Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
While there were many an outcast in the kingdom of ice, according to her family, there were none quite like her. Of course, in the mind of the she-cat with a pattern similar to fire and ice colliding in a powerful surge upon her pelt, she was no different than any other and preferred it that way. Growing up, she longed only to be seen as normal, like everybody else. Her father, before his passing, used to whisper in her ear before she succumbed to sleep that her being different was a good thing, it was what made her special, and her gift was what would bring honor to the clan.
After his death, things only grew darker, sharper, and her gift became a hindrance, a sign over her head that begged for her to be excluded. After his death, she stopped telling those around her what she saw.
Secretsanctum was just like anyone else in this frozen world. Sheβd make sure of it.

Roseshade sat by herself, guarded and quite alone as her golden gaze watched the rest of the clan go about their duties. She was a medicine cat with no mentor, a healer with no herbs, a witch with no direction. She had been plucked from her warrior training to become the clan's next witch, yet for now all she could do was wait until the gods gave her a sign. She now had her own den, though she longed for the times when she got to share a nest with her sister. It made her uneasy being so far apart, her nights sleepless and her days filled with unease.
At the very least, her new position gave her some power over her situation. Few cats questioned her now, that is save for one... A certain tom who had managed to place himself on the receiving end of her fury. She half expected him to make an appearance but instead it was a different cat that caught her eye. A she-cat that seemed just as alone and guarded as she...
Rising to her paws she slowly made her way over, though introductions had never been a strong suit of hers
To Secretsanctum, the witch of renown needed no introduction. Spluttering, she stood and took a step back to dip her head lowly in respect. βYour grace! Roseshade- erm-β She spoke haltingly and glanced around, almost unbelieving that the she-cat truly meant to approach her. βYes, I- would love to.β She gave a tentative smile. βWhere would you like to go?β She tilted her head.

Roseshade wasn't used to the respect that her new position warranted her. Before this she was simply just another apprentice, ad even though the gods had deemed her a pure-blood, she and her sister had been found nearly dead washed up on the banks of the river. If the god hadn't intervened they would have been left to freeze in the snow, but instead they had been taken in and adopted by Fervidsummer. The rumors around their origins had spread, and though none openly questioned them she could still hear whispers from those that thought they were alone.
Honestly she didn't really care where they went out hunting, but if it made the she-cat more comfortable she would take the lead "The Sapphire Springs. Hopefully the warm water will have brought out some prey"
The she-cat nodded eagerly, beginning their trek toward the springs. βIf I may be so bold as to ask, how are you faring as of late?β Secretsanctum smiled a bit, hoping she didnβt make the other uncomfortable. βHas all been well?β
