the Gathering soon. The less cats that knew about her constant illness, the better.
"Oh, when did Mercury leave?" That was news to him. Passing over her stumble, he focused on that first piece of information she gave him. Devilhorns had rarely gone to the medicine cat's den for treatment, the main reason his scars were as bad as they were, but he'd always seen himself as someone that didn't deserve treatment. That was something his sister had drilled in to his head at least.

"I don't remember." Cannalily said. "It all kinda blurred together for me. I remember she was there one day, and gone the next..." Cannalily wasn't kept wholly informed of the situations in the Clan, in part due to her illness.
"Oh, well I hope she'd well." It was strange but nothing could be helped for the matter. Maybe Mercury had seen that it was her time to leave and took the first chance she had, just like Devilhorns had. "I'm afraid I don't know much about my new clan to inform you of any of its secrets." He said it jokingly but he truly didn't know much about MoonClan besides that it was his home now, and that his son lived here.
